Super 8 Hermitage Nashville - Hermitage

I didn't like this hotel. My room was nasty like it wasnt clean, smell bad, the people next to my room smoked all the time and I was very specific not smoking area. I did not have fridge and 1 of the mattress was stained with something red color and also the carpet too. Horrible. I do not recomend this hotel at all, and I will never stay there again.

The neighborhood was certainly nice enough, but once the sheets slid off the mattress we found it to be covered in what appeared to be dried up blood. Looked like a murder scene. I reported this to the front desk and they said they'd mention it to the manager. As of check out time, the manager never went to investigate. I will be filing a Dept of Health report. That was disgusting.

We needed just a quick place to stay overnight and not be out a lot of money, so this fit out needs just fine.

Very nice for an overnight. Beds were very comfortable. Room was small but comfortable. Fairly Clean bathroom floors need to be cleaned better. Would stay again

I was surprised at the quality of the Super 8 rooms. I haven't stayed in one for years and didn't realize they were owned by Wyndam. This was an overnight. I didn't even stay for breakfast. But it was nice, clean and up to date. I would recommend. Hermitage is just outside Nashville proper and this would be a convenient spot for visiting the city.

It suited our need sfor a one-night stay. More than that would have been a bit uncomfortable with basic bedding, few pillows, basic linen. We really did not suffer at all for one night.

The hotel is older but in decent repair. The sidewalks and hallways looked dirty. The room was comfortable and clean enough. Breakfast was almost all carbs but adequate. The OJ was almost all water. The desk clerk was exceptionally helpful.

It was a nicely run Super 8 with many families and work people staying there. The staff was extremely helpful!

I was suprised how quiet it was. The room was"roomy" and especially clean. I will stay here again!

Would not stay there again

The front desk staff was efficient but not the friendliest I've encountered. They placed us in a room next to very loud neighbors. They would come outside and talk loud and smoke by our room. Then they'd go into their room next t ours and play loud music. We called the front desk and they said they'd call and must have because the noise level got a bit quieter. Then the hwy noise was an issue as well.

The breakfast was horrible. No options to choose from and a complete waste of time. The beds in the rooms also were terrible. My back is still aching at this very moment. My children wasn't happy at all

It's not super fancy... obviously, but it got the job done and didn't smell bad.

Indoor pool was great, needs a changing room inside though...super cold walking back to the room in 30 degree weather.

We got to the hotel, and they started by giving us a room that was already booked. Once we got to our room we were pleased with it, but the bathroom smelled of strong urine throughout our stay. The indoor pool was closed. The fitness center had only three machines... one of which did not work. We had a fridge and microwave which was nice. There was not much to do in the exit, but we were within 20 minutes of places we wanted to visit (zoo, opry mills mall). The breakfast area was very nicely decorated, but the only thing good enough for me to enjoy was the orange juice. I can't complain too much because of the price I paid, but next time I vacation I will remember that you get what you pay for!

Water and water pressure in room was not working.

Nice.May have to track down own coffee in the morning, but nice.

I booked my hotel the night before we were to arrive in Hermatige to drop my son off.at college . I didn't want to spend a lot because we were on a very limited budget but I wanted to be close to the school and his apartment. It was a great location right off the exit and just 5 minutes or less from where we needed to be. The staff was very nice , comfortable bed and the breakfast DIY waffles hot was great . I will for sure be booking this hotel again

the room was clean and quite. It did however smell of smoke and it was a non-smoking. The hotel staff were very nice.

We were in town for Nashville shores and needed something cheap since it was only for one night. We didn't expect much but we didn't know it was going to be like this. My feet were dirty just from walking around with bare feet in my room. The restroom tube was kinda gross. But like I said it was only for one night.

Our room was not cleaned prior to our check in. There were food wrappers, napkins, etc under the night stands and in the restroom. We had to go to the front desk twice to get our key cards reactivated so we could get into our own room and the shower never really produced any hot water. The remote control would not turn on/off the television nor did it adjust the volume. Location is convenient for our purpose of the visit, but really would have been okay spending a little more and staying further away from the neighborhood if we got a better value.

