was great until i saw a cockroach in the dining room

The staff at the Sleep Inn were all very friendly. The rooms themselves could use some TLC - small things such a touch up painting where there are black scuff marks, clean of the air vent on the HVAC unit, scrubbing of the carpet and taking care of the caulk remnants in the bathroom. Also the HVAC unit was very noisy so I had a constant tug of war between keeping the room cool and having the room quiet enough to work and sleep in. Finally, a bit more variety in the provided breakfast would be appreciated. Like I said, some TLC, addressing some minor issues, could make this place an excellent place to stay.

I had to wait for someone to Check me in and also to check me out. There should be somebody at the front desk at all times.

It was Fiesta in San Antonio, so there were very few options to pick from for this stay. I read very mixed reviews but I really didn't have much of a choice, so I decided to book. Even going in with lowered expectations, this hotel was still a big disappointment. Yes, it's an older hotel, so you expect the rooms to have lots of wear and tear, but it seemed like everything they could have gotten right was done poorly. From the yellow, dingy towels in the bathroom to the cheap, lumpy pillows to the stains on the carpet, every single things about this hotel gives you the sense that the owners are pinching pennies at your expense. The room itself had two double (full) beds that were advertised as queen sized but definitely were not. The walls were very thin so we heard lots of kids early in the morning. All in all, this hotel is not worth your time at any price!

My only concern is thst the Iron did not work & I asked for another one & they did nothing.

Only complaint was breakfast bar was not what I am used to having; ie no cream cheese for bagels; no peanut butter for bagels; no scrambled eggs;

the hotel was ok for the price the hot breakfast was good beds were very soft i felt safe in the nrea and was close to downtown and fastfood.

Broken hair driver, no coffee maker.

the room was super clean, the staff very nice too! the location is great, we went to seaworld but also wanted to go visit the river walk, so it worked out great. I will be staying at this hotel next time.

Room had soggy smell when AC was turned on

Enjoyed staying here two nights w/my teenage son. Room was clean & staff was very professional & curtious. My son did say that the internet was very slow & needed to be upgraded. =)

I really enjoyed my stay here, I come to San Antonio all the time and this hotel was very convenient as far as being in the middle of everything so it always took me less than 20 minutes to get to everywhere in San Antonio. All of the workers are very friendly and the beds are very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel an individual or a family.

Quiet and clean room. Temperature control worked very well, heated the room to my liking quickly. Basic cable with HBO however it did not have the ability to order movies (wanted to rent a movie with my son) Comfy overnight stay for a bargain price. Breakfast was average. Overall great deal and Plan to stay again when needed.

Staff is fantastic! The front desk managers were very helpful. I had a concern about the first room and was changed quickly. I felt safe on the property. I appreciated having a mini fridge and microwave in my room but the room was a little wonky, bath area was small and had a pocket door, lighting was poor. Electric were not in the best areas for using my laptop, and I had to unplug the light on the desk to plug in the coffee maker. I felt that there had been a few short cuts to cleaning, the shower was OK, had mildew in crevices and corners, carpet could use hot water extraction, massage shower head was stuck on one setting,. Breakfast is better than most, a lite mix of hot and cold items. Would stay again for the right price.

The room was clean, it was small, but that wasn't an issue for us. It was less than 2 miles from the event we were in town for so it was perfect! The continental breakfast was pretty good, the staff was very attentive when they noticed something needed to be replaced. If I have the need to be in that area again, I will definitely come back! The front desk clerk when we checked in wasn't the brightest, but I won't hold it against the establishment.

Room was clean, spacious and nice, receptionist was very professional and sweet- only issue I had was with the ice machine. It worked poorly and there was only one. Besides that I had a great stay and will definitely use again!

motel was clean, staff really nice and helpful. price was great, best deal ever. would stay here again.

I had booked a queen no smoking room. When we checked in at 6 pm we were given a room with 2 full(double) beds and told that was all they had left. Towels were very rough and scratchy.

when we arrived to our room the toilet was backed up and nasty.went to front desk on way out to eat and told clerk of the problem with the toilet and he asked me if I wanted a plunger and i told him no it was not my job to fix their equipment , i dont work here.he said he would move me to another room.when we got back from dinner i changed rooms and the new rooms a/c did not work half the night.i did not go back to front desk that night to tell the clerk in fear he might ask if i needed a screwdriver to fix the a/c.absolute worst customer service i have ever encountered in all my travels. a little education and training would go along way for this hotel owner.

This was the smallest room I've ever sayed in. Barely room for our luggage. It took the A/C a long time to cool our room. Not enough electrical outlets. Tiny bathroom which needs updating. Was inexpensive but had I known this room was this small I would have stayed at another hotel.

The front desk clerk, both in the morning and the evening were very polite and helpful to me. I appreciated their friendly, cooperative attitudes. I did not like the fact that the housekeeping employee did not knock on our door prior to opening it, and barged in on us while we were disrobed. It was embarrassing to say the least. When I complained it was handled in a professional maner to my satisfaction. I will definately be back here, however, I think you should offer a discount when people end up staying for an extended period. Having to pay the jacked up weekend rates was unexpected and unwelcomed, but the price was small in comparison to moving to a new hotel every few days.

Very nice ! Breakfast was good too . I got to make a waffle in the shape of Texas ! Awesome !!

It was an ok stay. Good Location easy access to I10. Staff was nice. Beds were comfy but sheets were made sloppy the next day. Air conditioner worked. Small TV it was flat against the wall could not swivel it and the picture view was not good, loose wire I guess. Other than that, not too bad.

Enjoyed my stay in this hotel.. Best place n affordable for the location. I strongly recommended.. I would stay their again anytime..

it was ok

The hotel was only a short drive from downtown San Antonio, which was our destination. It's close to all of the main attractions, the room was nice and comfortable, and the staff was VERY helpful! We were a couple of 18 year old girls, going on a trip with not much money. Hotels.com didn't inform us of a second charge, so we were short 50 dollars for three days, which we needed to get back home. The staff was nice enough to offer gas money. We didn't take it, but we still very much appreciated the gesture. Definitely staying here again!

We have stayed at this motel before and believe it is well located for our stay in San Antonio and the price is good. Clean, friendly staff, quiet and a nice breakfast.

There was a weird smell in the room. Breakfast was good.
