Got a great deal for a two night stay. Included breakfast, can't ask for much more given the low rate.

This worked for quick overnight stay. The staff is friendly, and helpful. The rooms are a bit worn. The beadspreads are tattered and stained. I was too tired to move to a different hotel.

First thing we noticed when enter the hallway and the room was an oder we couldn't identify. Going into the room wasn't much better. We didn't want to look too close at the comforters. There were stains everywhere. Even though the room was non-smoking, one of the comforters had a cigarette burn in it. We only stayed since it was afte 11 at night when we got there and we would be out by 7 in the morning. I thought I had read that it was newly remodeled but couldn't tell by the condition of the place.

I found a crumb in my bed. Lovely service though

Seriously not safe here. Druggies hanging around with their belongings... lady at front desk was nice but that was it.

My 2-day stay was exceptional. It was quiet and the front desk checked with me almost immediately if everything was okay. The hotel personnel were friendly and talkative. The facility was aged compared to the surroundings but for the price, the breakfast and the helpfullness of the staff, there were no real issues for complaint.

while the bathrooms were clean, the rest of the rooms were not. The bed spreads were very, very, dirty. The floors were not cleaned as I found seeds and other things around the bed frames in the carpet. Although the check-in staff were very helpful, the other staff were not. There are things that happened at the hotel that I will not go into.

Thought I'd save a few bucks but wish I hadn't. Couldn't find the place - their sign has no lights and the driveway takes you way back between another motel and McDonalds. Single room was as small as expected. Bed was surprisingly good. Stains and rust on walls and fixtures in bathroom. Continental breakfast was average, absolutely nothing special. Front desk persons were courteous and helpful - best thing about the place.

For what i needed it was fine. Just a clean rm, hot shower and good bed.

The gal at the front desk was very friendly and polite. She was very accomidating.

The night shift young lady at the front desk was very pleasant. The hotel itself was very clean, overall just a pleasureable experience. Will stay again at this Howard Johnson's.

Use this place only as a last resort. Rooms are bad, beds are covered in stains, staff wear dirty clothes, and the list goes on

The staff was really nice. They were pretty personable. Seemed to make everyone feel at home and comfortable.

It worked for a quick overnight stay. The bathroom was missing tiles, and the tub was chipped, but overall the room was clean. The pillows and bedding seemed old and not very plush.

I've never stayed in a hotel and feared for my life, until I stayed here. I believe the other guests we encountered were actually residents there. As we were checking in, one was being escorted out by police. The smell was a combination of dog, smoke, and sewer. I imagine that is because everytime we left our room there was a dog wandering the halls...and not always the same dog. There were many in the hotel...and large dogs at that. The bed and carpet were soiled with stains and burn holes. The hair dryer didn't work. And the free breakfast was cold cereal and bagels. Awful!

The hotel was dirty. Didn't vacuum our room. One day they didn't give us any towels/washcloths/hand towels. Not sure what cleaning was done-just made our bed each day.

We had the room closest to the front desk which was extremely convenient for loading/parking and breakfast, but there were TVs blaring and loud conversations going on quite late from other parts of the hotel. I had read other reviews, so wasn't surprised by things like a musty smell or the bathtub not draining quickly. I was surprised by the fact that the window was open (which I discovered after seeing a large spider on the wall) even though the curtains were closed. But for the cheapest place in town, it was okay. The front desk staff seemed extremely courteous and friendly, which I very much appreciated.

Long check in time,no coffee in room,toilet seat broken,funky setup for airconditioner.

For the money, well worth the stay. jack

It is what it is, the rooms are small but it was perfect for just somewhere to crash for the night! By no means was it a fansy hotel but it did the trick!

It was fine for a one night stay. Clean and the people took care of us. It was cheap which is what I wanted and didn't expect much so I wasn't disappointed.

The rooms had previously been smoking rooms and smelled badly from smoke.

Construction thru the parking lot was annoying.. But over all was nice..

This property appears very old and could use some updating big time. There was stains on the carpet and carpet overall appeared dirty. Bed cover was also stained, but sheets were clean. Wireless Internet worked well, but the tv was fuzzy? Overall, I have stayed in worse places, but not that many. But for the price, it wasn't terrible

Quite simply, other reviewers may have had better and simpler experiences but we arrived late at night to groups of fellow residents wandering the parking lot and rear patio, a mistakenly booked single double bed instead of two beds, stains on the comforters, sheets and pillow cases as well as numerous cigarette burns throughout our non-smoking room. We were graciously afforded a new room with two beds but it too was riddled with stains across all linens and more cigarette burns in a non-smoking room. It was very tempting to simply abandon our understandably cheap night's stay for the much newer built Fairfield Inn a few steps up the hill behind the Howard Johnson. I really would recommend finding another place to stay, if even for a night passing through as we were.

ROOM VERY CLEAN , STAFF GREAT,WIFI LEFT SOMETHING TO BE DESIRED. MY BED WAS VERY SMALL FOR QEEN SIZE. ALL IN ALL VERY GOOD

Although this hotel was clean, and convenient to the freeway and places to dine, I found that the front desk person in the morning was extremely rude. She could have found a politer way to tell us that smoking was only allowed at the back of the hotel. Especially since no other staff had said a thing the night before. She was extremely rude, and we will never stay there again...

Small rooms and the smallest bathrooms I have ever seen. Horrible odor in the hallways. My bedspread had cigarette burns on it and I was in a non smoking room. Do not waste your money.

The front office staff was really helpful. The actual motel and breakfast is basic but clean and comfortable.

It was casual but it was little smoking. However it was great for our use.

It was not very expensive, and convenient for the night. The hotel itself is rather run down, and the beadspreads were worn and stained. The service is great and friendly. Hard to get in and out of the hotel since it is behind a Mcdonalds, and nestled between other hotels which have direct street access.

It was okay as a room to stay overnight.

I have stayed at many Howard Johnson hotels previously and had great experiences. This one, however, was quite different. The staff was friendly, but the "non-smoking room" was saturated with the stench of stale cigarettes and the bedding covered in burns. If there had been other hotel rooms available in the general area, I would have stayed elsewhere. I wasn't expecting to be staying in a residential motel, either.

Noisy, Dirty, No staff at counter when checked out, Tub drain didn't work, had to stand ankle deep in water.
