Great ,would stay their again.

Location of the Travel Inn Hotel was wonderful! Close walk to Times Square... about 10-15 minutes. Safe neighborhood. Free parking! Hotel is right near the Lincoln Tunnels so very convenient if you're driving in and out of the city! Would definitely go back. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Decor is a little outdated but room was VERY clean!

Not the classiest of hotels, but free parking in Manhattan? Wow! The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Located only a few blocks from Time Square. Very satisfactory.

very disappointed with quality of service at the price I paid

It is NYC, so expect it to be cozy, not spacious. Bathroom is tight, bed space is fine, temp is too hot and you cannot adjust it other than opening the window to traffic. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Location is convenient for walkers. Short stroll to Times Square in one direction and the Pier if you go the other way. Being in that location felt more like being on Boston than NYC. Awesome grocery store one block away, 99 cent large pizza slices 2 blocks away that were actually good and like Beantown, a Dunkin Ds within 600 ft. When combined with free parking, this is one of the best value stays in Manhattan.

location is awesome, walking distance almost everywhere, rooms old, it was super cold we had to ask for portable heater. old building, but ok for the price in big apple.

I live north of the city and hour and used to stay here all the time because of the free parking. After some time the place got run down and not so nice so we would stay other places. This past stay we could see they made MANY updates and the stay was great! The free parking is the best NYC value because you can leave your car after check out and shop before heading back home!

I was only there for one night following my coordination of a very grueling fundraising event. I was exhausted and just wanted to get some rest. The Hotel booked field trip students on my floor and on the floors above and below. They were very loud and exhibited obnoxious behavior that's very typical of teenagers - screaming, banging doors, running through the halls, banging on the elevator doors and my room was directly across from the elevators. No supervision was evident. Security wasn't sent to calm them down until I called the front desk 3 times to complain after 1 1/2 hours of this behavior at 11:30 pm. My complaints were unresolved even the next day. I will never stay there again!!!

I thought the stay was okay. The facilities are dated but comfortable and clean. The location was ideal to Time Square and shopping. The rates were comfortable in comparison to other hotels in the area.

This hotel is close to everything, a short walk to the best part of Fifth Avenue, to Central Park, to the MoMa, and at the same time, close to Columbus Circle, and the Theater District. Although there is plenty of hot water, it tends to come and go sometimes if someone else on your same line is taking a shower too. Our suite had a large living room and what they call a kitchenette, but it only contains a microwave, a refrigerator and a coffee pot. No toaster or mini oven for a grilled sandwich, no blender, no cutlery, no dishes, so to me it does not qualify as a kitchenette, and should not be advertised as such. The person that tried to sleep in the living room couch could not sleep because it sagged in the middle and the springs were hurting her back. We called the next morning and in no time at al they brought up a rollaway and were very pleasant about it. The beds, including the rollaway, were very comfortable and there were a lot of pillows available. We had a large flat screen TV. Despite the small inconveniences, I would definitely recommend Salisbury Hotel. I don´t think there is anything better at that price, and I did look at many hotels on line.

I stay here almost everytime I go to NYC which is at least twice a year! I love this hotel because of the free parking, fast service and cleanliness of the rooms. 5 stars all around, not far from anything. Can walk to dinner, times square, subway, and taxi's are easily accessible. The only negative thing I can say is, it used to be way cheaper, and the prices have gone up, but hey, that's NY, what can you do?

Although a only basic hotel, this is unbeatable for the price and location. With inclusive parking you can leave the car on-site and walk/bus to anywhere you need to go.

We were only there for one night, but it's a decent location, 10 minutes walk from Times Square, 10 minutes from the Intrepid, and a block from the West Side subway lines. We felt safe walking back at night and, for those who are driving to NYC but freaked out by driving in the city, it's super close to the Lincoln Tunnel. The staff was pleasant and helpful. One advantage to being more on the edge of midtown is that the room was relatively quiet for NYC. Most of the rooms open onto an interior hallway, but ours opened onto a balcony like a motel does - ours overlooked the outdoor pool. This was fine for us, but those afraid of heights or visiting in nasty weather might want to request a room on a hallway.

I was very pleased with all aspects of my stay. The hotel was very clean, staff was helpful, great location & rooms were very comfortable. I would stay there again. Free parking was a plus!

I was on a low budget trip so I didn't expect much from this hotel, and I didn't get any more than I expected.

they could at least have free wifi

Room was clean and ideally situated. Add in free parking and the Travel Inn is my go-to spot in Manhattan.

We paid about $250 for a room with two double beds. Perfectly adequate. No free Internet.

