Clean and comfortable 3-star hotel for circa €60 night, close to the business district and Santiago Bernabeu stadium. The tourist district can be reached very easly in 20 minutes using the closeby Gregorio Marañón underground station or using the any of the buses running frequently through the nearby Paseo de la Castellana. Only noted some decorative imperfections in my room...I guess NH hotels budget must have also been impacted by the ongoing Spanish recession...I recommend internal rooms to avoid the traffic noise of the rooms with a view

Enjoyed our stay in the clean rooms, the bed sheet didn't smell so clean but overall I give it a 7out of 10. Breakfast was pricey though. Short walk to the metro and near the Real Madrid stadium by metro.

Near to the train station, the neighborhood was good, far from the city, and other thing they do not have doble bed it was two twin bed together.

This hotel provides very good value for money. The staff speaks English which is very good. WIFI in room is not for free. However, you can have free 128KB WIFI in the hotel reception.

The hotel was conveniently located in Salamanca neighborhood, which is one of the best ares in Madrid. Location is perfect and 1min walk from Gregorio Maranion metro station (30 mins away from airport via 10 and 8 lines- 1 stop change to 8 line from 10) Also by cab it will ont cost you more than 7 euros even with night fare to any hot spot in heart of Madrid. The neighborhood is quiet, safe. There are lots of cafes for breakfast, lunch or dinner. However, there are no close supermarkets to buy water, etc. The closest one is one stop with metro line 10 to Alonso Martinez. The store is called Vips. Hotel staff is friendly, speak English well, internet is fre ein lobby with 30 min sessions. If your room is close to lobby (1st floor or 2nd floor) you can use log in from your room. I had a standard room and it was clean and pleasant to stay in. The only remodeled rooms are superior rooms but the old ones are very nice as well. All the touristic spots are also very close by metro (10-15 mins). Overall I recommend this place for stay in Madrid based on price performance. My other area of suggestion to stay would be a hotel in Argueles district.

I would not stay at this hotel ever again. The room was so small and the window opened to a wall so no light came in the room. It was very depressing. There was no Internet in the room and only 1/2 hour free in the lobby. The restaurant was closed except for a very expensive breakfast and there was no place in the area to eat because in August everyone leaves for vacation. There was however a very nice bakery on the corner and the woman who owned it was very friendly and the food was great. I left Madrid for a week and on my return I went to the Sunotel hotel which was so much better.

The hotel staff are not so friendly. Upon our early morning arrival the staff at check-in did not attend to us immediately once we arrived at the counter. Staff wear grubby uniforms. Reception staff did not/did not want to speak English - maybe ok in a pension but not in an international hotel chain. Internet using the computer at the premises is very expensive - €5 for 15 minutes. The breakfast is overpriced and not worth a fraction of what you pay. The toilet seat had worn away to the metal underneath. Shower is located in a uncomfortable position in the bath. The window blind did not work correctly which mean that the early morning sun is directly in the room.

Falha no sistema de calefação dos quartos que segundo o gerente era consequência do projeto antigo de tubulação, portanto, ficamos sem aquecimento durante toda a estadia, enfrentando baixas temperaturas.

La habitacion daba a un patio pequeño, oscuro y sucio.

Zurbano ligger inte centralt. Jag och min man valde olika vägar till sevärdheter och det var roligt och spännande att kunna se en hel del av Madrit på det sättet.Själva hotellet är ganska sliten, särskild badrummet. Men det var rent ändå. Ingen utsikt fick vi men det var tyst på nätterna. Frukost serverades i en närliggande byggnad och var helt ok fast priset var alldeles för hög, tyckte vi.

Confortable aamplio silencioso céntrico y eficaz

Habitación tranquila, pero pequeña. Buen precio del aparcamiento. Nos ofrecieron el desayuno en oferta, pero a la hora de la verdad tenia el precio normal.

Bien en limpieza, buena atención, la habitación un poco pequeña y sobre todo es un hotel bastante viejo, no suficientemente renovado.

El hotel fue mas de lo que yo esperaba. Lo unico incluiraia en la tarifa el desayuno, obvio a un precio razonable. 9 euros es mucho

Muy buen hotel y bien situado

VIEJO, DESCUIDADO, ME MANDARON A UN EDIFICIO AL LADO MUCHO MÁS VIEJO...CAMAS SUPLETORIAS EN LOS DESCANSILLOS DE LA ESCALERA..PEDI MATRIMONIAL ME DIERON TWIN SIN AVISAR...Y PARA COLMO, OLIA BASTANTE MAL.

Nuestra estadía en su NH (Zurbano, MAD) fué realmente satisfactoria en la casi totalidad de los aspectos. No conocíamos esta parte de Madrid por lo que fue simpático caminar los alrededores, a pesar del calor infernal que hacía durante nuestra estadía en Madrid en su hotel. Les estamos agradecidos!

Boeking was onder een andere naam geplaatst, voor dat je dan zover bent ben je zomaar een kleine 3 kwartier verder. Ontbijt ronduit slecht! Koude koffie... brr slechte start van je vakantiedag. Parkeergarage mag de naam niet hebben, wat een verschrikking! Badkamer deur kon niet op slot. Verder is de locatie 10 min buiten het drukke gedeelte van Madrid. Weinig uitgaansgelegenheden in de directe omgeving.

Si bien la estancia no comenzó con buen pie, de tres luces del dormitorio que nos asignaron, solo funcionaba una, dimos el parte en recepción y nos fuimos hasta la noche, sin que lo arreglasen. Nos cambiaron a una suite (por las molestias) con lo que consiguieron unos clientes satisfechos.

Facil llegar y a un paso de casi todo.Magnifico buffet y personal muy atento .Nos ofrecieron subir la categoria de la habitacion por un suplemento, pero no valio la pena .Llos alrededores tranquilos pero con joyas escondidas.Volveré.

Das Hotel ist ein typisches 3-Sterne Hotel. Es ist nicht besonders gut, bietet aber auch keinen Anlass zu meckern

Anzitutto la struttura non è vicina al centro storico: occorono oltre 50 minuti a piedi per arrivare a Plaza Puerta do Sol. La Metro è vicina ma in ogni caso occorre sempre cambiare almeno due linee. Le stanze sono ordinate e il cambio biancheria viene effettuato giornalmente, ma l'Hotel è sporco e disorganizzato: ad esempio per fare colazione bisogna uscire dalla struttura attraversare una strada e entrare in un altro edificio. Il personale alla reception è scortese e poco professionale: alcuni di loro non conoscono altra lingua che lo spagnolo (ho provato a parlare loro inglese, italiano e francese, senza alcun esito!). A causa di un loro errore di registrazione, per tre giorni di fila abbiamo penato affinchè ci riconoscessero la colazione inclusa che avevamo anticipatamente pagato con la camera: ogni mattina, regolarmente per tre giorni, ci hanno presentato il conto della colazione (38 euro x 2 persone!). Quest'ultima, poi, seppur a buffet, è un'altra delusione: i camerieri, estremamente scortesi, puntano i clienti affinchè consumino velocemente e poco. In particolare, uno di loro faceva commenti personali sui clienti ad alta voce. In definitiva: una pessima scelta che non consiglio a nessuno!
