Ramada Convention Center I-Drive - אורלנדו

Needs a major overhaul - very dated. Room had an unpleasant odour - glad we only booked two nights. Swimming pool needs a good clean.

I would never go back and or recommend this hotel to anyone!!!!

Too much furniture in the room. Hard to move around. Hair dryer did not work. Ice machine broken. Hot breakfast was available, but so crowded it was hard to get anything. Parking inconvenient. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Location was good..could walk to restaurants.

After driving for nearly five hours and not having much sleep the past three days, I really wanted to just check-in to my room and get to sleep before my flight the next morning without having any interruptions. Unfortunately, all of these goals were inhibited by the incompetence of the staff at Ramada. When I got to the hotel, I waited in the lobby for around 30 minutes before being attended to. When I was, I was treated to the same bad service the previous guest was. The staff did not know what rooms were available, whether there were any rooms available, or what rooms were clean. The cleaning staff had left, apparently, so for them that implies that nobody knows anything anymore. The staff would call the phones in the hotel rooms to see if they were available, not knowing any other way. There were scattered pieces of paper all around with room numbers that may or may not be available. When I finally got to my room and had gotten situated, I received a call from the front desk. THEY WANTED TO KNOW IF MY ROOM WAS AVAILABLE! Are you serious? And the next morning, while I was in the bathroom, my door was opened to see if anyone was staying there. Completely ludicrous.

The location and friendliness of the staff was overall good. The condition of the hotel was not!! There was mold in the door frame if the bathroom, The walls had water damage near the door and the room was cramped and over furnished with useless decor.

Furniture old and too big. Towels stiff. Electrical outlets did not work. Not enough parking.

The floor mats were not as clean, looked very old. Cold air leak from the bathroom always there while using potty, uncomfortable. TV may be from may be 18th century...come on can they not upgrade the TV's and the microwave's? Furniture and refrigerator were good. Beds were very old and soggy. Pillows some of them were okay & some of them were very gross, with drooling marks from other people, pillow covers needs to be washed better or replaced often. I did not use the pool there, it was dirty, but the climate also was not good for using the pool anyway. But pool needs to be clean and it is small too. House keeping was good. People at the front desk/reception were good and friendly. Breakfast was good. Shuttle services is the worst...it is not just RAMADA to the site seeing place, the shuttle service is a big bus, where the bus stops in three or four places (different hotels). It was very crowded, people standing pretty close to each other. The bus had a nasty urine smell...(not clean at all). Never used it again after first bad experience. TAXI servies was good at the front desk. I had to use the taxi services and spent another $100 on top during my three day stay. At RAMADA shuttle was only once in the morning and once in the evening!!! OVERALL it was not worthy to pay more than $100 per night. I would say around $60-$70 is okay for this hotel.

The room was clean and nice we only stayed there for 1 night but I would stay there again. Their breakfast was hot(eggs, bacon, and sausage) food they just need a bigger spot 4 the food but it was ok. They also had muffins, bagels, and cereal

Had a nice stay, first room had no heat was moved to another and it was a better room. Dont stay in the100 rooms they are small and less atrractive. Overall good stay

The hotel was nice, clean and a very good price. The location was perfect for a swim meet at the YMCA. The only problem was all the lights in the room. The microwave, phone, fire alarm, sprinkler and clock all had blinking lights that were a bit distracting when trying to sleep. So if lights bother you, this is not the hotel for you.

Seemed clean till we found the coackroach.

Got to hotel late on Thursday, attendant was not proficient on the computer. Overbooked, but i did eventually get a room. Bathroom was very dirty, vents clogged with dust. Shower was also dirty. Knowing that the area was all booked, needed a place near Convention Center. Noise from highway made sleeping tough, as well as the in-window air conditioning unit.

Room 1: the a/c didn't work. Transferred to another room: hair dryer didn't work and kept sparking off. Upon checkout they didn't know I was transferred to a different room and neither of the two front desk employees wrote down the maintenance issues for repair (for the next Guest).

For the price it was perfectly acceptable. I like that they have an arrangement with the YMCA next door so you can work out. The only issues I had were that the TV was an old, small tube TV with a poor cable connection, and there was no toilet paper anywhere in the room. However on the same trip I stayed at the Clarion closer to the convention center and it was nicer and more up-to-date for less money.

My room had been slept in and the next room they gave me was uncomfortable as well. I recommend doing a overhaul of the place. It was nothing like the Ramada I have stayed at.

Booked the hotel on hotels.com 3 days early, when i went there they say all rooms are booked and they opted to stay in a room where aircondition is not working. Next day they switched to different room. Over all maintenance is not so good. Rooms are too small , some of the lights won't function, when i complained they say they will take care in the morning and nothing happens..stayed for 3 days. Won't stay in this hotel in future.

The room was horrible. TV was broken, AC was broken, I asked for a queen and got two full beds, shower barely spit out water although it was plenty hot. Would not recommend for a visit lasting over one night.

It was nice to have a real breakfast included with the room.

