Courtyard by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Beach - פורט לודרדייל

We were happily surprised how much we liked the hotel and the location. Had a great time.

We stayed in a great room on the 5th floor. We found taking the stairs was much faster than the elevators, so we were able to get our cardio in. The staff was wonderful!

This hotel is a 1/2 block from the beach and all the shopping of Ft. Lauderdale. We were happily surprised at the hotel and the pool overlooks the beach with a staircase leading to the main drag, a bar and a nice band playing. I was concerned about the pool from the pictures on the website but was very happy upon arrival. The pool was not heated though so cold which was disappointing. The rooms were great and the staff worked extra hard to ensure the 6 of us had the right size rooms on the same floor. The breakfast buffet was very good also and was included in our package.

Great position , close to restaurants , night life and beach . I had a problem with the plug in the bath , which was swiftly and efficiently rectified by their maintanance guy , Fred . I would definately choose to stay again , especially as I heard many people on the cruise I joined complaining about their pre-cruise accommodation .

Bed was not so comfortable. Views were good on harbor side and beach. Pool and surrounding areas were nice. Bar was a little pricey (4 cans of beer = $16+tip). Parking at $29 / day+tax at hotel was a little much. Breakfast bar was good. Right across the street from the beach. Beach chairs available from local vendor at $10/day per chair and $20 per day for beach umbrella.

Pricey but worth it. Within a block of the beach and within walking distance to restaurants, bars, etc. Great place to stay.

The room was nice, clean, and had every accommodation including a fridge. The valet team was superb. The only complaint we had was when we walked in around 6 pm there was no one at the front desk and two people waiting to be helped. It took a good few minutes, maybe five, before I asked the concierge if someone was at the desk or if we should be redirected somewhere else. A guy came out, and didn't make eye contact once. He even asked for a license and credit card even though they were already on the desk. Very unprofessional attitude, but the rest of our stay was pleasant.

The most appealing aspects of this hotel are the very accommodating staff members and the spacious rooms that were very clean. The hotel itself (entry, restaurant and sitting area) could use an update (seems dated and could use some fresh colors). I thought the room rate was a little pricey but my stay was in the peak season.

I choose Marriot's for my stays mostly because I find the quality consistent. For the most part that is true here, but I did find the elevators had constant issues (while on them no less). Next suggestion is not easy to fix, but feel like I should say something, the pool area is very poorly designed, given the orientation of the building to the pool it is almost continually shaded as well as the area around it poorly designed.

Spent day before a cruise and it was the best thing ever!

Very nice stay. Close to beach i.e. just cross the street. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would stay here again.

Great hotel with superb service. The only issue I had was poor wireless Internet service. Good connection strength but poor throughput. Definitely would stay here again.

very comfort , clean and located in good area close to the beach and many restaurant .i chose this hotel for my valentine night and worth it . :)

I came from the airport, flew through an ice storm, and came down with a cold, lierally on the flight! Came to that front desk, a bit earlier than check in, and they could not be more gracious and kind! From the staff alone, I will be back!

We stayed a day and a night waiting to our next plane to Oregon. The hotel accommodations were very nice and pleasant, it has nice views, the beds are so comfortable. It is located in a convenient location with lots of places for good food. And we loved the convenience for walking along the beach.

What a nice surprise. They upgraded us to a ocean view (no charge). Watched the cruise ships leave harbor. Very clean. Staff was very nice. Great location to shops, bars and resturants. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Fabulous location, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful view of the beach from our immaculately clean room. We will definitely be staying at this Marriott Courtyard again!

I stayed here 2 nights on business. Staff was friendly and accomodating. The hotel was clean and everything worked fine. The outdoor patio/bar was also rather nice, and the location is excellent. My main complaint is the "business center" - do not be fooled! There are 3 computers in an alcove that have EXTREMELY slow internet connections and seem to be constantly having technical problems. The printer worked, but barely. I did not see any ability to scan/copy. If you really need to use a computer or copy/print, do not count on this place.

Staff was very attentive and friendly. Our 1-king bed room was a corner and had a wonderful partial view of the beach and surroundings. It was very clean, quietly working A/C, and good shower. The only 2 things we were surprised with is that the toilet paper was located at a spot hard to reach and one has to literally get up to be able to get it. Also, the room (nor the vending machine/ice dispenser area) does not have any bottle openers so we would recommend customers to bring their own bottle opener. For these 2 reasons, we rated 4 for Condition or maintenance of the hotel. Other than that, everyhing was perfect, including breakfast (part of our package) - we enjoyed a freshly made omellette with great service as well. Location of the hotel could have not been better. All the activities we were interested in were at a walking distance so we did not use our car, which we left at the next door parking lot (and we saved 1/2 the hotel rate!). We will definitely come back when we have the opportunity.

we would stay again very nice hotel

Hotel was great. Had one problem once we arrived I checked in and went to my room which was two queens size beds and I paid for one king size was very upset that I wasn't notified. I called down to the front desk to see what happen to my room that was book when I was told that there was some overstays-which meant there were guest that stayed more nights than they booked for so my room was taken.. I was furious that I had not been notified and that my husband and I had to sleep in a small queens size bed. I called Expedia to complain and after I was done we received free breakfast for our stay half off for parking and we were moved to a king size suite for the rest of our stay.. But the rooms were spotless and very very nice!!!!

The service at the front desk especially from the manager (Lance or Vance?) was terrific. They made our stay pleasant and they were very professional. Your staff at the bar area by the pool was excellent as well. We booked for the location but we will return because of your service.

I found a nice Lil getaway spot. Beach view close to night spots very comfy.

Very nice! we had a corner room that had floor to ceiling windows on two sidesof the room! We could see the beach and ocean from the front windows and the harbor with all the cruise ships from the side windows!

Waited and waited during their happy hour at their beautiful outside bar. There was one bartender and she was also the waitress and bus person. I got the bartenders special drink, it was good. The evening "special" was also half priced appetizers.... no menu though... no service.... no appetizers. The concierge recommended a restaurant across the street for dinner. One appetizer, 2 dinners, 2 cocktails and 2 glasses of house wine.... $100. We paid extra to have breakfast at the hotel. Slow and fair.....

Friendly service, great view, close to the action, across the street from the beach....Every thing you could want.

beds and pillows not that comfortable - were at HH prior and MUCH better,......staff wonderful ...convenient for our needs working at FLIBS

it was good , very clean, has an excellent location but for the money we paid looks like the room must be more fancy and with more amenities.

I had booked, and paid an ocean front room, and did not get it. When I went to the for desk to ask about my "ocean front" room, they told me was full

What they don't tell you when you book is that parking is limited to valet parking for $29 per day with no alternative (plus tips everytime you go in and out of course). On arrival there were no towels in the room so I called down once and after two hours at the beach and returning to the room I called again. I finally got the towels by finding a room attendant in the hallway. Before going out to dinner I requested that the sofa bed be made up. When I returned a few hours later the bed was still not made up so I called again. After a while I went down to the lobby and asked that the sofa bed be made up.