The room was nice and clean. Hotel is away from the noise of Times Square but within a reasonable walk. While there is not the usual street noise that comes with the Times Square area, there was a fair amount of hallway noise. It is also several blocks to the nearest subway. That being said, the price was nice and none of these things would deter me from staying there again.

Easy access from Lincoln Tunnel. Free parking makes the room rate almost reasonable for NYCity. We will stay here on our next visit to NY.

First time to NYC, so I don't have much to compare it too, but I was completely satisfied with this hotel. The location was great and you can't beat the price!

We read many reviews before we booked our weekend stay in NYC, especially because rooms were expensive. We decided on Travel Inn because of price and reviews were average. Reviews all stated worth the money and would stay again-- whic is certainlt true. The room was "normal" size which was shocking, many hotel ib city are so tiny, the room was furnished with older bedspread, but it had a microwave and a small fridge. The workers were very friendly and professional. I didn't realize, but if you book in warmer temps, there is a great outdoor pool- This is no Ritz (which I have stayed) but it more than met my needs. Did I mention you also park you car on premises for no additional charge!? We live right in Jersey, but really wanted feel of mini-vacation and we were both pleased!

Couldn't fall asleep for 4 nights because the noise from the outsidie especially the people talking loud outside of the club directly across the street +honking from the taxis trying to get attention from the same group of people. I'd request one of the interior rooms to hopefully get some peacefulness during the night.

We were treated so well the minute we arrived! The parking attendant went out of his way to make sure we knew exactly where we were going. There was a mix up with our room, that we had to call the desk to straighten out, so they put us up in a suite to make it up to us!! Which was totally not necessary, but very much appreciated! Everyone was so friendly and helpful the entire time. We left our car parked there after check out to do more sightseeing, at no charge! Very, very wonderful staff! And the hotel is so conveniently located! Will definitely stay there again...and again....and again!!!!!

My Travel Inn stay was short and sweet. The room was clean and comfortable. It is convenient to Times Square and the theater district. The nice part is a free parking space at the hotel itself a rarity in NYC Hotels.

Stayed for one evening, the room was either too hot or too cold since there was no thermostat to control the temperature, our bed was as hard as a rock and was not very comfortable. Room was very clean but small, the worst part was the neighbouring rooms, one was up till 3am laughing and chatting the walls are that thin, there was a drunk patron that tried to enter our room at 4am, needless to say I didn't get much sleep. The people there were all very nice and hospitable. For the price I would have spent an extra $50 to get a better nights rest.

Free parking: the best reason to stay here. Clean room, friendly staff. Only problem was that we had a room facing 42nd St. and it was very noisy. Earplugs did help. Great location, close to subway and restaurants but not too close to the mayhem of Times Square. We will be back!

For the price you pay for this hotel with free parking (unlimited in and out) is too good to be true. We stayed there 2 two nights and saved lots of money and time. Rooms are specious for New York standards. Room was clean, beds were comfortable and had a microwave and a fridge in the room. We arrived early and there was no issue checking in. They also have early check-in 2 and late check outs at 12. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who is traveling with family. Everything is close by, police station and the CVS is across the street where you can get everything. It's between 10th and 11th avenue on 42nd street, Time Square is 3 avenue blocks away.

2ND TIME STAYING HERE, GREAT LOCATION, FREE PARKING....CLEAN ROOM, CLEAN BATROOM, I WILL STAY HERE EACH TIME I TRAVEL TO CITY

Convenient to Javits, reasonable.Only encountered difficulty on morning of checkout-housekeeping was already in our room, with beds stripped, etc, when we returned from breakfast, and, when we went to retrieve car, they couldn't locate our car keys. whoops! ended okay later in the day, with profuse apologies. I would stay there again.

Excellent value

This hotel was clean, comfortable and great value for NY. No charge for parking, they allowed us to arrive early and leave the car there (9.30am) then check out and leave the car parked till 3pm next day. Its walking distance to Time Square and subways, with loads of great restaurants just one block away on Restaurant Row. Its not the most trendy of hotels, but everything else about it is great. I would most definitely stay there again.

Had a problem w/ the toilet which was fixed immediately. The mentioned microwave and refrigerator were not in the room.Only real complaint was no mat in tub; slippery! But the room was fairly spacious for New York. Check out the Cake Boss Cafe outside the Port Authority!

Other than location and parking there is nothing good about this hotel. Small rooms outdated decor. Apparently we were booked into the hotel's sauna instead of hotel room. After turning the heat completely off there was only a slight change on temperature. I headed for the front desk to complain. They sent someone up to literally show us how turn the knob from right to left. They opened up a window and gave us a box fan. Went out for a few hours expecting the room to have cooled it did not. Since it was late and we planning on leaving early we swet it out literally.
