Difficult to find. Dirty. Not enough towels. TV didn't work.

I love to travel and I love staying in hotels, but never not even in a motel have I experienced anything like this. Hot, smelled like smoke even penetrated our clotes, was so bad that we decided to look for another hotel our second night in Ausin. SpringHill suites just a mile away was way better.

This was our 2nd time staying at this hotel. The rooms were pretty clean. The hotel is in a not-so-good area but we don't hang out outside, so that didn't matter to us. It was close to everywhere we needed to be. The guy at the front was friendly and helpful. Everything in our room worked just fine.

For the price it was good. Pluses...the free breakfast, the in room coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. The room was clean and everything worked well. The only negative was I did see one roach in the bathroom on my last day. That was not good.

The hotel was in a great location for us. It had a fridge and microwave which was great and the people were so helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay there again.

The staff was very friendly, but the hotel looks run-down. Surprisingly though, I had granite counter-tops, but then I had an old outdated television that half the channels didn't work.

This was by far the dirtiest, smelly and noisy place I have ever stayed in. I would not recommend this location to anyone and will never again stay here.

I cut my stay here short mainly because I wasn't confident in the cleanliness and safeness of this hotel. For instance, the edges of the carpet along the base boards are filthy, as in if the maid's vacuum doesn't quite get it then no one will. The exhaust vent in the bathroom was caked with dust and cobwebs and the shower curtain rod was falling off the wall. I'm not trying to sound "high maintence" but when a hotel shows the kind of neglect I noticed, it makes me question everything about it. Are they changing the linens regularly? Do they clean the shower very well? How old are the pillows and mattresses? Additionally, you can hear road noise pretty well as wells as your neighbors if they are making any noise. There were also shady looking characters hanging out in the parking lot or in front of the front door on a few occasions, as well as people who appeared to be staff (out of uniform) who smoked in front of the entrance. I wouldn't spend over $50 per night if I had to stay here again.

Place was under remodeling stage. Room was okay, but needed to change three times due to electrical shortage upon turning on bathroom light. Second room unable to get in due to lock malfunction. Third room was a charm with no problems. Hotel has Quick access to I 35 and downtown area. No restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was below average.

It was what was expected and the service, was very good, helpful people who did a good job making sure all was well with the stay,

From Dallas here in town doing work. First hotel we stayed and the last time we do. Check-in attendant could use a instruction course on grammar and etiquette 101. Over weight naked woman was climbing into the dumpster. READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE BOOKING! Prostitution is in the area. Spend the extra $10-$15 a night and stay somewhere else...

I'm always concerned at what I'm going to find in hotels like this but I thought it was very adequate for the price. I found none of the horror stories to be true in my case.

Most affordable place I found that was right down the road from SoCo and only 2 mi. from downtwn.

Not the greatest place, but clean and cheap so it was good enough.

This was the worst day that I ever had. The war was falling off is hinges almost. The air-conditioning didn't work right. And then maids kept making noises in the hallway and you could hear everything. I hardly got any sleep.

The rooms were clean but smelt moldy, the toilet didn't flush, had to repair the flush valve, the a/c didn't blow very hard, other than that the lady and gentleman at the front desk were both pleasant, and my stay was ok.

I'm not normally very picky about where I stay since I believe in getting what you paid for. However, this hotel was probably one of the worst hotels I have stayed if not the worst. The first thing I noticed was that even though I wanted a non-smoking room, the entire room smelled like smoke. Second, and probably more serious, is that there is a prostitution problem in the area. You can see them go in and out. I definitely did not feel safe here and a hard time sleeping.

The hotel itself was fine for a one night stay. Unfortunately, the night I stayed there was also a very large, loud group who arrived after I was already asleep and woke me up with their loud talking and door slamming. They got up early, and did the same thing. The walls are very thin. Next time I will ask for a room at the end of the hallway so I dont' have to hear people coming and going.

The price was perfect. We didn't have huge expectations, but was pleasantly suprised. The only problem we had was the a/c didn't work as well as other hotels we have stayed at in the past.

The hotel room was very clean and all the equipment was working regularly. AC was working fine without excessive noise. The location was close to 6 th st. which is one of the most popular nightlife locations. The staff was helpful. One downside is that the breakfast is from 6 am to 9 am. It should be extended to 10 am.

The quality of the hotel is great for the price you pay. I'd definitely stay here again.

Location was good. Lots of nearby shopping and restaurants. However, the place was horrible. The room and the hallways REEKED of cigarette smoke. Ironic because your room contract states your will be fined $250 if you're caught smoking in the building. The sheets and blankets even smelled horrible. I could hardly sleep. Thankfully, we only had to stay 1 night. The room was outfitted with a refrigerator, unfortunately, it wasn't until the next morning that I noticed it wasn't even working. And the sodas I put in there the night before were warm. The carpets in the hallway were filthy. UGH! I should have paid a little more and stayed somewhere else. Didn't Howard Johnsons used to be nice????

Good and brief

The hotel stay was OK at best. The rooms could be way cleaner. We had to change rooms 3 times before we found one that we could do with. It looks like they have cheaply touched up the paint and replaced the AC window units (the second room AC unit was old and did not even work!) Had a King size bed but it was really hard, the pillows were hard and the carpet was not the cleanest (could be replaced). Mediocre at best.
