Good room for the price. Friendly staff and clean room. Will stay again....

The hotel was in a convenient location and the staff was excellent. The hotel is a little old, but in reasonable condition. The wi-fi connection was superior.

The staff was super helpful and friendly. Fantastic location right off of 10. Waffle House right next door and family resturaunt right across the street. A little traffic noise but to be expected on the major street. Bath tub a little dated and could just some bleach. Beds a bit soft for me but over all very good.

The area was not nice, and teh hotel amenities were minimal, but the room itself was nice.

Motel was convenient off major highway. Visited family nearby. Did not use much of facilities. Room was adequate for what we used motel for.

Stayed 3 nights, enjoyed breakfast each morning, utilized refrig and microwave provided,

For the record...we only chose this place by reading the reviews online. VERY MISLEADING! We were scared from the time we pulled up, until we finally left the next morning. The man at the front desk rubbed his nose at least 40 times before he handed us our key, the room was gross, uncomfortable beds, and scary location. We were up all night checking to make sure our car wasn't getting broken into! Long story short....NEVER AGAIN! Don't stay here!!

It's an easy on and off from I-10. Great location with a couple of restaurants next to it. A/C was nice and cold rooms were great too. I will stay here again and again.

I was visiting Tucson and decided to stay at this hotel. Location was perfect. AC unit was as its best! Good service. Noticed fridge was cooling on second day, called room service and notified them, they immediately switched my fridge. I was really happy and satisfied. Continental breakfast was ok. Cant complain when you get additional service :) I will definetely stay again in Motel 8. Was pleased with my stay and treated me more than just a guest and amenities were perfect. Enjoyed the pool!

The hotel was a bit dated, but adaquate with good dinning options near by all in all a good stay

The assistant manager checked us in. It was obvious that he doesn't like his job. He was downright abusive. My sister and husband were also staying there. He was abusive to them. Their first room had a broken air conditioner, which he knew when he assigned it to them. Then, in the middle of the night, some one used some large object to completely shatter their window out. They were asleep in the room. Obviously no on-site security. I could go on. Pathetic!.

Room was missing some amenities on our arrival, but the staff fixed it immediatly. Clean room and the whole facility appeared well maintained. We stayed for a full week and never had any issues with the hotel itself. We were awakened by other guests moving auto parts in the parking lot, but the manager took care of it as soon as we made him aware. Great hotel at a great price. Strong recommend.

I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights in May 2012 and was very happy with the service. The rooms were SUPER nice for the price! It definately wasn't a 5 start hotel, but I didn't pay for a five star hotel either. The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. The first night the bathroom water wasn't working correctly and they promptly upgraded me to a bigger room without me asking (I had a baby with me). They were very hospitable every time I went into the office (locked myself out of my room twice.) Breakfast was very basic, but the muffins were yummy. I go to Tucson for a week every May and will stay at this hotel every time!

My husband and I have stayed here a few times because it is close to our family members and the rate has been okay compared to other hotels. The room was fairly clean but we have had issues with the bath draining the water due to alot of hair in the drain, we had this same issue again and we told management and they said they would take care of it as they said last time. The Continental breakfast wasn't good, the pitchers were empty, no juice of any kind as stated in their post only a couple small bagels, no cream cheese, no fruit just a couple of muffins and coffee, and cereal but no milk in pitcher. We would stay again because of price and cleanliness but we would'nt have their continental breakfast. Also Pleasant attendant.

I was down in Tucson visiting Saguaro national park. The hotel was located close to the highway - easy to get to but lots of outside noise. The hotel was very clean which was nice for the price of the room. The bathroom was partly updated but needed a little bit more work. The floors in the room were newly carpeted and looked good. Overall the room was a good value for the price.

