Nice stay, only issues: the beds were a little hard, and bedding (duvet) a little over used, also, the cable did not work on most channels, for example, on CNN NBC and main channles, the cable would error and do the 'digital tiling' issue where the other channels would work. HBO channels same issue. Other than that a nice stay.

Ok but a bit isolated, DINER in front was good!

I've stayed here a dozen times & every time is great. The rooms are clean & staff are friendly. The only thing was that a very loud couple walking the hall talking @ 3:45am when I was trying to go to sleep but not hotels fault. We didn't make breakfast but times before have been great. We will be staying here again : )

Room was small and dark, and the furniture looked dirty. They are in the middle of renovations so hopefully the rooms will be part of the update. I ended up moving to a different hotel. I had made a special request which was not totally honored. The desk clerk was not helpful or friendly. I do not think I will go back there again.

very happy with the room, i was only there one night . the breakfast was nice too. staff members were helpful.

Very nice hotel. Staff were great, friendly and efficient. We were 2 adults and 3 children in one room so we needed extra towels and pillows, called the front desk and had them in 5 minutes! We checked in late, so this accommadation was at 10pm! Breakfast was good, pool was nice and well maintained, room was clean but a little on the small side for a King suite (which is the only reaon I gave comfort of the room a 4). Would stay here again but would consider adjoining rooms if the children were school aged.

The hotel was very nice almost all staff was accommodating. Room was clean. Housekeeping staff very nice but difficult to explain what was needed. Check in staff has a slight attitude when asked a simple question, but she quickly toned down.

THE ONLY THING I FOUND UNCOMFORTABLE ABOUT THE ROOM WAS THE BED. THE MATTRESS IN MY ROOM WAS VERY HARD.

Hotel is very nice and staff is very friendly right off the long island expressway Will stay again

The room was a great size as well as the bathroon and bed. The interior was better that I anticipated. Service was friendly and helpful.

Our stay at the Hampton Inn was exceedingly pleasant. We were visiting friends in the area, and the Inn was a convenient place to recharge ourselves between outings. The room and the hotel were very clean, and the breakfast was outstanding. The Inn is within easy access to shopping, and was next to a wonderful Diner. The location was far enough from the highway that we often forgot that we were in the middle of crowded Long Island. The Inn had a heated pool that our friends enjoyed too. My wife and I would definitely stay there next time we are in the area.

Hampton Inn is conveniently located to where we needed to be. Easy to reach. Hotel is clean and quiet. Only drawback is the noisy a/c heater unit. For one night, we dealt with it, but if this was a multi-night stay, it would not have been good. Hot breakfast with make your own waffles was a real treat!

Upon arrival I had to wait for a clerk to check me in. No one was at the ready to do it. I presented my credit card for ID and it was immediately swipped without asking even though my room was pre paid so when I asked why I was told it was for incidentals. No mini bar in the room, no Resturant open so what incidentals? At the small convience shop by the front desk? I got to the room which looked adequate for a night and found when I tried to turn the TV obit did not work. After some jiggling of wires we got it working. The bed creaked when you moved and you could hear noise from room to room clearly. I heard the bed creaking from the room next door. There was some sort of wrapper on the carpet between the bed and end table. Bed was comfortable if noisy. A bug dropped out of the window shade onto the window sill when I pulled it down. It was old and dead. The shower was good but could have ran hotter. I slept a few hours. I did not use the breakfast. I did have a cup of the coffee in the lobby and it was very good. Same problem without check out - waited for a clerk. Would not go back for the price paid.

VERY DISAPPOINTED---PRIOR OTHER HAMPTON STAYS WERE MUCH MORE SATISFACTORY----BED AND BEDDINGS WERE POOR---AIR CONDITION AND HEATER WERE VERY DIFFICULT TO CONTROL AND NOISY. IN SUMMARY, WE WERE NOT PLEASED AND WOULD BE RELUCTANT TO RETURN.

hotel was good. good location. clean rooms. heater was way too loud and had to turn it off to get some sleep.

I always go to this location and I never have problems here.

It was an easy check in. Room was clean and tight. The location was easy to find and right around the block from restaurants and supermarket for something to eat. The wireless internet was easy to pickup and all full bars on my computer

The hotel was nice and clean. Theroom was nice. The pullout sofa wasnot comfortable. Needed more blankets. the bed was fine.

Standard hotel room, on the nicer side. located back from the parkway so the property has a relaxing feel. There is a mysterious empty lot next door which we used for running the kids around. We spotted some outdoor seating near the pool. There is a sneaky back way to a diner located between the Hotel and the parkway, and a gas station and shopping center very close by. Our room was fine, the pool was refreshing, the breakfast was OK featuring bagel station, small danish and muffins, Omelets and sausage in a chafing dish, and one waffle maker.

Hotel was clean, in good condition, and the continental breakfast was great. The staff was also friendly and courteous. Located close to restaurants and shopping and the long island expressway.

Great hotel, service will definitely return!

it was very nice, the one major problem was that there was not a safe box in the room. There was one located near the front desk which I did not feel comfortable using.

I was on Long Island for business and stayed here for one night. It was easy to get to, close to main roads, and very accommodating. The room was very comfortable, and I had a hard time thinking of a service that they didn't have! Pool, fitness center, and a wonderful breakfast included. I would definitely recommend this and stay again.

We had an excellent free breakfast...clean room & quick check in. Close to the Long Island Expressway. A beautiful heated pool....coffee bar always open...A wonder stay!

I come to Long Island every other weekend and this is were i stay. w/o a doubt this is the only place i stay. The comp breakfest is out of this world.The diner across the street from it has some of the best food in all of Long Island

My wife and I came up for a funeral for a dear friend. Th Location was excellent (the viewing and service was on Commack Road. The room was very clean, the hotel was in excellent condition, the continental breakfast was excellent and the coffee bar was just what we needed. This was our first visit to the hotel but I doubt it will be our last. It fulfilled all our needs.

Everything was just fine. We were attending a funeral. Only possible change would be to add an additonal chair to the room. Only chair was the professional style desk chair. Would have enjoyed a place to sit other than bed, as there were 2 adults in the room and we had some time to spend in the room.

Great value for the price. The hotel was well maintained and clean, had all the amenities I would expect and a little more. The complimentary coffee and breakfast was unexpected! The location was a little busy, but the room was quiet and comfortable.

Overall, we had a very nice stay at the Commack Hampton Inn. The staff was very professional and very nice. The breakfast was tasty and had a lot of variety. The furniture was comfortable. However, the comforter was lumpy to the point of having many places where it was just the top & bottom layer of fabric and many other places where it was up to 6" thick. We put the extra blanket on top of it and managed to stay warm, but the comforter was AWFUL.

The room was very nice and also very clean. I would recommend this hotel. Its also very convienent, its right off the LIE

Poor customer service at front desk upon arrival and the beds were terribly hard. In the morning we smelled people smoking thru our bathroom vent in the ceiling.

Staff was really friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was wonderful. Very satisfied.

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were updated and featured a small work area as well as a comfortable chair for reading or watching tv. The room was clean and also had a refrigerator and a microwave. The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to multiple highways. The hotel offered a free breakfast with a little something for everyone.
