The room was new, very comfortable and a great bed to sleep in. The breakfast and especially the breakfast staff were great!!! Love the set up of the breakfast room with a fireplace and all sorts of comfy nooks to curl up into with iPad, iPhone, friends, etc. and enjoy breakfast. The staff was superior with their fancy large screen with maps, restaurants, etc. Wonderful! Will stay again.

I found that on a recent trip to Poughkeepsie that My daughter and I had taken that this hotel was very convenient to the area. Hotel lobby was lovely but the elevators were on the complete other side of the hotel so we walked up a flight of stairs. I generally like the excersise but I can see it could be a pain for some. The hot tub was not working which was disappointing and the fact that you had to buy coffee from their cafe after a certain time and not just get for free, a little over the top. The customer service was wonderful thou and anything that went wrong was fixed almost immediately. The maintenance guy Jose was extraordinarily helpful and has my full recommendation as the "employee of my stay ".

Great stay during our thanksgiving holiday . Very convenient to everything. Pool well maintained. Friendly front desk.

Hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. Fan in bathroom didn't work and wanted more blankets for the bed but were all out. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay!

I have used a variety of hotels in my travels. I was impressed with the level of staff attention I from checking until i left. The breakfast was delicious and the woman who took care of it was fantastic.

Having just stayed in a new Marriott Fairfield Inn with modern decor, an old Courtyard seems quite dated. Nothing to complain about but needs an update.

Newly remodeled and surpassed expectations. Bistro (a new concept) was open until 10 p.m. - served decent wine and healthy light fare (for dinner and breakfast) , lobby very welcoming - I sat in the lobby with a glass of wine and watched TV - and that's a first!! My room was spacious and bed linens were comfortable. Pool and jacuzzi were clean, fitness center was well equipped. Staff were friendly. They recommended an excellent restaurant 2 miles away (Crew). I always stay at Courtyard by Marriott, but this one was truly a standout.

Nice lobby but dated rooms.

I think I could have spent my hotel dollars more wisely. Not at all impressed with this Marriott Courtyard. This is an old motel they've tried to spruce up and pass off as a better one. Clearly they spent money on the lobby putting in the Starbucks "bar" but the rooms are still old, low ceilings, tiny baths and the furniture was moved to put in a wide piece of furniture so ... if you want to watch TV, you lie in bed and have to turn your head. Mattress was very hard and flat. Cheap and cheap pillows and bedding. Totally failed in my opinion. Will reconsider Marriott Courtyard in the future. The Hampton Inn the night before in another city was far superior.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was great. I think for the price, breakfast should be included. Close to shopping and VAssar

I love the new restaurant area. Good food and great service.

First room assigned smelled like cigarette smoke and had connecting room. Next room assigned was comfortable, did not smell and did not have connecting room.

Close to Marist where we were visiting. Nearby restaurants were good. Room was comfortable and clean.

Love the new digs

For an overnight stay we had very good experience. Very kind staff, very clean and well kept. Overall all we needed was at an arm reach.The mattress was on the firm side and i had a stiff back in the morning.

Love the new look and new food/bar area.

I mean, look, it's a Courtyard Marriott. It's not exactly a high-end piece of luxury. But as far as what a Courtyard Marriott CAN provide, this one provides it well. There is one problem, and that's the apparently paper thin doors and walls that allow you to hear juuuuuuust about everything going on around you.

Hotel under renovation so some areas were not up to final condition. No value in that rooms do not have amentities of similar pariced units in other chains. bath is only marginal and not up to superior cost hotel of this stature. Some promlems with service at reception desk

End of August 2011 was my third stay at this hotel. The carpet on parts of the first floor were damp from possible flooding after Hurricane Irene. The staff was doing all they could to improve the situation. The lobby cafe is very nice - you can buy dinner here, or a really well-made coffee drink. Courteous, professional staff. Clean room, nice beds, big flat screen TV. Can't do better for the money.

We were treated well and the room was immaculate. The pool was nice,the landscaping was great,the workout room was good.We were especially pleased with the food,way above our expectations. We plan to return and would be glad to recommend this hotel.

we spent one night here on a weekend and had a great time. standard rooms with flatscreens. really enjoyed the balcony, our first-floor friends had sliding glass doors to the outside. there was a pool, but it's not visible from the road.

We only had an overnight but everyone was very friendly and the room was very well kept, clean and in fashionably good taste! Thanks

Comfortable and convenient to what we were visiting in the area. Not a place to spend a week, but 1-2 nights is fine.

Very nice hotel. Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Staff was courteous.

Several areas of disappointment were notable. The hotel receptionist recommended a restaurant that did not meet our expectations. The hotel was under construction and was difficult to get into the lobby. At 7:15 in the morning the hotel had a pressure problem that set off the fire alarm. We needed to evacuate with a piercing alarm in our ears without being fully dressed and stand outside for 15 minutes or more with under 50 degee weather. It was very frightening and uncomfortable. No hotel staff came over to inform us of what was happening. We had to search out hotel prsonnel! The alarm did not stop until the fire department came to turn it off.

It was clean and cozy. Perfect for families or couples. Pool was great and service was wonderful. Def a good deal.

Overall the room was fine, except it was covered with dust as if not cleaned or kept up regularly. I expected more from a Marriot.