Excelent cleanliness of my room

This hotel is good for only one night stay. This service is good. There is a parking area and it is free also wifi. It provide free breakfast but the area where guest have their breakfast is not enough, in fact you need to wait for a while to find a place to sit. For the price, it is too high for this hotels. In additions, the staff are friendly and kind. They help when needed. The location is attractive and close to many good restaurants and shops.

I attended a 3 day convention nearby. The hotel is located in the midst of all the big Orlando attractions. There is an attraction ticket booth convenient in the lobby. I basically used the Ramada for sleeping and eating breakfast. The three story building looks reasonable on the outside. The lobby area is small and not that fancy. The breakfast sitting area seemed too small at times, although the food was decent. Visitors tend to pack their bags with stuff to take with them so they run out quickly on some items. My room was pretty decent, although dated. Everything worked OK but the beds had sunken in mattresses. The room came with frig and microwave, good TV. The free Internet service is OK, sometimes slow. Overall good value for the price. Two main downsides were 1) unheated pool (no hottub), and 2) poor condition of internal hallways. Walking to my room the first time I was afraid I had made a mistake; the carpets were very bad, moldings and doors chipped and peeling, elevator very small and raunchy. But inside the room things were OK.

Clearly little maintenance taking place here. Carpets stained, musty odor in one room. The shower dripped all the time. The sink tap lever just rotated through 360 degrees and shed some gunk into the sink, some water came out but you couldn't set it to any temperature. The staff were helpful and did move me and the location is good but management do not seem to look after the place.

on the spot location, price excellent no complaints

This property is relatively close to the Convention Center and Universal, approximately 1/2 way between the two, about a 20-minute walk to OCCC. The other reason I selected it was that I had stayed at Ramada previously and had a pleasant experience. This property, however, needs attention to its physical condition. The first room I was assigned had an air conditioner that was overly noisy. The second, while sufficient for my purpose, needed a thorough cleaning: the rug was filthy, and there seemed to be a problem with mold, causing my nose to stuff up. Also, the desk chair and television were worn and needed replacement. The bathroom had a build-up of dirt in the corners on the floor. I knew I would not spend a lot of time in my room during my stay, so I tolerated these deficiencies. The one bright spot was the substantial hot breakfast included in the price of the room. I did expect a better standard, however, from a Ramada hotel. Next time, I'll stay elsewhere.

This is my first review, felt like I had to write this review . My husband and I stayed there only one night so I didn't feel like changing rooms once we checked in. First of all when we tried to check in it took over 30 minutes, mind you no one was in front of us but the guy that was at the front desk kept answering the phone and making us wait. Second when we finally got checked in the room he gave us was a handicapped room,so the shower and toilet was very hard to use. It was just a really horrible experience. Never again.

Okay for the price. Grreat location, but it is showing its age!

Everything was good. But the Bathroom does not extractor and the Bath looks oxidated.

Everything was good except a most Air conditioning. Housekeeping very attentive. Thank You Darina.

The hotel is dated with cosmetic damages (i.e., stains on carpet, water damage, caulking falling apart). Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Breakfast included (waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, bagels, toast, cereal/oatmeal, yogurt)...decent quality, but gets crowded with people the later time it is (as any other hotel). Location was great,...in the middle of I-drive so you are in between Seaworld/Convention Center and Universal/Wet N' Wild. Plenty of places to eat nearby. !! Do not use the hotel's recommended taxi service: it is cash only, and the driver adds on his own charges (i.e., pick up at 4am for airport). Also, during our stay furniture was moved out of and into our room without our knowledge. Which means that they moved our personal belongings (i.e., underwear, makeup) out of the old furniture and then placed them in the new furniture (mixing our belongings up). We should have been notified that this was going to happen, and then we could have also moved our belongings ourselves.

My stay was full of extremes. One day I dealt with a great staff, the next day the staff knew nothing. There was no working ice machines, the air conditioner never cooled the room under 79 and the beds were uncomfortable. That being said though the hotel was very clean, the breakfast was solid and the location is terrific. Overall I had a good stay with some minor irritants, but if you need a last minute hotel near the convention center this isnt a bad pick.

It was a good hotel and close to all Orlando has to offer. Would not hesitate to book again. Walk to resterants and Ripley's Believe it or not. Trolly to everything!

I am very unsatisfied with my stay. I had to switch my room 3 times because the air conditioners were broken. The ceilings were full of mold. That hotel needs an inspection urgently! Overall, I am never staying there again.

The Ramada did not live up to the Ramada name. We chose the Ramada over other local hottels based on the Ramada name, however it did not live up to our expectations. Our room was dirty, walls were marked, carpets stained and wet. Soely in need of an upgrade.

My first room was moldy/musky smelling. The front desk took care of getting me another room right away. It was better but not fresh smelling. The room was a king as I requested but very small. The tv took up most of the top of the dresser. The refrigerator and microwave worked well which is the reason I selected this hotel along with the price. The hotel was packed with guests on the first morning and they needed more than one person trying to prepare the breakfast. While I was able to get a sausage patty while my toast was being made, I stood in line and finally was able to get some eggs about 15 minutes later. The 2nd morning we didn't have as much trouble getting our breakfast but we were in the lobby right at 7 a.m. The room was tended to daily with no complaints but we did not like the small pillows.