I find it funny when some people give places like this a poor rating and say their old and not new. Its a super 8 not the four seasons. Having stayed at both it comes down to what you are looking for. My wife and I like to do little weekend get aways to see attractions and sites. We don't stay in "crap" holes, but our focus is to spend money on dining and attractions and not waste it needlessly on a hotel. With that said I we stay in places that are nice, nothing special for a good rate. We don't plan on staying in the room for extended days so having the newest upgrades isnt a big deal. This hotel is in a great location to downtown with many diners around. It is right off the interstate and centrally located in Tucson. I would stay here again.

The accomodations were very nice. The manager was very nice.

My stay was only two nights. The staff was extremely helpful, kind, friendly. Room appeared clean, we never know what's in the carpeting. Peeling wallpaper, no clock/radio. Overall, ok for just sleeping.

I want to be fair but clear: The ratings I'm giving to this motel are in relation to other budget-type places where all you want is a clean place to sleep. This isn't a resort. The room was ample in size for two people and very convenient to I-10. The bed and bathroom were clean. The hot water worked. The TV worked. There were only two standard-size pillows, which wasn't enough for two people, but that's about all I can think to complain about.

We were extremely pleased with our experience. The motel met all of our needs, as it was clean and comfortable and convenient. :)

OK place to stay. next to busy road but we were so dog tired we didnt care. 1 resturant across street, no others closeby. Would use this one again for the price. Great staff!

Booked this room for price and convience to getting to Arizona's campus as well as freeway. Also had free wifi. Hotel was quiet, clean, cost effective and conviently located. Not fancy and the free breakfast was not worth stoping by. Recommend for a decent hotel on a budget. Only had two pillows in too So we bought extras

I was visiting my son at U of A. This hotel was located rigt off the highway just two exits down from U of A. Very convenient. It is also locate right by A mountain. I was very comfortable with the room. Only complaint was it was missing a desk chair and there was no alarm clock in the room.

Will never return. I actually considered checking out one hour after arrival.

hotel is adequate but not outstanding. The WiFi did not connect while in the room. Fair price for what it is.

First, let me start off by stating the service at this Super 8 was outstanding, the clerks were very helpful, nice, and understanding but unfortunately, they have an old, dilapidated motel they have to work with. The rooms were old and only moderately maintained with old fixtures in the bathroom and old, damaged furniture in the sleeping area. The room was as clean as it could be but still felt "dirty". The sheets, pillows, and comforter were old and dingy. The air conditioning worked fine enough except that it was very loud and somewhat distracting while watching TV, reading, or sleeping. I would recommend this motel for it's cheap price and friendly service but I would not recommend this motel due to its cleanliness, lack of maintenance, and its overall "dirty" feel. You get what you pay for I guess.

The attendant that was helping me when checking in was off putt oi ng and when I took an iron to him that almost caught fire in my room he was very, very rude and not apologetic at all!!!

Lousy beds make for a lousy night's rest. Nothing else really matters.

Other than the new carpet, the place was a dump. The front desk person was very rude upon check in. The bathroom wallpaper was peeling off the wall. The place had termites. Noisey truck in the parking lot around 2am kept waking us up. Will never stay there again.

Easily located near the UofA campus for convenience and will stay there again if needed. Clean and courteous service when I checked in.

My full complaint was e-mailed to hotels.com!!!!! bad bad bad motel!!!!!

The front desk people are very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and was better than I expected. Rm 104 is where we stayed and it was nice for the money. If I travelled in the area again I would stay there. The only things is they dont have extra pillows when 5 stay in a room. Otherwise over all was really good.

The room was basically fine, if dated, but the bathroom was really dated. Would it kill them to get a toilet that isn't 30 years old or to tile the tub surrounds instead of using the vinyl/plastic stuff? The carpet seemed new to the room's credit, and it had a mini fridge and microwave, also to it's credit. The bathroom is what killed my impression of the place, and I am willing to overlook a lot. It was just kind of gross. Not dirty, but I had to wonder why couldn't they at least get a modern toilet in there. Also, the sink would never really get cold water. Maybe it's just Tucson, but I've seen this problem with old fixtures.
