Room was nice and clean and nice breakfast--close to the airport--is a older hotel but served our needs-

The hotel is very easy to get to from the airport and well maintained. But it's right on the edge of the runway and many will find the sound of jets landing and taking off a little intrusive.

Great hotel; very nice and clean and 10 minutes away from the airport. I thought I might have left something behind and I received 2 calls from the hotel manager and room service manager regarding the item. Very helpful and nice staff. Would definitely stay there again.

Only stayed for one night because of a flight layover. I was looking for a hotel very close to the airport with good shuttle service. The hotel room was very clean, bathroom was modern and spotless. The shuttle service was also very good.

We arrived at PDX at midnight and needed to leave for our destination first thing in the morning. The bed was comfy. The room was a little musty, but was clean. The decor is out of date. Breakfast was good. The shuttle service was good. It met all of our needs for an airport hotel.

Nice layover for flight. Unfortunately, departure was too early to enjoy.

We had an early flight out of pdx and had to drive over the mountain...We were very satisfied, as usual, with your cleanliness, convience and service...we will continue to book with Hampton Inn when traveling...Thank You.

Stayed just 1 night...room was very clean and comfortable. My little girl loved watching the planes take off and every time you could hear one would run to the window. The sound didn't bother us but might bother others. Breakfast was awesome!

Probably the fastest check in from any hotel we have ever had. Great selection on breakfast and bed was comfortable. You may need those earplugs they provide.

A great place to stay if you desire to be close to Portland International Airport. Surprisingly quiet but just a breath away from the runways. Great shuttle service, helpful and friendly customer service--from the person that cleans the room to the front desk! Thanks!

There's something about a soft/luxurious duvet cover, big screen television and spacious guest room that we truly appreciated. We were particularly struck by the large lobby/atrium area that was also the setting for the continental breakfest. Also, kudos to management for the airport departures/arrivals screen (in the lobby) that had a live feed from PDX.

This was my favorite hotel on my trip. The bed was super comfy, the service was great. It was right next to airport and the shuttle was very quick - nice for my early morning departure. The pool was nice, and i loved the breakfast - good big fancy sausage slices, potatoes, eggs....better than the usual. I would definitely stay here anytime I was in Portland.

The hotel itself was nice and convenient to the Airport. It is right on the run way so if you are a light sleeper you would not want to stay at this location. There are no places to eat close by other than an very expensive restaurant at the hotel next to the Hampton Inn. If you do not have a vehicle your only choice is to order pizza.

Staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. It took a few minutes to drive to downtown Portland from the hotel, but it was very convenient for an early morning flight. I am picky about what hotels I stay in, and I would definitely stay at this Hampton again.

Had an early morning flight out of PDX and this was very convenient for that.

very clean room, comfortable bed, nice size TV and room for good rate. great breakfast options and had to go bags for early flight. love hampton inn!

The breakfast at The Hampton Inn is amazing - it isn't your usual - donuts and coffee breakfast.. They serve a full hot breakfast and often offer fresh squeezed orange juice or fresh baked goods. The staff is wonderfully friendly, cheerful and helpful. They respond to requests very quickly. There is a walking path nearby. The hotel is convenient to the airport but about 20 minutes downtown. However, I am told the hotel offers shuttle service downtown, although I didn't take advantage. I'd stay again in a heartbeat.

It was very nice. The only complaint...the breakfast wasn't very good. Was expecting more. Overall. A very nice hotel!

It's unfortunate there isn't a place to eat on the premises. I was traveling alone and didn't want to go to the Sheraton next door and eat dinner by myself.The gym is also at the Sheraton and I did use that. Front desk loaned me an umbrella so that was nice.The shuttle to the airport was pleasant enough and very close to the airport.

After a long day of driving, we were beat. The H.I staff were courteous and accommodating in getting us squared away. The morning crew, both for breakfast and for checkout, were also great. Liked everything about the hotel and would stay there again.

Close to airport

We had a early morning flight and the gals at the desk helped us get our boarding passed for our flight, then suggested the Grill next door for dinner which was yummy!!!! Our room was great and quite...next morning we had a great breakfest and then we caught the shuttle to the air port with plenty of time. All in all it was excellent....and the beds and sheets were awesome!!! Thanx, we'll be back!!!!!

This was an excellent stay. Everything was very clean and who doesn't like waffles, western omelettes and sausage for breakfast.

From the greeting to a clear desire to help, the front desk service was exceptional.

Hampton Inn's are great and this one is no exception. It was a very comfortable room and great service. Very close to the airport so that makes it a great place to stay if you are coming or going.

Never had a bad experience.

We flew in during the evening, caught a free shuttle from the airpport immediately, then had clean and comfortable accommodations. Even though we left at 4:30 am, they had to-go snadk bags available as part of their breakfast service. Again the shuttle service was quick and on time. This was very convenient way to finish your flights. THANK YOU!

Very responsive to all our needs. Offers shuttle service to airport that is less than 5 minutes away. Concerned about airport noise, but never heard a thing. Left early in am before continental breakfast serviced, but they had a to go bag with fruit, water and granola bar. Nice touch.

My wife and I flew into and out of Portland in order to spend a week on the Oregon Coast. We stayed in some "luxury" hotels during the trip and paid dearly for the "luxury". We booked the Hampton Inn Portland Airport as a last minute booking for our final leg before flying out. Not only is the hotel just a few blocks from the terminal; it was clean, the staff were helpful, the complimentry breakfast was good and the price reasonable. If we ever return to Portland we will definitly stay here again.

The hotel is very quiet in spite of being close to the airport. Earplugs were provided but not needed. Beautiful furnishings in the rooms and wonderful bed. The breakfast was very nice and the cookies upon arrival were a nice touch.

Comfortable, good amenities and value for money. Fairly standard motel style accomodation, well maintained and clean. Very well insulated, so despite being an airport hotel the noise levels were quite low. Only real downside was the pull out sofa bed which was very uncomfortable to sleep on. Main bed was comfortable.

The room size, furnishings, bed, bathroom were all outstanding. Bathroom is spotlessly clean, big and well lighted.. shower head works great! Good water pressure! Bigger shower area afforded by the arcing shower curtain rod was nice. The king bed was wonderful. The staff was very informative and helpful. The location was great since I needed to catch an early flight the next morning. And the included breakfast was very appreciated too! And the parking was very easy and free of charge. Hard to beat all this.

Hotel stay was great, we like the idea that they take you by shuttle any where you like to go.

It took 15 minutes by hotel shuttle from our room to the departure gate! Shuttle service was frequent enough that we didn't worry when we missed the shuttle we had planned to take. The room was larger than other Hampton Inn rooms we've experienced, and we enjoyed a comfortable sitting area with large tv. The price is always good, rooms always reliably clean. Good thing we set our own alarm as a back up though, because we never got our wake up call!

Bed is comfortable, great breakfast and easy access to the airport. We stay here everytime we are traveling.
