Excellent - will stay here again

very nice room. hair dryer didn't work at first but manager came and fixed it quickly. breakfast was decent, rooms and motel were clean.

we chose the hotel for cost and swimming pool the pool hours were limited and it badly needed to be cleaned. The front desk did not know the cleaning schedule. we did not use the pool. The coffe maker in our room was dirty. Obviously, the building is an older one. The pillows and bedding appeared worn and illkept. The breakfast was amazing and the attendent was very friendly.

I went here with my family for an overnight stay. Friendly front desk, very helpful. room was clean nothing special BUT the tv was small and out dated...trying to jump channels was tough. not a big deal except when your dealing with a 3yr.

great clean hotel, small pool, good breakfast, but go out side the hotel and there is a strong smell of cow manure.......

We were not at the Hotel too much. But when we were there it was comfortable. The pillows were too soft. Rooms were clean.

Very nice hotel over all and I couldn't beat the price

We come to lancaster a few times a year to the Mud sales. This hotel was clean, nice room, good location, friendly staff, excellent price. Couldnt ask for much more.

One of the better Sleep Inns which vary a lot in quality. This one was just outside Lancaster PA in a pleasantly rural area but very close to all the malls and restaurants. If you are a Train Buff stay here, the PA RR museum is very nearby as well as the other RR museums of Strasburg. The PA RR Museum is WORLD CLASS : filled with real historic locomotives and cars, displays, model railroads, full size RR buildings, easily as big as a football field but climate controlled plus a huge outdoor area.

We had a very good experience at the Sleep-Inn in Ronks, PA. The location is great. Our room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable, although they had four or five little square bed pillows, so you had to pile two together. Our only problem was with the TV. We tried to find the HBO station, but could not. I called the front desk and the young woman there did not seem to have enough knowledge or experience with the hotel's TVs'quirks. She really tried, though.

This hotel was convenient to the sites of Lnacaster. It was clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable and the hotel was very quiet. Front desk personnel were friendly. We did not use the pool or breakfast.

Horrible breakfast, only 2 sausage, never get refilled

The whole facility had the overall feeling of just doing the bare minimum to get by. The room smelled extremely musty-we were told it was because we were close to the pool?? There was a long black hair on the back of the toilet, wallpaper peeling in the bathroom, messy repairs made to the sink area, and the fan rattled so loud we thought it was going to fall from the ceiling. The breakfast was a joke. They had one tray of sausage and then "ran out" and only served eggs, no jelly for the toast, there was no employee in charge. All the guests kept sticking their heads in the kitchen area to look for help and ask for the basics but no one was there. The front desk clerk was outside smoking and chatting. Periodically an older gentleman that was cleaning the rooms would come by and put out plates/napkins. Bottom line-there are too many other choices in the Lancaster area-this location needs to step it up to compete.

Friendly service and very clean

Everything with Sleep Inn at Ronks, PA was excellent. I didn't know before I spent a night with them. I have always liked Comfort Inn but none was around the my area of interest. At Sleep Inn, the rooms are big, beds comfortable, though the TV wasn't the big screen high def but all was ok. The breakfast was so nice that you can't ask for more.

Enjoyed the stay. Room could have used another lamp over in the corner. The fan that came on with the light switch in the bath room was very noisy. would recommend to others.

Parking was good, it was quiet enough; bathroom fan was clanky and needed much adjustment; the evening desk person smelled like stale cigarettes and cheap cologne. Toilet seat nick looked like it'd been covered up with White Out!

Appeared fairly new. Good rate compared to others in the area. Only 2 negative comments: (1) not much offered for breakfast, (2) it's easy to drive past the hotel - it comes up fast & the sign is small.

The guy at the front desk was so rude!!!!!!! And he smelled so bad!!!

We were there for a one night stay my only complaint is that the desk clerk needs a little more training checking people in he seem to be a little confused ,but overall the room was very nice and clean BUDBUG FREE . We enjoyed the fact there was a mini fridge and microwave in the room and the complaint breakfast was great. I will stay there again it's a get location if your going to sights and sound

found black mold in our bathroom,also a used bar of soap in our shower with hair in it

Staff was very nice. Room was very clean and a nice size. Close to all the Lancaster sites. Close to shopping outlets. We would stay here again.Thank you.

This was exactly what we were looking for. Reasonable price, clean, very comfortable queen beds, nice pool and easy access to everything. Highly recommended and would stay there again. Thanks !

The hotel delivered on everything promised. What it did not do was build walls where you can't hear your neighbors. After listening to a child scream next door for 1/2 an hour, I went to the front desk for assistance. They allowed us to move to another room and the rest of our stay was pleasant. Maybe hotels should try to group their family guests on one wing and their adult and senior guests on another wing.

Great location, close to the shops. A little dark inside but comfortable and spacious room. Staff was friendly. Good place for an overnight or weekend stay.

