Enjoyed the hotel, very good breakfast, good location, clean bathroom, comfortable bed. Will stay again.

Food was good, kitchen staff and front desk staff were great! Shuttle left us at the marina one day, never came back, had to cab it to hotel with 2 little kids, mngr comped us a free night bc of it. Housekeeping sucked. Pool was ok, neighborhood was rough, felt a little like I was in the "hood". Lots of shopping near by but noisy at night near pool

Check in time is 3pm,which is too late

The hotel was nice the only bad experience is I was on 2nd floor and the elevator was not working.

Great stay. Room was clean. Breakfast was fantastic as we had freshly made scrambled eggs and pancakes as well as bakery items, oatmeal and fruit. The kitchen staff was WONDERFUL!!! Cannot say enough about the hardworking staff operating the grill and the dining room. Older hotel but reasonably maintained. Great rate! Would definitely stay again.

My stay was perfect it was good price for two night had a good time! I would stay there again especially the location close to seaworld just how I wanted it!

Made a reservation through the phone with an operator, when arrived for check in there was no room reservation. Front clerk had to call it in & get a confirmation number since there was no rooms available we were placed in a handicap room.

The hotel wasn't anything fancy, but we weren't looking for anything fancy. We really liked that the hotel offers a free shuttle to SeaWorld.

Hotel was close to major attractions, shuttle service was friendly and useful. Adequate parking. Pharmacy next door and other shopping/restaurants across the road. Pool is small, best to go at an "off" time if you want to actually swim. Nice sized breakfast room, hotel served eggs, pancakes, fruit, cereal, & pastries making departure easier. To get to the pool/breakfast area we had to cross the street to get to that section and we were slightly uncomfortable with the number of vagrants in the area, but were not harassed or approached.

Price was right and the pool was heated, which the kids loved. They also served a warm continental breakfast with scrambled eggs and pancakes. But rooms could use a remodel, too Old and dingy for my comfort.

Disappointed!! They stole my pajamas! I left my pajamas on the bed. When I arrived it had been stolen!! I complained at the reception, but did nothing! The hotel room was dirty! Too much noise from other guests!! No more back!!

Well let me just say it was the worst hotel me and my family have ever stayed at the pictures make it look warm and inviting but the room looks nothing like it. After we arrived and checked we went too our room to find our door open called the front desk and they had no more doubles with sofa bed so we had to stay n the room 153. It stunk like urine and the carpet was worn down and looked like mildew, our sheets were ripped, all the trash cans had no bags, no back to the TV remote furniture is old and out dated. Only a dog will the free breakfast bc no person n there right mind will. I would never stay here again.

Staff was rude. People were allowed to be screaming in the pool till very late.

The room had a particularly strong odor, not sure what. The carpets had black stains streaked across the room and the water temperature was impossible to control for the vanity and the shower. I would let the water run and run and turn the handle to every imaginable position to finally get a marginally showerable temperature (cool enough that is). The shower curtain is on a rod that is angled downward so it would slide open every shower and allow water outside the tub into the walls and floor. The breakfast consisted of the same two pancakes and factory eggs every morning. That was the first and last visit.

I thought it was a good hotel overall. Although for the five of us booked into one room, they gave us the smallest room. I think since we got a good deal through hotwire they really didn't mind giving us their tiniest room. The other rooms we saw looked much bigger. Since we stayed a week, i think they should have given us a bit more wiggle room knowing we had three young kids. Everything else was good though, even had laundry facilty and super warm pool. Breakfast was good too.

Nice clean room. Helpful staff. Some air traffic noise during the day. Would recommend.

Free shuttle to sea world, free parking, free breakfast, and heated pool! Neighborhood is scary though. Needs to have secure gates around the property. My boys looked out the window to find bums sitting in the parking lot next to our car drinking beer and going through their bags.

I couldnt have asked for a better location and stay! Everything my family needed or wanted to see was within 10-15 minutes. Mission bay beach was 5 minutes down the road, Sea World was 5 minutes away, the San Diego Zoo was 15 minutes away. Having to travel with smal kids was such a relief that we didnt have to drive far! Was very impressed with the complimentary breakfast, was expecting the tradional cold breakfast so the pancakes and eggs were unexpected and my kids loved it. I will come back again if my family visits San Diego again!

