Rodeway Inn Magic Mountain Area - קסטאיק

Quick overnight stay over while passing thru to next destination. Wouldn't recommend this hotel for more than 1 night. Bed was not very comfortable and breakfast wasn't that good either, but other hotels in the area were too expensive. Hotel is just off the interstate.

It was a regular Budget hotel. The bed was clean and comfortable. The furnishings were typical of this type of hotel. i had a good night sleep on my stayover on my trip. I will stay there again.

Hair in bed showers had no pressure

We have stayed at this Rodeway Inn many times in the past and our experiences have been good. This time, however, there were a few issues. The bathtub faucet handle had a substantial leak and the faucet flowed more water than the actual faucet. We complained and they "fixed" it while we were gone the next day. However, that night the same faucet dripped all night. But the main problem was that our room was not cleaned for our second night stay. We had the do not disturb sign on the door until appx. 11:30, when we left for the day. When we returned that evening, the room had not been cleaned. On our departure the next day, we complained to the front desk, we were informed that they only cleaned the rooms until noon. We advised that our room was available for cleaning after 11:30, and the clerk argued with us that it was not. He was rude and very uncooperative. I'm not sure we will stay here again.

Front desk was efficient. Room surprisingly quiet and good size. Carpets soiled, bedding old. Breakfast area untended, sloppy, not all machines working. Nearby restaurants fast-food or below average cafes.

The bath tub was cracked, spiderwebs on the lamps, mold in the fridge. Don't ever stay here if you can avoid it.

Bathroom smelled of urine and exhaust fan packed with lint/dust. Tub had an annoying drip. Bedding was worn with the bedspread having rips along the quilting stitching. Stayed just 1night.

The room was ok, in desperate needing of new bedding. The mattresses under the bed sheet were dirty and torn. The sheets were stained, and although the man at the front desk gladly exchanged them the ones provided were not much better. Consideringbwhatbthey charge a night , they could invest in new linens and beds.

The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was very freesh and good

Stayed here to go to Magic Mountain, room was clean and quiet, good freeway access, good rate, and I appreciate that they allow you to cancel if necessary. Will stay here again the next time I go to play!

This is a stay if you need to stop place. It is not a destination spot as Castaic is no treat. Essentially it's a truck stop. The room was adequate, everything worked, but it was about 95 degrees INSIDE the room when I arrived and took a couple of hours to cool down. It was clean. The silver lining is that there are some sweet restaurants nearby.

I didnt mind it as we were only sleeping..But at 230am a bunch of people decided to walk passed our room yelling,laughing and being loud and woke us up..THEN the person above us was walking around their room at 3am quite loudly as well...Back and forth for about 20 minutes. I know it wasnt the Hotels fault..And we were only there for the park but we were amazed at the rudeness of the people also staying. I dont think we will be staying there again.

Very clean staff was nice and breakfast was good. Nice hotel for price.

It was inexpensive. It was comfortable. We were able to cool off in the pool as the weather was over 100 degrees. Nothing plush or fancy here.

The room of course looks better in the pics. The mattress sets did not match, nor did it stay on the box spring. You certainly do not get the feeling of cleaniness from the room. When we arrived at our room of course the door keyes did not work. There was a maintenance employee close by that opened the door, the staff was cordially. Spend a little more and go some place nicer and know I am.

We chose the Inn as a way station from one point to another. The room was fine, but since there didn't seem to be many guests, the room was incredibly hot and stifling, and a whole night's worth of airconditioning did not get it down very far.. Staff OK, room clean enough, but not comfortable because of heat. Castaic is major truck stop but we knew this before and were'nt upset.

This hotel was inexpensive, within 5 minutes of Magic Mountain and had a lot of food options nearby. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. The room was pretty big, nice that it had a couch and coffee table. The negatives: it's a truck stop type area so not the best neighborhood. The remote was broken, the shower head was missing, the box spring was dirty (the bedding was clean and smelled good), there were poorly patched holes on one wall. It was good for what we needed, don't know if I'd bring kids here though.

