The hotel personnel were very nice and quick to fix the problems in our room (overhead light out, no washcloths, toilet didn't flush) but it was a shame we had to deal with them. Our room seemed to amplify the noise from the nearby highway. A decent place to stay for the price.

The bar was a bit of a disappointment, otherwise it was great

Wonderful stay. No complaints at all!! Centrally located, easy to great restaurants, shopping and more. Staff were all friendly and warm. Rooms were very nice, roomy, and clean.

Its was a great stay for me. Comfortable beds, really nice staff, great location. I would definitely stay there again

The hotel was obviously refurbished, and was clean, but there was a lingering musty odor in my room and the hallway that my colleague noticed as well in his room. The staff were very friendly and helpful in finding a restaurant, but the area immediately surrounding the hotel didn't have much to offer except a boarded-up diner next door. The hotel was convenient to the highway, but not too much else.

First visit to Atlanta and we came for the Final Four. Convenient shuttle, good location and superb staff. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Breakfast was about average for hotel but I appreciated the ability to have eggs cooked to order included with the buffet. The shuttle meant we didn't need a car and staff were very friendly and helpful. Booked prepaid and everything went as planned

MY stya here was great this was my third time staying at this hotel and I loved my room and the customer service I recieved and as always the cookies are an added bonus :)

After having stayed in other Doubletree hotels, I was surprised by a few things in Atlanta. First, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed and pillows were comfortable. My problems were with room maintenance. The room smelled of smoke and when I asked if the room could be refreshed, the front desk had nothing to use for that purpose. The other issue was that the trap in the bathroom sink was broken so that the sink would not drain. Each of the three days I stayed I asked about having it fixed and each of the three times I was promised that they would have the engineer fix it. It was never fixed, I had to pry it open myself so I could use the sink. This was the only double room available and I needed to have the two beds, otherwise I would have requested another room.

The only complaint I have is the pillows and mattress were too soft. Everything else was wonderful. The staff is great and the location is great.

Overall great experience, awesome customer service, clean rooms and very comfy towels. Easy access to downtown. Great overall experience.

everything was good except..........could not control the heating/AC... room stayed at 75 degrees or above and could not be changed!

The hotel staff were friendly and check in/out was quick. the room was comfortable though the tub had a missing corner shelf an f no fan in bathroom.. the TV was nice but no DVD player. No complimentary breakfast was offered which i found in lower rated hotels. Internet access was only via Ethernet cord. the location was near the busy highway.

Every employee was so respectful, kind and helpful. Great breakfast buffet. I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was decent at best. Bathrooms were not clean, cable barely worked, toilet was clogged up. We were looking for a cheap place to stay and we found it. Cookies were good though.

Staff was very friendly and helpful - great people! The hotel could use some updating. The room was clean, but the closet was falling off and loaded with dust as I tried to get it to close properly.

Other than not having smoking rooms, this hotel was great. The location, price, and cleanliness were major sticking points for me. I will absolutely stay here again.

This was a wonderful hotel at a wonderful price. The location was perfectly situated directly off 85 and had plenty of restaurants shopping and clubs nearby. The hotel staff were friendly and check in and check out went smoothly. Will definitely be staying here again!

The hotel was exceptional along with the staff; the rooms were very nice and had a fridge and microwave in them. The staff made our stay there most enjoyable. The entire hotel staff was extremely hospitable and nice and went out of their way to make sure that we were satisfied guests. We really enjoyed our stay there and plan to revisit again in the spring. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to stay in a very nice hotel and be treated like royalty, with shopping and nightlife close by. Try this hotel, you won't be sorry you did.

The room was a good size for the price but the room was 81 degrees the whole time!!! And the only way to lower the temp was to turn it off. When I told the hotel staff all they said was I'm sorry! It was awful but the location was only about 5-10min from the Fox theater. It was very convenient but I wish it would not have been so hot!

Found out "after" checking in that u could not control the thermostat in the room!! It was 74 degrees & we were sweating! Tried to turn on a/c only to find out its turned off in the winter months! We were told we could "open a window"! Opened the window & couldn't sleep due to the noisy interstate right beside us!!! Awful stay!!

The staff was as great as all the other reviews cited. The hotel itself however needs a LOT of improvement. Non smoking room smelled of heavy smoke, light fixtures coming out of ceiling, wall paper coming off wall, inoperable AC unit, room either too cold or really hot. I had to change rooms because of this and then found the next room had the same problem. I found that I avoided the hotel except just to sleep. For a DoubleTree, this hotel is very substandard.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay and will probably stay again. Also the room rate was very reasonable.

The staff were friendly. During check-in the staff greets you with fresh baked cookies. We ordered room service and the food was delicious. The rooms were clean. I'm exciting about staying at this hotel again.

The staff was great an very accommodating. They gave me a safe secure place to park my motorcyle and made me feel right at home. Didnt realize how close it was to downtown. 7 min at most again great place to stay

Very loud guests in other rooms, thin walls, domestic disputre requiring the police in a room down the hall. Not up to usual Doubletree standards.

Liked the hotel and loved the friendliness of the staff

Terrible service. Room was tiny. Right next to freeway so it is too loud to sleep. Air conditioner did not seem to work properly. Shower was too hot and then ran too cold after only a few minutes. Manager gave me attitude when I wanted to check out early, and they do not give refunds.

The hotel was close to our son that lives in ATL. The room was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, the breakfast buffet had everything you could possibly want and the food was very good. The warm chocolate chip cookies we received when we arrived was the perfect welcoming touch.

Hotel was kept clean and the hotel service was fabulous. The staff were all extremely pleasant and very helpful.

The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. We even got free warm cookies when we checked in!!! It's a beautiful hotel and it was very close to everything that we wanted to visit!!! I give this hotel a thumbs up!

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The decor was beautiful and elegant, the hospitality was excellent and friendly. We did miss having wifi access in the room. We didn't think to check beforehand, because we thought "of course they'll have that" For the price we paid, available it surprising to find out it wasn't available. That being said, it was a small inconvenience as we were on a vacation, not a business trip. We were also surprised there was no on demand movie option. But, we were able to find a movie on one of the channels so it worked ot fine. The kids loved the cookies, the starry ceiling, the fountain, and the pool. We really enjoyed our time here.

Friendly and courteous staff. Very nice ammenities. Breakfast buffet a little pricey.
