I was terribly disappointed. It was less than clean. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls. The mini fridge leaked all over the floor so the carpet was soaked when we woke up. The conference room was being used as a storage facility and there was no way to get to the pool without going all the way around (we did not try the pool because I was too scared to.) The man at the desk acted like I was bothering him by walking in. The continental breakfast consisted of frosted flakes or raisin bran cereal or frozen waffles (that were thawed in a plastic container) or prepackaged honey buns. The orange juice and milk were in gallon jugs in a mini fridge and the coffee was terrible. There were someone's dirty socks left at the edge of one of the beds from a previous customer. The only plus was that it is halfway between Kemah and Galveston. Next time we will be staying in the La Quinta across the street!

The room had an unpleasant odor to it, maybe because the ac was not working 100%. We were looking for somewhere cheap for the night but not like this. beds were hard, for what looks from the outside to be a new place..the inside just did not seem to be maintainted..went a block down the road not much more a night....alot nicer

we had a very nice stay, was close to the beach about 10mintues, would stay thier again

We stayed at San Antonio, Galveston, and Great Wolfe during our vacation. Texas City is 10 min away from Galveston Island Beach with 1/3 of the price. Fishtales on 25th+Seawall was great food right on the beach!!! My son and I even surfed with a rented surfboard--41st +Seawall. Only at hotel to sleep but we also swam in pool or ocean. Walked around corner Taco Bell + Mac D's right around corner.

May 2011 - We stayed here one night on our way to Galveston to go on a cruise. We were looking for something inexpensive with two queen beds, something you can't find in Galveston. We were very disappointed the minute we drove up because it was really run down with only one car in the parking lot (not a good sign). The outside lights that run the length of the front above the sidewalk were bare bulbs with no structure around them, just big open holes. There was a 1-inch gap under our door and bugs in the bathroom. Will never stay here again!

Hotel was clean. Night clerk was fantastic; very friendly and helpful. He gave us extra blankets towels etc. Breakfast included cereal, toast, milk and juice, and waffles. Decent place for families and close to beach.

Our stay here was AWSOME!! Cleaness and The housekeeping was GREAT!! The room was very cold(which we like). The area was very convenience to all the local grocery stores and restaurants!! The morning breakfast was great, with great company. The hotel staff was very helpful of locations on what we were looking for. As for location its in the middle of everything, no need to drive far!! I will be coming back to this Hotel with my family!! THANKS FOR THE AWSOME/GREAT STAY FOR MY FAMILY!! We were there for SpringBreak!!

I was working at one of the oil refineries which made it convenient. Employees were very polite and helpful. Recommended place to stay at and location is close to Galveston Beach. Excellent experience!!
