After some confusion with Hotels.com (the hotel didn't have my reservation), I was given a room facing the pool. The room was spacious and clean, hotel was quiet and staff all very friendly. The breakfast area in the lobby was set up like a restaurant, with a variety of cold cereal, fresh fruit, pastries, a waffle iron to make your own waffles, coffee and juice. If in the area, I will stay here again.

I booked this trip for an overnight while I interviewed for a position at NAU. The large king bed room had everything one would need for an extended stay. Comfortable furniture including a chair, 2 tables, and a lounger with an ottoman; appliances included a refrigerator, microwave, TV with cable + HBO, and alarm clock. The only real downside shows up in the bathroom. The ceiling is barely 7' and the shower head can make it difficult if you are over 5'6". I'm 5'11 and had to back bend in order to rinse my hair and crouch to rinse my face. Due to the low ceiling I did feel a little claustrophobic but all-in-all it was manageable. The location was excellent, within walking distance of a shopping of the Plaza Safeway shopping center, Galaxy Diner, the Flagstaff Athletic Center, and minutes from downtown.

Room was nice and clean. Motel was near food and fun places. For some reason the hallways were not lighted? Came back to our room after dinner in the dark and no lights were on.

Location was good. Person on reception was helpful in showing us the best place to go for dinner. breakfast was lame...could do with adding warmer food especially during winter.

Very nice.

Front Desk seemingly disinterested in customer service. Entire experience, including room, was sub-par to average, at best.

Room was clean. Price was reasonable.

This hotel was clean and we were very pleased with the room. However, the continental breakfast was terrible. Had nothing but carbohydrates. Toast, muffins, waffles, donuts, and sugary cereal. No fruit. Not even peanut butter to spread on the toast. Orange juice was watered down about 50%. At least 6 cups of wasted juice were sitting on top of the trash can when I was there, as people were not able to drink it and were sitting full cups of it there. Hostess at breakfast was busy talking on her blue tooth and guests had to keep asking her to replenish the food. We had to clean our own table as all of the empty tables were very dirty. We were very disappointed in the breakfast.

The hotel was fine. Although I had asked for a first floor room, I got a second floor room & had to carry kids up the slippery stairs. It snowed about a foot in Flagstaff that night, so walkways & stairs were icy, I accidently left pajamas behind, that my husband had just gotten me for Valentines Day. I was in a panic th next night, when I started to get ready for bed & found I didn't have them. I called the motel to inquire about them. The desk agent got my number so she could call me back to let me know if they had been found. I was thrilled when she called me back. They held them at the front desk for me all week & I was able to pick them up on my way back through Flagstaff.

We took a last minute trip to Vegas and stopped in Flagstaff on the way there. We booked the room (and paid for it), and there was no record of it at the front desk. Rather than the front desk clerk handling with Hotels.com immediately, I had to go to the"business center" to pull up the email I had been sent to prove I had paid for a room! Apparently the confirmation # wasn't good enough. FINALLY, after seeing the email, the front desk clerk called Hotels.com to see what the deal was. Took too long and very inconvenient.

Large room. Comfortable and clean. Great price and location. Will stay again.

Room smelled and blankets looked dirty would not stay here again

Mostly everything was good. What really put it down was the fact that I had to stand in line for 25 minutes to get breakfast. That is waaaay too long!

One room was perfect the connecting room (252) smelled like BO and had a broken hinge on the door of the bathroom. The break fast waas supposed to be until 9:00am but ran out or food 8:30am.

We made our reservations through the Hotel.com app and selected a 1st floor room with queen beds. Upon check in our room was not ready until 4pm and the front desk informed us of our invalid request due to sold out rooms and no availability. I presented a copy of our requests made through hotels.com and the front desk continued to state they do not receive those details in their system when a reservation is made through hotels.com We settled for a second floor room with FULL sized beds!!! Although the property, lounge area and breakfast was nice, it was over shadowed by the discomfort of not getting a restful sleep.

very clean, great room. good breakfast with waffles, cereal and donuts. Close to the monte vista area. I would for sure stay here again.

The front desk older man was rude from the get go arguing because I wanted a double room that I booked a king aruged with me telling me i booked eith a different card then handed me a reciept to sign that had different name didn't apologize for him mistake then the next morning wow wish I had a camera while people were eating breakfast that was a bit shabby he started to turn off n take away stuff 5 till 9 even took stuff out of people's tables that hadn't been opened then argued with some lady and stormed out the hotel

I booked this hotel because it was supposed to be pet friendly and charged a reasonable fee. I listed on the reservation that we were bringing our small, well-mannered cat. But when we got there, we were told that the cat would have to stay in her cage the ENTIRE time, and we would have to take her with us anytime we left the room. Since it was 11 p.m., snowing, and we had been driving for 17 hours, I said fine. The clerk was a rude jerk and tried to charge 50% more than the website said but backed down when I told him that's not the rate on Hotels.com. Even though the heat was on full blast the entire time, the room never got above 45 degrees. We finally went out and bought our own space heater. DON'T STAY HERE!

