The staff were very courteous and the free morning breakfast was great especially since you could take it to your room. They were also very reasonable when it came to our golden retriever and our needs for her.

The hotel was great. Nice location and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

This is by far the best hotel I have stayed in in the Halifax area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was excellent and a great start to two very busy days. With the new technology they have, getting our room door open was a snap! Parking is free too! What a pleasant change from other hotels!! The location is close to restaurants, coffee shops, service stations and the major malls are only a short drive away. PERFECTION!!!!

I had asked if the pool& hot tub would be open on 2 occasions , once the night before my stay , I was told "all was in operation". The hot tub was closed with a sign on it. This did not make me pleased.

We stayed the night with our granddaughter the first time at a hotel with us.We enjoyed the pool,hot tub and breakfast we all had a great time and will be back again hopefully with the granddaughter again she really enjoyed the stay.Thanks for a comfortable stay

Good location, just off the freeway from the airport. Breakfast was complete and varied daily. Somewhat noisy, but our room was next to the stairwell and exit door.

Worth the money, breakfast was ample and good enough. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub are disappointing. The pool is small and cold. No jumping or diving. The hot tub jets hardly work. It is a good location if you are shopping at costco type stores, but 10 - 15 minute drive to downtown.

A very good stay..fairly close to airport, well kept pool complete with towels, change room, etc.... excellent breakfast..really liked the 24hr coffee/tea i n lobby, helpful staff

Excellent hotel, very helpful at the front desk, clean rooms with quality beds and bedding, no noise, convenient location, good value for money. Would stay again when in Halifax. Nothing negative to say!

Breakfast was the only bonus of staying here. Hotel was way too far out of downtown core.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express was good. I couldn't get my e-ticket to print and the gentleman at the receptionist desk helped to to try and figure it out. The room was spacious and comfortably. The only thing that we found wasn't good was that there was too much noise in the pool area. It was close to 10:00 P.M. and there were a few small kids in the pool making alot of noise, their parents were with them but didn't try to quiet them down. We will most likely stay at this hotel again.

We stayed at the hotel because it was in a convenient location close to the highway and where we were going. The pool was very relaxing after a long day. Having the breakfast in the hotel is an ideal way to start the day.

We really enjoyed our stay and the continental breakfast was the best we've had.

really loved this hotel... the front desk was friendly, hotel was clean and i could not beleive the morning buffet ... so good... worth it!!!! would definitely stay there again if i am headed that way. Highly Recommended!!!!

We needed a hotel for one last night on our trip close to Halifax airport. This one worked out fine. Great breakfast in the morning, but the place was packed and they were slow to refill items that were used up quickly by the kids in town for a national softball tournament. The room and bed were comfortable. We had difficulty navigating from downtown Halifax to the hotel, so we called them for assistance. Two folks at the front desk had no idea how to direct us. They should know the basics of getting to their location from the major city next door.

Nice to be so close to a highway, and area was nice and quiet. Prefer to the hustle of getting to and from a downtown hotel/motel location. Very clean and staff were great. WIll stay there again on our next Halifax trip.

The staff was very accomodating, and eager to make your stay an enjoyable one. the rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. Overall it was a quiet hotel. The breakfast bar was not what we expected from a compilmentary breakfast. It had many choices and was an enjoyable meal and a great way to start our day.

Great breakfast - lots of choices!

The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and the location was great. It was only a short distance from the Halifax waterfront. We had a great time in the pool.

the hotel was great with services provided being very good. However, our bathroom stank from the moment we got into the room until we left. We told the cleaner, and she did her best, but it's time to replace the bathroom (at least in this unit!). It was truly disgusting to have to use a bathroom that smelled like stale urine, especially with 3 small kids!!! Not acceptable for a hotel of this level.

I really enjoyed our stay, it was the second time that we had stayed at the hotel, the warm breakfast was very good...stayed in cape breton last year..the hotel's breakfast was bad to say the least...cold, everything. Keep up the good work, thank you for our enjoyable stay

Very good and profesional help from front desk . Hot tub really sucked but nice pool.

It was super clean, the room was extremely comfortable. No complaints besides that if you miss your exit, it takes forever to get back on track!

The room was dirty, there was food left in the fridge, there was food on the floor, and there was an Orkin bug catcher under the bed. The elevator was supposed to be fixed within the hour it did not work for the entire stay. The pool was grimy. I would not stay again.

WE WERE THERE FOR OUR SON'S BASKETBALL JAMBOREE AND IT WAS ON THE SAME WEEKEND AS HIS 9TH BIRTHDAY = THE STAFF WERE KIND ENOUGH TO LET US USE THE BREAKFAST AREA TO HAVE CAKE WITH HIS TEAM MATES0 AND THEIR FAMILIES THAT EVENING - IT MADE HIS DAY EXTRA SPECIAL - THANKS FOR EVERYTHING

When travelling with three kids the most important aspect of a hotel for us is the quality of the pool. Although the pool is not overly large, it is extremely clean, well maintained and the ventilation is the best I've experienced. We have had to leave the pool at many of the competitors sites due to poor ventilation affecting my asthmatic kids. We stayed pool-side for hours without any issus. The value was extremely good as well, much lower than any competitors in the area.

I was pleased that we chose this location. I just found it a little noisy in the morning as the children were going to and from breakfast.