Ice machine on our floor was broken. For breakfast, it was very limited. Out of biscuits when we attended, but had some later. No attendant was in breakfast room to replinish supplies when out. Tables had been used and not cleaned.

I lived in Hermitage for many years, so I know this area well. We absolutely could NOT find the hotel - we could see the building and the sign in the sky, but could not get to it. It DEFINITELY needs to be marked much better. Walking to our room, we noticed the ice machine had a sign stating it was broken. Halls outside getti to rooms are way too dark - felt dangerous. We had a hard time when we initially got there trying to get the lights on. The electrical outlets were few and far. The lights wouldn't come on because it was broken and would only turn on by being plugged in. When we moved the couch to plug it in, there was en empty Boone's Farm bottle behind the couch. Outside of that, the room was clean. Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom light went out and would not come on after that. When we went to check out, no one ever came to the front desk. We had to leave the keys and a note stating we were gone. The office where the front desk was had no air conditioning.

Overall stay was not bad ! First room they gave us had not been cleaned but when I called down the desk clerk said she would bring us another room key. Sooooo I didn't have to go after it. Kids loved the way the pool was set up.

I walked on the floor in the room and my feet were black after walking on the floor. This is very bad; I was awaken with noise on the floor above my room and the staff, mgt made me feel like I was hallucinating. I will not stay at this property again; I hope this hotel is not representative of all Super 8 Hotels. Please take corrective actions. I was going to call the police because of the noise.

Although check in went pretty easy, everything else didn't. We arrived Friday only it to findall the ice machines down. The temperature outside was over 100degrees. To make things worse there wad no attended at breakfast on Saturday and it was messy with spills on the counters on the floors and no one to clean up tables in between. We left to ihop for breakfast. Sunday morning the room was locked for breakfast and still no ice....

Not the nicest hotel but very acceptable. Clean. Pool could be a bit better maintained but acceptable.

First room we were given was very hot even after the AC ran for 4 hours so they moved us to another room which was much more pleasant. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast included waffles, biscuits and gravy along with the usual continental style breakfast. Will stay here again and recommend it to other travelers

Front desk staff was fabulous. Only complaint was one bed needed to be replaced.

Picked this Super 8 motel in Nashville/Hermitage area based on price and location (we drive until late and leave in early a.m.) After checking in, the reservation clerk told me to park out front if I could find a place (she didn't tell me there was extra parking in back, though I'm not sure we'd have wanted to park that far away from our door). Place has an outdoor elevator and doors open to the outside, even on the 3rd floor balcony/wallkway. Parking area was very small with no open spots, but we did park along the driveway until a spot opened up. Room, beds, and bathroom were ok and clean, but carpet was quite old and appeared soiled (pillows were very small & soft). Breakfast was good enough, but it wasn't fully set-up until 8 a.m. (no juice or coffee). When we left and went to the desk, no one was available anywhere (even after ringing the bell for several minutes) and we left without ever seeing anyone. We would not go back to this motel.

Whilst the motel was ideal for our purpose we had initial trouble in the availability of our room. We had faced very long delays in our arrival at Nashville Airport and we did not arrive at the motel until around 3am. We checked in and proceeded to our room to be faced with not being able to get in as the door would not unlock. We spent 30 minutes until we were able to get into the room. We were not happy with the situation as we were worried that we may not be able to exit the room in an emergency. The next day we were allotted another room. Throughout our 8 day stay no laundry was available and this was not a good situation. If all the problems we faced were alleviated then we would be happy to stay at the motel if required.

Chose Super 8 because of pool since we had grand-kids with us. Room was clean. Amanda was super nice. Felt safe with location and very nice area. Pillows in room were not very good. Only real negative I had was the pool area. It really needs some work done there. It is not in very good shape. We would stay there again.
