Brugge is really nice. Very touristy when we went though. This place features a very friendly and helpful staff. Its’ at a great location right on the south of the town. We parked below then walked all over the town. Loved the fact that they had children’s play areas both inside and outside the hotel. Highly recommend this place for families with toddlers!

As the name of the hotel suggests, it is at the heart of Brugge, close to all the main tourist spots and walkable from the train station (10-15 mins). There is a convienent store located right across the street from the hotel for you to stock up on some water, fruits or snacks. I was amazed at the size of the courtyard and hotel when I first turned into the hotel from the main street. The streets of Brugge are usually small and narrow, along with small shops on the sides. I did not expect a hotel to exist on this street if I was not looking in particular for it.

2 adults + kids of 10 and 12, spacious room, great location (10 mins from the centre and shops / restaurants all the way from the front door). Also only 10 minutes from the train station. Breakfast buffet v good (loads of fresh fruit)

We stayed at this hotel on New Years Eve. The best thing about this hotel is the location, because it's only a 10 minute walk to the train station. It's also a 10 minute walk in the other direction to the very center of town. The staff were polite. The only odd part of our experience was that we had reserved a room with two standard beds and we later discovered our bed was actually to twins put together. Very strange but we didn't bother the front desk as they were extremely busy and overwhelmed on New Years Eve. The room itself and bathroom were clean, but the overall look of the rest of the hotel was a little rundown. It didn't really bother us because the location was ideal for what we paid on NYE.

A good family hotel with short walk to main market square. Secure parking under hotel, 24hrs for 9 euros.

We thought this was a great hotel with a wonderful location!! Will stay there again!!!

Very friendly staff allowed us to check in early which was great. Rooms very good standard and clean. Breakfast was really nice with a large selection I would defiantly book there again

The good thing about a Novotel is that you know exactly what you're getting. It is a nice, clean hotel in a good location - half mile from the train station and about half a mile from Markt. Our room was spacious and had a sofabed and bed. I had a cracking night's sleep as well - and isn't that what it is mostly about? The highlight was the staff. We had interacted with a number of them and they were all super-nice. They tried their best to make our stay relaxing and pleasant. I cannot say enough about how great they are. The lowlight was the coffee. While the bartender was really nice, the coffee was appalling. That is because they don't use a real espresso machine - not the bartender's fault. However, who chooses a hotel base on coffee when there a gazillion cafes within a mile from the hotel? You can tell I am struggling to find fault. My top tip is to skip the hotel breakfast. There are a heap of cute cafes in the area which will do a better breakfast for half the price.

This hotel is centrally located - fairly close to the train station - about 0.5 miles and within 0.5 miles of the principal sites in Brugge. It is a typical Novotel - clean, up to date, everything works,utliitarian. The internet worked well and is free. There is a car park next to the hotel but I cannot furnish any details as I had no car and a car in Brugge is a hinderance

Great location, very friendly staff.

Our fourth stay in this hotel, and we would not dream of going anywhere else when visiting Bruges. Central location, clean, comfortable, excellent staff and a wonderful breakfast. What more could you ask for? Friends who came wiith us for the first time were very impressed and would certainly return. Excellent deal withhotels.com which included breakfast. Book it now!

Hotel was a solid - OK. Lift is pretty old and the decor looks a bit dated along with the dirty carpet. Rooms were pretty basic. Doors to rooms are thin which allowed alot of noise in. Luckily we were on a quiet floor so this didn't bother us too much. It was a bit disgusting to find a squashed bug in the net curtains though. Breakfast is expensive - would highly recommend going to the CarreFour opposite the hotel or one of the nice cafes on the street. The Bed was pretty lumpy but we slept okay on it. Location wise: its a good 10/15 minute walk to the square where the Belfry tower is.

Enjoyed it would stay there again (or in the cheaper IBIS directly opposite) though breakfast was expensive- would have liked shower and fridge to have worked when we got into the room - maintenance fixed both after we complained but the room should be 100% fully funtioning on arrival - staff pleasant - linen changed every day - overall satisfied.

Very pleasant stay in the Novatel, staff very good but carpets a bit tired and only one cardboard cup in the room for making tea/coffee which was poor for a double room. That apart enjoyable stay

A modern, well appointed hotel within easy walking distance of all of the main sights. Good choice at breakfast and free wifi. We will be back! Bruges is gorgeous.

Superb hotel in superb venue

Excellent hotel at a great price. We enjoyed using the outdoor pool. Good breakfast and helpful staff.

Visiting with two teenage daughters and all happy with hotel!

We loved our time at the Brugge Centrum Novotel. We caught the train and walked to the hotel. It was an easy 10 minute or so walk past fabulous sights and sounds which made us want to dump our bags and get out and explore the city! The hotel is quiet and private, yet you step out onto the street and you have a fantastic walk into the centre of the city past fabulous chocolate and waffle shops. Horses and carriages continuously take tourists around the cobbled streets...very picturesque!

Great location, friendly staff. Booked a non-refundable double room with a sofa bed, got free breakfast for myself, wife, 5 yr old boy, + 3 yr old girl. They slept on the fold out bed, we slept on the bed, no extra charges for the kids, no hassle, free breakfast for all. Even if you have to pay for bfast, kind of expensive, 20 Euro pp from what we gathered, kids eat free. Bfast was good. Very nice town to visit, very relaxing.

Just what we needed for bringing a fantastic camping trip to an end. A hotel car park would have been even better

this was our first trip with children and the hotel staff helped it be a smooth one

Finding the hotel was okay, and parking was underground directly beneath the hotel (approx 8 euros for 18 hours). Hotel rooms not as large as expected, but okay for 2 adults & 2 small children. Outdoor pool was fab and was very welcome after a day of travel! Location of hotel meant it was close to lots of small restaurants, although on a Sunday most close at around 6pm. Some lovely sights around the hotel. Staff quite friendly, had no problems securing a cot immediately. We didn't opt for the breakfast, too expensive at 20euros per person, but there are lots of coffee shops close by for waffles & a latte! Would definitely go there again, and would recommend to others. Good value for money.

The hotel was a standard chain hotel in the heart of Brugge. It is set back from the street and we found it to be very quiet. Our room was fine for a family of 4, with the sofa converting into two adult sized beds. As you might expect the food and drink prices in the hotel were expensive but this did not matter as there were plenty of alternatives on the street outside. There is a large underground car park under the hotel which cost 8.90 euro to park for 24 hours. For a healthy individual all the sights are within walking distance. Top tips: Cafe Cafe just up the street towards town for breakfast. Watch out when crossing the road by the hotel: although the street outside is one way, bikes travel in both directions! Blankenberg on the coast has a promenade with dozens of restaurants on it and is a good alternative for a meal, a night out and to see the seaside.

This is a great, affordable hotel for travelers with children. My wife and I have two children, ages 6 and 8. The hotel caters to families well, with a small play area, free breakfast buffet for children, an (unheated) outdoor pool, and rooms with a pull-out couch for the kids. The location is ideal, with a grocery store across the street and within a 10-minute walk of all Brugge's sites. Koningin Astridpark is a 10-minute walk, and has an excellent playground for children under 12.

We chose the Novotel as they have a fairly consistent standard of comfort and service worldwide. We probably could have found somewhere to stay for less money, but perhaps not to the same standards. Room was as we expected - clean, tidy and comfortable. Staff were pleasant and helpful, and all multi-lingual so English communication was no problem. Location was handy - in between the station and the Old Town centre, so good for us weekend tourists. Brugge is a lovely old city, and we enjoyed being there.

Great Stay and Hotel Staff were very helpful.