We were really disappointed with our stay at Days Inn. We checked in at 4:10 (check in starts at 3pm). When we entered our room it clearly had not been cleaned. Beer bottles and wine coolers littered the floor. All of the sheets and comforters were thrown on the floor. We went back to the lobby in hopes of getting a new room, but that didn't happen The guy at the front desk did not apologize and told us that it would be cleaned shortly. Thankfully we were going out, and did not need to use our room right away. With all of the other hotel options in Flagstaff, we definitely will not be back to Days Inn.

When we checked in we were given a room that had not been cleaned yet and the door was wide open. Our second room was handicap, but ok. Do not put your key next to your cell phone because the key will not work anymore. Had to go to the front desk for a new key. Overall ok if you need somewhere cheap to sleep.

Didn't receive 1st floor room as requested on website. Manager told me not to use site but to call him directly for same rate. Cons: room smelled, ice on walkway, must pay for game room, loud heater. Pros: inexpensive, good location, great maid service, hot water. I will try another hotel in the future as I wasn't completely satisfied but this one would do in a pinch.

We booked 3 nights and I called ahead asking for a fridge. i was told by the guy at the front desk that ( it's so cold in Flagstaff I wouldn't need a fridge). At first I thought he was kidding but when I arrived the Thursday nite I asked to have a fridge delivered to our room as i had requested the previous night then I was told that they did not have any available. I finally got a fridge the following day after constantly complaining and making a few trips to the front office. The room was neat and clean very comfortable everything was in perfect working condition . The maid service was polite and trustworthy. The breakfast was fine. We awoke to a beautiful view of the snow caped hill it was lovely. I would definitely stay there again.

The beds were from the 80's worn out as was the micro thin bedding (outside temp 6 degrees.) The heater could not keep the room to a comfortable temperature. The coffee pot and refrigerator were broken (ammendites we relied on) as was the bathtub no plug (showers only). They ran out of breakfast at 8:15 with only a few choices of cereal (no milk) and bread ends and waffels left. After waiting in line for about 40 minutes we were told (breakfast ends at 9, and nothing else would be put out) Horrible stay. We travel a lot. For the price-- an overall disaster and unpleasant stay with unfriendly service.

The motels in Flagstaff are same like this motel? If then I wouldn't stay in Flagstaff at all and wouldn't suggest this place at all! First of all, through online (hotels.com) I requested first floor rooms because there is online selection, but when I got there, they have only 2nd floor rooms for 2queen beds rooms. Why then there is selection then? Another thing is when we entered in the room, there was piled dirty, used towels, sheets on a chair. Is that really? Why? Lastly and worstly, the room temperature was horrible! I was in the military in 4years and it seems I was in a army tent on a mountain. We tried to raise up the heater temperature, but it didn't change. We asked next day please raise up the temperature an one worker said, the maintenance person may not set up the heater. Wow. But after we came back from a state park, the temperature was same! So we asked again and another worker there at the counter said there is not much thing they can do! I checked the room temp it was about 50F. He said he can switch the room, but it will be same. What else I can say? My 2 days with my trip companions were wit full of frustration. Sigh. Do not stay here. No Days inn west Route 66.

Far from the highway. Once I reached the hotel, the lobby was dark and I had to call out hello loudly before the desk clerk came from a dark back room. The room was very old and not updated. It is pet friendly but everywhere there is grass, there are signs that say do not allow your pet on the grass or no pets on grass. Defeats the purpose of being pet friendly and pets are not allowed in the lobby. Would not stay there again.

While my room is clean, the continental breakfast is good. I had to go and ask them to check my keycard twice because I had trouble getting into the room. The hotel is located near train tracks, so if you are a light sleeper (like me), I don't recommend staying there because of the loud train noise. Benadryl did help me fall asleep though. Overall, the stay was good except the door and the noise.

The bed was very comfortable and the room surprisingly quiet. I didn't realize until I woke up in the morning how close we were to the railroad tracks! The breakfast was nice but nothing special - the waffles had a real eggy texture and funny tatse, but they had english muffins and a variety of cereals, so it wasn't bad. For the price, I would definately stay again.

Clean, friendly, courteous, and a good bargain.

It was terrible - the sheets stunk of sweat, the room had an awful smell, the beds were so uncomfortable, the towels were like sand paper, and the door was not molded properly as air was coming through it.

A nice place for an overnight stay. There are trains that run along the back, so request a room on the interior.

No elevator,poor breakfast ,bad beds,disturbing train noise

Had reservations and arrived after 2pm. Front desk person said we would have to come back at 3 to get a room. When we came back at 3, the man now at the front desk was extremely hard to understand. Luckily the key had the room number on it so we knew where to go. The breakfast area was nice, but the staff seemed to want to ignor the clients. Would stay elsewhere next time.

Made reservations far in advance and requested down stairs due to wheel chair unless if there's a elevator we would be fine, got there and all bottom floor was taken. No Elevator and the stairs were outside spiral type stare-well.
