Older ...needs updated soon....breakfast was a quick danish or waffles just enough to get you going down the road....pool not working...rooms were clean but outdated....staff friendly....

overall iit was great for the priceandroomloveit,but the location i feel was bad because the entry was between a pizza pland a gas station,so you had too really look for the entrance,and i think because of the base ft.hood was the reason for the location,and it was a very busy location or street,but i will be staying again.thankyou

I thought the lady at the front desk was awesome

We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights at Christmas to be with our Military Son and his family. We cut our visit short rather than stay in these 2 rooms another night. We brought a dog, this was suppose to be a "pet friendly" motel. They told us where to take our dog to relieve herself, it was overgrown weeds as far away from the motel as they could get. The rooms smelled, the sheets wouldn't stay on the mattresses and the pillows were flat as pancakes.

This hotel is a good place to sleep. It's cleanish and the staff is good. I wouldn't stay longer than a weekend. But it's a good place to sleep

Nothing fancy but clean with firm mattress. Excellent value for the traveler on a budget. Owner very friendly and helpful.

The best rate in town

The front desk was very helpful and courteous. The swimming pool is the size of a jacuzzi and it should state that.The room was fitting for the price. the neighborhood was a little scary but we just needed a place to sleep and the room was clean.

Very please with service and hospitality

The room was ok and clean for the price but ........ the ac unit was VERY noisey. The grounds were unkept, trash and debris all around, beer bottles, etc. Very poorly maintained and picked up. Pool area not the least bit desireable.

Very clean room. Comfortable bed

My girlfriend and I had a pretty comfortable stay at the Roadway Inn and the price for our room was very affordable.

The hotel is accessible, easy in-out to the interstate. The problem is that a train runs through the back of the hotel, and its horn last for about 7-10 minutes. Extremely noisy. Our AC unit quit in the middle of the night, and only worked in the fan position. Otherwise, the bed was good, the place clean, and breakfast was also good.

Not the prettiest hotel, but very comfortable. Staff is great, free breakfast good. Clean rooms & a comfortable bed! We stay here every time we have to visit Fort Hood. Worth the rate.

When I first saw this Hotel I was less than happy. But the Room was clean and the TV was old but worked. It is in the center of town. but a short drive to food and entertainment. For the price it was worth it. If I had to I would stay there again. Bring your own towles because theres are paper thin.

We stayed two nights at this hotel. I was so impressed! It was way more than I expected for the price. The room was big and very clean. There was a fridge, microwave, hairdryer and iron in the room. The beds were comfortable. Inside and out, it was extremely clean and well-kept. The staff was super friendly and helpful, giving us suggestions about things to do in Killeen. When we got there, I asked for a room on the ground floor, and they changed the reservation I had made to accommodate us. I will definitely stay there again. I was pleasantly surprised at the service and amenities. You get the same you would get at a much more expensive hotel.

It was not the nicest hotel that I have been to, but it's hard to beat for the price.

Not a bad room for the price, if you are only staying one or two nights.

Nice and clean big comfy king size bed nice furniture in room. Very nice and very polite staff we had trouble with tv stations and wifi not working so I called desk and they imediatley fixed the problem.

I found the hotel room to be very clean and easy to get to. The staff was curtious even when they had to tell my husband that he couldn't check us in without me present because I made the reservations. We found the breakfast to be extrodinary for the hotels price. and it even had fresh waffles you could make for yourself. The breakfast was the very best part ,for the amount of money I paid for the room,: I wouldn't of believed I could have received such good accomodations.

Room was clean, although age of hotel is obvious. Bed was comfortable. Check in & out simple & quick. Friendly staff. Overall good experience.

Room was clean. Bed gave us a good nights sleep. People were friendly.

very comfortable, well maintained room, substantial brkfst included, more than adequate television channel selection, and close to shopping and places of interest for us.

it was a great hotel for a short period of stay not for long period of time it was descent no problems friendly staff and convience to the east gate

The staff was very friendly and provided great customer service. The room was cleaner and a lot nicer than those hotels in the same category. The only two drawbacks were: a) the plumbing fixtures need to be updated. The stoppers in sink and bathtub were old and loose, I had to pull them out. b) there was no safe in the room to secure my valuables.

Hotel was decent but in a bad location.

Has an active train track directly in back of hotel; use the ethernet cable to hook up to the internet - wifi connection is not good. Older furnishings but clean room, very close to Ft Hood gate. If can deal with these things good place for price for BRIEF stay.

A good value for the money, with an endearingly retro decor, comfortable bed, coffee maker, fridge, microwave, and hair dryer. Good selection of tv channels for a budget hotel, also. My major complaint -- and as a business traveler, it is a significant one -- was being unable to get a wireless Internet signal within my room. I had to go to the lobby. Two maintenance issues: the tub hadn't drained from my shower by the time I checked out, and the sliding bolt was missing from the door.

Hotel needs updating but not bad for the price, room was comfortable and clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. The only set back would be if your on the backside of the hotel, you'd hear the trains roaring by!

Couple running the place was really nice and helpful. We got a great tip to go to visit Salado too. Rooms were really clean and beds comfortable. I'm gonna stay here again when I visit in Killeen.