The service, room, breakfast and rates were very good. The grounds and building need some attention. We enjoyed the hot tub, it was a good temperature. It was a central location for us. The staff were all helpful and pleasant.

Rooms had balcony wich was awesome

My sister and I were going to San Diego to visit the Zoo and SeaWorld - and wanted an economical hotel. The first room we had the shower knob didn't work, the tv's were old and didn't work great, and the room was not as we expected (not as the pictures online portrayed the room). When I asked at reception if we could switch, the guy gave me a key to another room and told me to check it out, if I liked it we could move there and just call him to let him know. We switched rooms and the rest of the couple days were great - great tv's, shower that worked, and this room smelled a bit fresher. The shuttle drivers were awesome and timely - picking us up on time, and dropping us off - even taking us to the train station . The hotel is near a Walgreens and Target so you can walk to pick up snacks to take with you to the Zoo and SeaWorld. Room's have tv's and microwaves so you don't need to go out to eat (if you're into saving money). Its not a fancy hotel - but clean, has a great hot tub, breakfast is ok (scrambled eggs and pancakes), I recommend it for the price. And Nancy at the front desk is the most helpful, customer service minded person we met our entire trip in California. Chris the shuttle driver was great too!

The rooms are bigger than other hotels, we select the cheapest room and it has a medium living room and a medium bedroom with a king bed, we were two persons but we could be six and still acceptable. Free wifi, free parking, free breakfast (eggs and pancakes), good service, elevator, pool, jacuzzi, bath, two TVs.

The staff were very loud when passing the rooms. It was very unpleasant. The rooms were nice and clean. The parking was difficult at night because of the small lot. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful.

We stayed here when we were visiting Sea World. The hotel has a hot breakfast (pancakes and eggs) along with the usual pastries, bagels, toast, cereal, etc. They also offer a free shuttle to Sea World and the airport which is very convenient. The rooms and facilities are outdated, but if you can overlook that, then this hotel is worth the price.

My wife and I changed rooms two times in the middle of the night because: 1) Air Conditioner noise was very loud, 2) Air Conditioner did not work. After that, the other room had no hot water in the shower. Wireless stayed down for three days and front desk did not move to fix it. Dirty towels.

As promised. No problems. Decent breakfast. Helpful employees.

Older hotel but clean.

This was a short overnight stay as I was flying in from Phoenix to meet my daughter and grankids so we could fly out early the next morning to Chicago. I chose this hotel for the price as I was already spending a fortune for flights, other hotels and such for a family of six. i wanted something close to the airport and big enough for all of us and a good price. The hotel staff wasn't very friendly. We had to drive across the street to another part of the hotel for our room. This was not a good-looking area. The room was decent and clean, but the tv in the front room was fuzzy and this was where the kids were sleeping. There was only one small trash can which I found odd. The people next to us were up all night long and we could hear them talking through the wall. Access off the freeway to the hotel was confusing, but getting back to the freeway was easy.

Front desk clerks were pleasant and courteous. Preferred this location against hotel row. Hotel is old and dated but our room was spacious. Clean sheets and beddings.

The stay was O.K. The shuttle service provided was very good. The room had a smell and there diapers left in the night stand from previous occupants.One day our room was not made up at all.Breakfast was exactly the same every day and did not include any meat.The area was fine.

You need softer towels and grab bars in the bathtub. The front desk was very helpful and the shuttle drivers were excellant.

The Hotel was perfect for all of us! We went for our sons graduation from MCRD (which is only 5minutes away), who is now officially a U.S. Marine! It was a suite with a private bedroom, two tvs, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, swimming pool, jacuzzi, free full breakfast till 10am, and great hospitality! We will be back!

This hotel is a very good one (But you have to sign a strange contract). The location was good with near by bus stops. Many restaurants and convinces stores are also in the vicinity. The hotel room was clean. Service was adequate and polite. The strangest thing about this hotel is that you had to sign a document stating that if someone stole your rome, the hotel will not be responsible. At least from my point of view, this ridiculous. I didn't lose anything while staying there.
