Close to highway and shopping. Clean and comfortable, but interior dated.

Bathroom and tub needed makeover

Overall great, breakfast very good, beds need updating, only have double beds and are not comfortable

Room was very nice. Breakfast was okay. Waffle station was the best part. Unfortunately, the scrambled eggs were very dry and looked like they hadn't been replaced since the breakfast had started 3 hours before I ate breakfast. Nice assortment of fruit, yogurt, and juices, so the egg situation was not a major problem. Nice desk for my laptop and internet use and having a sofa in the room was a wonderful plus. It was enjoyable to be able to relax on a sofa instead of just having a bed and straight back chair like in many hotels. I will definitely stay here again.

I was delighted at how nice the room was. So many hotels today advertize with beautiful photos online and then you arrive to find a dirty, worn and outdated furnishings. This was not the case this time. Everything was very nice and I'm always excited to see a bed that outfitted with cushy, beautiful bedding. Makes it feel so luxurious. The only thing that seemed a little outdated was not seeing a flat-screen TV, but I'm sure that's an expensive update for so many rooms. And the room had everything you could need. I liked the way the frig and microwave were tastefully tucked away inside a wooden cabinet. You didn't even realize that's what it was until you opened the door of the cabinet! I also enjoyed that the check-out time was 12 instead of 11am!

Clean convienent

Very pleasant stay. I had one concern regarding the bathroom. The tub appeared dirty. I called front desk and a staff person came immediately. He said the tub had been repaired and only appears dirty. all staff was very nice and service was very good. Location was excellent.

One phone didn't work. Only one bed made up one day and bathroom not fully cleaned or supplied with fresh towels.

Very noisy neighbors, slamming doors late at night and again at 6am. Two complaints to the front desk with no known action.

Great location, convenient to where we needed to be on both sat & Sun. Only drawback was for such a hotel, only 1 laundry room with 2 washers. One was broken down already and the 2nd died during my 2nd load of baseball uniform pants for our team. But Yulia on the front desk called Hector from maintanance. Hector came and helped me by taking the wet baseball pants to the hotel laundry & washing them! Was very appreciative & grateful for the quick response & help! I would stay here anytime!

Polite staff very convient location off I-64. First walked in room slight musty smell nothing dollar store air freshner can't take care of. Would stay their again.

On one occasion, the room was being cleaned at 4 pm. When we arrived the cleaning person asked us who's birthday was it. She must have been reading the card on the desk. I was very uncomfortable with that. The bathroom was never thoroughly cleaned, just fresh towels. The main door was broken so we had to slide automatic doors to enter the building.

Enjoyable, close to shopping, Places to eat, and fun things to do together. The staff was great and we enjoyed our trip!!!

The hotel was dated. The musty smell in the room really turned me off. Breakfast was good but again there was a strange smell in the lobby area. This may have beencoming from the repair work they were doing in the office. I was glad to check out and breathe some fresh air!

Halls smelled like cigarette smoke. Room smelled a little musty, but overall it was a comfortable stay for the price. Great location.

Great fitness Room

We were a little apprehensive considering the price, but as we had to make reservations on short notice (next day due to a funeral) we were delighted to find this hotel to be well equipped, excellently serviced, easy to get to. A fantastic breakfast too! Even with a team of young basketball players also staying :-D Would definitely stay there again.

This hotel had a bad odor on the 2nd floor.

Despite aged appeal this hotel was great.

Check in was simple. The room was clean and comfortable but the bathroom door would not shut. The door was split and would not allow the door knob to latch. I called the front desk but nobody showed up to even look at it. Traffic was heavy on the main road leading to the hotel entrance. Staff was okay. It was close to Ft. Eustis which is where my son is stationed. Oh they actually had smoking rooms.

The bathroom was not clean--the tub held water after a shower and was not clean--

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. Were in town to take our child to the local University. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was very nice. Small hotel but convenience to the University AND walking distance to mall and restaurants made the stay very convenient to our schedule. We have already booked for College Move-In Day and Parent Weekend!

Love the hotel!! It was just to far from the parks with all the traffic! Between exit 256 and exit 242

We had a really great stay here. The rooms were very clean and very comfy beds. Very convenient to shopping and places to eat. Only 25 minutes to the Williamsburg outlets. Nice outdoor pool and plenty of seating. Breakfast was a dea little skimpy but there is a Waffle house right across the street. I wouldddefinatly stay there again.

The room was supposed to be non smoking, however there were cigarrette holes in both comforters and a smokey smell...like someone had tried to clean the room/or opened the window after a gust smoked in the room. The room was hot, but the room cooled of some several hours after the ac was cranked all the way up. The ac did not seem to be on in the rest of the hotel, so it was also really hot. The bathroom floor and bathtub were also not clean.

We stayed there two weekends in a row for consecutive baseball tournaments and enjoyed the hotel and the staff very much. Everyone is friendly and responsive. No problems at all.

We had a wonderful time. Staff was pleasant and room was clean!!

Everyone on staff from the person at the check-in desk all the way through the housekeeping AND a very pleasant maintenance man was EXCELLENT and represented your company beautifully. Customer service is alive and well at this location and you should be proud of them. We were there for a baseball tournament...and am going back again to the same place THIS weekend again for another one. Wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Great service and staff. Breakfast was a little tight (small space) but fresh and good enough! Standard room, decent WIFI. Didn't use pool, but looked better than most. It's not a flashy place, but for the $$ hard to beat. Plan to say again next time I am in the area. Only negative was less than "clean" smell to bath room/shower....but that could have been just a single room issue...will report back after next stay..

Staff was friendly. Breakfast was small but tasty. Carpeting needs updated. The fitness center is top notch! We would recommend this hotel and definitely use it again. The location was terrific.

The hotel could use some updating, but overall it wasn't bad for the price and we would stay again.

Loved the hot coffee and tea all day long. Loved the warm cookies. Loved the breakfast choices including the yogurt and fresh fruit. Only complaint was mattress leaned to the right and fell off about three times. lol.