This hotel is not well maintained. It is in an iffy area with lots of truckers. We chose this hotel because it was supposedly close to magic mountain. Not! It was definitely not worth the price paid. I have stayed at Rodeway Inns before and this one did not match up. Disappointed.

I will never stay at this motel again.

This hotel was basic, but clean. The staff were helpful. It had a good breakfast and was close to restaurants and Six Flags. Cheap Six Zflags tickets are at the front desk as well.

This is a decent place to crash for the night. It's pretty much a truck stop, lots of big rigs around here. There's some convenient fast food places to eat as well as a 7-11 at the corner.

Hotel is in an ideal location right off the 5 freeway. I cannot speak for other rooms because we requested room to bring our pet. Quality was not the best. The room smelled as if it has but shut up and packed away for a long time. The linen are very old and not appealing and some redecorating is in order. Guy working at desk might have been friendlier.

The hotel was the least expensive one around so it was not to bad for the money

Overall it is a little over priced what it offers. It's a bit creepy since it's at a truck stop. The amenities provided that was stated in the description were NOT provided such as hair dryer, microwave, etc. If they drop the price by $20/night and rewrite the description then it will be fine.

needs renovation bad, not as close to six flags as id like.

This hotel had a bathtub that didn't drain, a mattress that felt like a box spring, blankets with holes in them and a little pool. Also, they ran out of breakfast one hour before breakfast was over including waffle mix.

Very reasonable price and clean hotel. Very close to Castaic Lake. One problem is that there are mosquitos in our room. I can hear mosquitos at my ear at night and my kids got bitten all over. The next night we put smashed garlic all over the bed, it scared the mosquitos away. We would stay here again... we'll bring garlic of course. In fact, we are planning to come back next week. Try to use the lake as much as we can during the summer.

Limited access to 2nd floor and walkway so narrow that the maid cart blocks you from carrying your bags past it. All in all a good value.

1. Bed mattress lopsided and slanted to one side, so the person sharing the bed was sliding off of the bed. Springs poked through the mattress. 2. Found maggots on the opposite bed 3. Tube did not drain well at all, taking a shower and bath at the same time is not cool. 4. Inadequate parking, narrow driveway, lots of truckers made getting and out difficult. Had a room with no parking place on Saturday night. GOOD news is the night manager gave up his slot. 5. Entered into computer as cash and tried to collect on a bill already paid in full with a credit card the night I checked in. 6. Two sets of towels for three guest not enough. 7. Sheets with sand and not changed after first night or second night. 8. Automatic lights turned off during a shower. 9. Shower head broken 10. frig sat o the floor,which was not clean, and temperature setting did not work (freezing food). No coffee pot in the room.

The hotel may be nice, be we had an awful experience. The lights are motion censored to shut off if noone is using them, but ours had gone haywire. The bathroom light would turn on if you moved by the front door and the bedroom light would only stay on for 5 minutes. Maintence people were unable to fix it and told use that there was nothing that they could do. We had an iron but no ironing board. The pool has no specified hours and our room was next to it an we could hear people swiming and screaming in the polat 2:15AM. I got no sleep. Would not recomend

The hotel was decent for the price. They did have a waffle breakfast with juice, toast, milk, coffee, etc which was nice. The fridge in the rooms though were terrible. Super tiny and the shelves in the fridge were all broken so that sucked. comforters were a little dirty (but i never sleep with them anyways cuz motels are KNOWN for not washing their comforters). The shower head is also VERY short so dont expect anyone taller than 5' 3in, to stand in the shower, cuz you will have to squat. Other than that they were ok. Not anything fancy, but if your on a budget then their worth it.

Choose this hotel because it was close to Magic Mountain and had outdoor access. I would much rather have given up those luxuries to have a better motel. Beds were horrible, sticky spots on the carpet... Just not what I expected... oh not to mention the guy at the front desk who used cuss words while I was checking in. Could have a been a tad bit professional. Will stay some where else when I go back to town.
