Inns Of Virginia - Arlington - ארלינגטון

I, and my guests, enjoyed this hotel. It's just what we wanted, for one night, and met our needs and expectations regarding our comfort. The beds were quite comfortable and the room was clean. What was exceptional was the customer service; the front desk receptionists were lovely and made us feel valued. Great stay! I would recommend this place.

I stayed at this hotel because its very reasonably priced. Atmosphere is sort of sucky but if what you need is an affordable, quiet room within a mile and a half of downtown Arlington, it does the trick.

It was OK. Nice front desk people.

First of all I would say the people are very friendly and helpful. I specially thank Janet ( front desk lady, when I checked in) was very helpful. The room I stayed was pretty clean, bathroom was clean . The carpet was not very clean but what you can expect more in DC area from a hotel that costs ~$100/ room. They have free parking which is rare. Convenient location from all major sites. Breakfast was ok, Coffee was good. Again you have to understand that its not a luxury hotel. Overall i was happy with the service provided.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, mine was a bit on the small side but adequate enough for me. I loved having the refrigerator a microwave! The staff was helpful and pleasant. The hotel was nice in a great location, if you're looking for a place to sleep without tons of amenities that's close to D.C. this is the place for you.

Nearly all the outlets in the room were out of order,it was really disappointing. But the frontdesk clerk was extremely friendly and I like the distinctive room decoration.

Rooms are relatively smaller, microwave makes noise all night.

Staff was friendly, responded quickly to my requests. All expected basics supplied including a coffee maker and refrigerator. Room was clean. Hotel just converted to non-smoking as of April 12, 2013 so those who are sensitive will still detect the smell. Free parking; there is easy access to Metro via a twelve minute bus ride to Rosslyn Metro (1.9 mi). I walked to Courthouse Metro several times (1 mi). Neiborhood just off Lee is mostly residential and looked safe to me, several stores and restaurants within half mile on Lee Hwy.

Staff are excellent and very helpful; this is the strongest characteristic of the hotel. Hotel is clean and reasonably freshly decorated. Excellent power showers. Breakfast is a little uninspiring. Biggest drawback is that it is not near a Metro station.

The bus is served by bus No. 3A which stops at Rosslyn (Metro) Station, which makes travel to attractions easy. We enjoyed our stay there.

The reason to stay here is price and location. You can jump on a no. 3 bus that runs on Lee Hwy in front of the hotel and go to Rosslyn to catch either the Orange or Blue Metro lines into D.C. Also, a walk or bus ride down to the business districts of Virginia Square, Claredon, Courthouse and Ballston is easy for having dinner. The neighborhood is a safe and pleasant suburb.

The location is really nice, convenient, quite. People working in front desk are friendly and helps me lots. Thank you.

After getting a new room the stay was fine.

The Inn was wonderful. Great views, great rooms, and all at an affordable price. My only complaints are that the Inn is not located around any Metro stops (though it is located down the street from a grocery store and other shops) so we had to take cabs everywhere (which can get costly), and the continental breakfast was lackluster (limited and rather unhealthy options). Other than the semi-inconvenient location and unsavory food, it was a very pleasant stay. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and the rates are reasonable.

Though the rooms are small and the sound of a noisy neighbor can carry, the place is fine for a brief stay if economy and cleanliness are the goal. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is no more than coffee, a piece of fruit while it lasts and a packaged muffin. Good location for getting in and out of D.C.

Good value, good location, friendly service, would stay again

Clean and neat. Breakfast offerings meager. Can't eat all that sugar. No cereal.

It was fine for what I needed - but the breakfast is pretty pitiful!!!!

We were very pleased with the amenities and quality of this hotel for the price. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Our room was small, but clean and comfortable. Free wi-fi is available. The continental breakfast consists of coffee, juice, fruit, and packaged pastries. Hotel is conveniently located with a few restaurants in walking distance; many more just a short drive away. I thought we were "settling" on this property because many other hotels in the area were sold out on the night we needed, but instead we were so pleasantly surprised by the Inns of Virginia that we will definitely stay here again when we return to Arlington.

The staff at Inns of Virginia were very helpful and courteous. The hall smelled of stale smoke but the room was very clean and the heater worked very well. When asked, the staff gave very good directions to the subway and local busses. Well done Inns of Virginia. I will stay with you again.

Not a top-notch place but good deal for the price. It was clean, comfy, had a (sort of) continental breakfast, was walking distance from where I needed to go, and the Internet worked, so that added up to a good stay! Only downsides was the walls are thin and staff & other guests can be kind of loud. I always travel with earplugs, luckily.

For the amount of money the room cost it met all expectations. It's a no frills type of place but for this trip that met my needs.

The room had a terrible smell, and not enough air

HOTEL PRICE GOOD VALUE AND VERY SATISFIED WITH CLEAN COMFORTABLE ROOM AND GENEROUS SUPPLY OF CLEAN TOWELS DAILY. BREAKFAST ADEQUATE AND HYGENICLY WRAPPED MUFFINS AND DANISHES WERE DELICIOUS.FRESH FRUIT WAS A WELCOME PART OF THE BREAKFAST. BUS STOP TO ROSSLYN METRO JUST ACROSS ROAD FROM INN AND FROM THERE A DIRECT TRAIN TO THE SMITHSONIAN BUILDINGS ON THE MALL.EVERY FEW MINUTES.

We have used this hotel before. The rooms are small but do have refrigerators and microwave ovens. The beds are reasonable but are getting old (squished where people sit and watch TV). It is inexpensive for the area and has close access to public transportation.

I strongly recommend that guests thoroughly inspect the overall cleanliness (particularly around the boxsprings of the bed) of the room as soon as they're checked in.

Clerks were polite but disinterested. The bathtub/shower had significant mold in corners and seams. Every room had a "No Smoking" label on the door, but the smell of cigarette smoke was pervasive in the hallway. The driveway entrance is a steep hill-climb from the street and the hotel entry from the parking lot is not evident. This hotel seems to be about eight miles from everything, and is located in a difficult to find, hard to get to and from part of Lee Highway (Route 29).

I would have appreciated decaf coffee being made available.

The restroom door needed to be pushed hard to be closed properly. The front-desk lady was not friendly. There was strong smell of smoke in the walk-way, though not in the room.

Okay if you need a place to crash for the night.

all was good , only receptionist was indifference to answer the questions

When we got to the Inn they informed us that they had overbooked. They offered us a smoking room and allowed us to go and get a feel for it. We were traveling with our 2 kids, so we declined because of the smell of smoke in it. Once we said so they gave us a nonsmoking room and said they would handle it as first come first serve. Even though we got the room we wanted if we would have gotten there late we probably would have ended up in a room we did not want.

good value-easy access. If you run/bike ride-very close to trail system and Roosevelt Island, good wi-fi

The hotel was close to city but they put us in a smoking room even though I had booked a non-smoking room over a month ago. They told me they don't have a non smoking room available. So with a 5 years old daughter who suffers from asthma, we stayed in a room that smelled like an ash tray and it got worse overnight when all the smoking guests had left room doors open for ventilation. We had to use 4 sets of puffers and it was the worst experience I've ever had. And the breakfast was Danish cookies and coffee! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Everything was good Ok for short visit.

Hotel is clean, with the exception of the carpets in the rooms. They've seen better times. The air conditioning in the rooms have a hard time keeping up with the summer temperatures. Overall though hotel is well kept, staff is friendly and responsive. Neighborhood seems fine, though not much in way of restaurants in immediate area. Very convenient to I66. Very basic hotel at a basic price point.
