The Econo lodge Inn & Suites was very clean, recently remodeled, & a very nice place to stay while in San Antonio. The suite was large with a seperate sitting area, a refrigerator and a microwave. The continental breakfast was juice, coffee, large waffles the shape of Texas, muffins, etc. very delicious. I recommend staying at this motel.

Very good service room was in great condition close to fort sam houston river walk and malls vist for sons ait graduation will stay there when ever in town felt very safe.

This is a great hotel with fantastic staff. Can't figure out why this only has two stars. Room was clean, also shower and toilet.Having a refridgator and microwave was very convent. This is also about five minute from downtown San Antonio, this is great.

Hotel was affordable. It was nice for what i paid.

It's not bad. The room is a good size and includes a fridge and microwave. The staff allowed us a late check in (we arrived around midnight and someone was waiting to let us in). The pillows were fairly flat and uncomfortable, but everything else was decent. Better than other hotels I've stayed at for this price.

Was good for what I needed.

It was not a place I would like to return to. I saw a dead cockroach in the room.

We went to San Antonio this spring break and we stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Overall the place is clean (room, shower,floor, counter top,etc) except for few strands of hair I've found when i lift the very top blanket. The bed is clean though,and the rest of the sheets. The parking lot is well-lighted. the breakfast has few choices only. there is no cereals or fruits served. Overall our stay is okey. I will recommend it to my friends because with the rate, you get more compared to other hotels

We've been showing at the SA stock show for 8 years, and I finally found a motel that was clean, close, and quiet! Best motel around if you're an exhibitor - or even if you're not. I also left my Kindle in the room when we checked out, sent them a mailer, and they sent it to me. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed my stay here. the rrom was clean and comfortable. the only problem i had was one of the managers was the rudest person i have ever come into contact with. He has the worst customer service i have ever seen. He actually raised his voice and was yelling at me when i went to ask him why they had double charged me for my room. I never want to experience than again.

Might have been nice several years ago but now is run down and nasty and unfriendly.

I have no complain. You got what you pay for. And I got what i was expected. Overall Excellent. Continental breakfast was okay. Staff was very helpful in providing information about surroundings. Suggestion: Staff should smile a little bit more..... like if they enjoy to talk to people!

The hotel was fine I would stay there again. The breakfast was not that great but it was ok. Other than that I thought it was fine. I did like the that there was a safe in the room for our valuables.

GREAT ROOM FOR THE PRICE AND CLEAN TOO.....EASY TO GET TO AND FROM DOWNTOWN

Our family of 4 stayed here for a week. We got it because of the price not the quality but it was okay. There will be young adults partying every now and then but there weren't any issues while we were there. The breakfast is very skimpy, a waffle maker, oatmeal packets and some muffins. The room was clean and the outside pool looked okay but we didn't use it. It's 5 minutes from downtown driving on the highway and maybe 10 if you want to use the side streets.

The only thing we we're really upset about was the fact that our door would not lock. You could push it open when it was locked. We told them about it and they moved us to another room and then gave the room to someone else, without fixing the lock. We had left all day before we realized the lock was broken, Thank goodness no one went in and took any of our stuff.

Really close do Downtown and The Alamo.... Nice for the price....Not much right around the highway...Most definately need a car to get around.

We picked this hotel at the last minute and were surprised. It was clean and comfortable. We didn't get to try the breakfast but I did see a waffle maker.

This hotel was a great deal. In a good area for Ft Sam and downtown not far. Room was clean and comfortable with AC. Internet was Fast. no complaints!

I guess you get what you pay for, right? This place was a joke. We had paid for a non-smoking room and the room they provided smelled like someone just got done smoking pack after pack. The staff were unwilling to work with us in getting a different room. There were spiders and cockroaches all over the hotel room. I wanted to stay in an inexpensive location that was close to downtown. In the future, I will pay the extra $10/night to get a decent hotel.

The continental breakfast was very limited and although I specifically requested a room on first floor at time of booking they did not have this available. Keep in mind that check out is at 11 am and I did not arrive until 1 am so I cannot believe that no one from the first floor checked out at all that day to have my room available per my request.

If you are looking for a decent hotel that is quick to get downtown, this is the place. The staff is really nice, this is the third time I have stayed at this hotel and it's been fantastic!

I was not too happy when the employee that checked us in was upset that we had gotten a "good" deal and make him lose money. I don't think this was necessary. I might think twice about staying there. For the price he wanted us to pay, I would have rather stay at the Riverwalk!!

This hotel is nice and convenient to AT&T center and downtown access. The staff was friendly, no irons in the room, got one at the desk, the rooms are clean, and comfortable. I will definetily stay there again. The basic thing that I find it uncomfortable, is that the AC unit is turned off and it takes several hours for the room to cool off. If the room is going to be used, maybe they can turn the ac unit at low cool, because the room was very hot.

very clean and comfortable room - staff difficult to find - breakfast area way too small, breakfast selection very poor - the neighborhood is dodgy to scary - few towels and the request for extra towels was met with some incomprehension, although we did end up getting more towels in the end - the rate was very good compared to the size and cleanliness of the room (we had a king suite) but the neighborhood more than explains the rate

Very convenient to downtown San Antonio. Neighborhood seemed OK, but really just walking from parking lot to room. Noise wasn't too bad - surprising because it's right off the highway, but sometimes other doors closing rattled a bit. A small fridge and microwave, but no coffee maker or mugs (and alarm clock didn't work). Room seemed pretty clean. No problem with the staff - although they did call my room just a few minutes after checkout at 11 to ask if I was staying another day (I wasn't). Beware - the parking lot is pretty beat up. Overall, it was fine - inexpensive motel close to downtown that served its purpose.

location was great, not fancy but clean & affordable

The room was clean, modern, and at the high end of what you would expect for a hotel of this style. But the neighborhood, breakfast, exterior, etc, were all uninspired.

This hotel is very clean and the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was terrible. I couldn't drink the coffee. There was no cereal - just bread and a waffle maker. I recommend this hotel as long as you plan to eat breakfast at the nearby Denny's.

Bed sheets were crisp. Mattress was a nice pillow top. Bathroom was clean. Front desk was helpful and nice. Continental breakfast was kinda sad. Overall it was a great deal for the price.