The tub would not hold water. Weight room was out of order. Pool was too small.I don't appreciate paying $20 +/- for your services when services of this type usually indicate that rates are lower. We needed a third room and signed up for it at the motel and it was approximately $20 less because we did not use your service.I guess by the time you have reserved rooms for 10 nights the free night is paid for almost TWICE.

The hotel is new. The morning breakfast is good and has many choices. Close to Strasburg Railroad. We went there for Thomas the Train. We had two rooms. The only minor inconvenience was the fact that they did have adjoining rooms that would connect without going in the hall. We did not get two connecting rooms, but our were side by side. We didn't ask for them because we didn't know they were avaiable. We would definitely stay there again.

This is a good value place to stay. Close to bird in hand and away from the strip malls. Rooms was clean and service good. Relatively new hotel.

My daughter and I went to enjoy the free breakfast provided at 10:00am. Still breakfast right? As we were trying to eat and prepare our food the staff was clearing away all of the breakfast items. Including the plates and silverware. Very rude! And the pool water ws so low that we thought it was closed.

I think the hotel is good condition and everything was in line with respect to check-in. The room was clean and the hotel in general is in good repair. The continental breakfast is very average. Bagels and toast, some danishes, yogurt and 1 waffle cooker. The coffee was just ok. The rooms, though nice, have very thin walls. If the room next door to you gets up at 5am, you're getting up then too. Also, I got up in the middle of night for a drink of water and to my surprise, there was no water. When I spoke to the night manager, he told me that they fill the pool at night so for a period of time, water is unavailable at the hotel. I'm not sure for how long but it was at a time that I wanted it so it was at the wrong time for me. The hotel is located near some good restaurants and is away from the commercial area that is just amile down the road. My biggest complaint is the thin walls. When I'm on the road it's usually b/c I'm working and getting a good night's sleep is very important to me. When I can hear the kids in the hall and the guy coughing in the next room, it is a little tough to do that.

Nice place to get away for awhile. Staff very nice and accommodating. Near to great shopping, but "away" enough to be quiet and restful.

The Sleep Inn is a nice comfortable hotel in a great location, near everything, but just far away enough from the hussel and bussel. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. I'd stay here again in a minute.

We happened to be at the hotel at the beginning of the week, when there were very few other customers. It was like having personal staff attending to us! The one disappointment was the condition of the pool. The scum on top and the strong chemical smell turned me from using it. Everything else was fine. It was convenient to all that we wanted to do. Thank-you.

Overall we were pleased with this hotel. The room was very comfortable and the surroundings were pleasant. The only negatives related to our stay were the fact that the pool was not monitored and remained a cloudy mess and that the light/fan in the bathroom sounded like a bull horn. My advice would be to bring a powerful night light to plug into the bathroom to prevent having to turn on the overhead light during the night.

Love the hotel location in the amish farm country. Great view from my room window especially when hot air balloons hover over th famrland. Quite a picture opportunity. We have always had a pleasant stay at this hotel and will continue patronage and recommendation of this hotel.

We arrived late (near midnight), tired and were greeted by a very friendly staffer. The room wasn't the most luxurious, but was nice for the price and more than sufficient for a short stay. There was a pool. We didn't get to use it. Looked nice, though too deep (more than 3 meters at the shallowest point) for my 3- and 5-year olds. The location was excellent for Lancaster attractions.

We recently spent two nights here while on a family vacation, and for the most part it was fine. Two things were especially odd, though. After our first night there, we went out sightseeing, but when we got back to the hotel, we discovered we'd been locked out of our room! I went to the front desk to ask why, and they said it was because we'd moved one of the beds against the wall. I explained that we had to do that, our 2-year-old rolled out of the bed during the night. After lecturing me on how the bed was not to be moved, how it was a safety hazard for housekeeping etc, the clerk reactivated my keys. I have a really hard time accepting that it's ok to lock a guest out of his room (with all of his possessions still inside) for the transgression of moving a bed two feet. It would have been just as easy to slide a note under the door asking us not to do that. Changing the locks went too far. The other issue was the pool -- it is so heavily over-chlorinated that you can smell it from the lobby, even through two closed doors and down two hallways. My son had an allergic reaction within 30 seconds of getting in to the pool from the chlorine. Otherwise, it's actually a perfectly nice hotel and very convenient to all the major attractions in the area.

I booked this hotel because it had the best rate with all of the amenities we needed. Our family planned to spend 2 days at Dutch Wonderland. This hotel is just a couple of miles down the road which makes it much more quiet than the hotels directly across from the park. One of the reasons I booked this over another hotel is that there are two Queen beds (Full bed wasn't going to work for us). The free breakfast was great: waffles, danish, bagels, toast, cereal, yogurt, juices, and coffee. The kids used the indoor pool each night. It's on the small side, but it seems clean and there are plenty of towels. I would say this hotel was perfect for our needs.
