It was just fine.

The hotel was amazing with so much beauty in the building. I used the spa workout area and that was supper nice.. Our room was big and roomy and elegant. We were greeted with friendly smiles from the reception area. Very polite and helpful. Very first class experience. We would stay here again .

Nice room, clean, beds very comfy. Only complaint, the room was very noisy. It sounded like I was in a wind tunnel

Old world charm with modern comforts! Perfect location!

Grand old style hotel. Would have appreciated a hair dryer in the bathroom, firmer mattress and ins tructions on how to operate the shower ( took me a long time to figure it out)!

I will return

This hotel is in a great location and the staff is amazing but it is an older building and it shows. I was too warm in my room, the elevators took forever and everything is just older. That being said, I would probably stay here again.

We booked the Hyatt at the Bellevue for a Friday night stay in Philly. It was my wife's birthday and everything was a surprise for her. We had tickets to see Lewis Black at the Academy of Music, and Flyers tickets for a 1:00 game Saturday. I knew little of the hotel prior to booking and admittedly booked out of convenience. The hotel was a great bonus! We had drinks in the hotel's lounge in the restaurant, XIX on the top floor before and after the show Friday night. Great atmosphere in that lounge. Saturday morning we had breakfast in one of the restaurants dining areas that are spectacular if you have any appreciation for the architecture of the city. We will definitely be back to the Hyatt at the Bellevue!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! My mother, sister and i got a double queen room. The room was beautiful, spacious, and the beds/pillows were incredibly comfortable. Location was fantastic, right near everything. Staff friendly and helpful. Would love to go back again.

The Hyatt at the Bellevue is an awesome old hotel that has been modernized in just the right ways. The location is right in the middle of almost everything you want to see. We walked to almost everywhere. The service was excellent. We had to ask for the bath towels, however, and because of the odd shape of the room the large flat screen TV was a bit far from the bed, not that we did much TV watching. Also a bit cheesy is the charging for the wifi. For this price the wifi should be free. But aside from these minor quibbles our stay was perfect.

We arrived Saturday at 4pm (check-in time was 3pm), our room wasn’t ready but the front desk informed us it wouldn't be long and took down my number to call when it was ready, he figured in about 20 mins. Left our bags with the bellman who said they would take care of it getting up to our room, and we went through the Shops at the Bellevue to kill some time and grab a bite to eat. An hour passed and we still hadn't heard from the front desk so we went back and asked for an update on the room and were told it was ready. Looked in the bathroom, no shower/tub combo as described in the booking. We got a handicap room with a roll-in shower, not what we wanted. My fiancee called down to the front desk, they did not have any rooms with shower/tub combos left, so we wouldn't be able to change rooms. Also noticed that the "city view" was anything but, our room was on the inside of the hotel and our view consisted of a small window overlooking some sort of courtyard, not what we were promised. Tried to make reservations for dinner at both onsite restaurants, but were told they were completely booked. Tried making an appointment to get a massage at the spa that morning but were told that it was completely booked. Overall, we did not get the experience we were hoping for, especially for a romantic night away from home. Did not feel we got the luxury we paid for, and had I known the experience would've been this way I would've booked at one of the many other hotels in the area.

Great large room but the bed was soft and the air system didn't work to well so I was a bit uncomfortable. But so great in terms of location and value.

A grand old hotel built with great details and flourish in 1929, beautifully restored and maintained. Great for a long weekend stay. Great location for exploring and enjoying Philadelphia.

A classic grand hotel, with great service. Highly recommend the restaurants and amenities on the 19th floor. The architecture takes you back to another era or grandeur and style. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Hyatt at the Bellevue exhibits old world charm in the bustle of Philadelphia Center City. Hotel has age but shows well. Amenities are updated and rooms are furnished in a smart modern, yet comfortable way. Food was delicious and front desk was polite and accommodating. I would recommend to anyone.

Rooms were ver big and beds were great. Service at the hotel was top notch and I would definitely stau there again.

The room was more than we expected! it was huge, very comfortable and nicely decorated! The lobby was very elegant. We visited the downstairs food court a couple of times, which was great! .. we walked from the hotel to all of the touristy stuff Philly has to offer! Excellent service! If we return to Philly, this hotel would be our first option!

First Rate Gym...Best ever

My wife and I enjoyed our stay and found the hotel to be very romantic. Breakfast was very relaxing and pleasant. If you enjoy great old historic hotels this is your place. Elegant and grand, the hotel is a destination unto itself. On Broad Street, convenient, reasonably priced and offering easy parking, this hotel is a good choice for visiting center city Philadelphia. However, if you insist on the most modern accomodations this may not be your place.

The Bellevue is one of the nicest hotels in the country: spacious rooms and elegance everywhere. However, the 12th floor has the conservatory (common space), wgich can get noisy and the rooms are not fully soundproof. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay otherwise.

We enjoyed the location, but there are some issues related to the room's age. The staff was accomodating, but we really did not expect some of these problems from a Hyatt.

Very close to all the historic sites and Jefferson University -- great old classic hotel with outstanding service - built in 1902 and architecturally preserved so it is beautiful -- renovated to modern standards so quite comfortable - highly recommend place if you need to stay near the historic district

Great place to stay and visit the local interests. Very nice staff and the room was clean. The bed was AWESOME. Very comfortable. I was born and raised in Philly and it was fun being a tourist.

Wonderful hotel- gorgeous architecture, extremely polite and friendly staff. Peferct location for enjoying the best restaurants and shopping in Philly.

Very good stay, had a great time. Only a couple minor issues that only bother me because of the price, end table was half/broke and crooked, in room fridge wasn't very cold and door was messed up. In room dining service was excellent!

Price was right, location was convenient to everything, room was spacious. Lots of shopping and dining options, courteous staff, close to subway and historic district- what more could you ask for? If I had to pick one thing for improvement, I would say the elevators were a little confusing- the main ones in the lobby only went to select floors, and the full service elevators were kind of hidden. Kind of minor, once you got used to the layout though. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

It would have been fine if there wasn't blood on the shower walls and a bloodied bandaid left on the bathroom floor.

The room was uncomfortably warm and the temperature controls did not work. Not a good nights sleep. Unusually "vintage" for a Hyatt.

I live in Philly and park monthly in the hotel's garage, but have never been in one of the hotel's rooms. Elegance from a bygone era but with modern amenities. Huge, comfortable room and amazing central location. Plus access to The Sporting Club (separate gym that hotel guests can use) makes it perfect for people who want to exercise.

Excellent --bathroom was a little faded and needed to have new wallpaper etc.But we will return

We dropped off our son to UPenn to start college on move in day. The hotel was accomodating with the SUV and thule box on top. The location is great !Easy subway trip to UPenn off 15th st and easy walking for walnut shopping. Staff was very helpful. Hotel amenities were great. Awesome gym located in the hotel with indoor track.

My only qualm with the hotel was that the service is not on par for a 4 or 5 ate hotel. One thing that bothered me was we weren't told about a breakfast buffet offered at the restaurant - when we went for lunch at 11 we were only offered breakfast and then watched as they spent 30 min setting up the lunch buffet and finally after they were done we were brought our food. If I am going to pay 50 dollars for breakfast it had better be perfect. It wasnt. The overall feeling of the hotel service wasn't on par with other top quality hotels -- even when I tipped for my car or bell service there was no attention to detail you would expect when staying in a hotel that is rated as high as this.
