Everything was excellent. Very pleasant, helpful staff. Comfortable bed in very nicely furnished room. Great breakfast. Will definitely stay here again.

the bar was disappointing (we expected nicer from Adolphus); the room definately was clean and comfortable, but the shower looked old and slightly moldy; the coffee area was in a dark cubby with a lamp that was useless because there was no bulb!; walking through 17th floor, the new painting,carpet, & chair rails made it attractive, but the smell of stagnant water was apparent.

If U need to be in the hart of dallas for an event I highly recommend this hotel.

A beautiful hotel , super friendly stuff at an awesome location ... We loved it

I have stayed here before but this time was sad.. Valet as we drived up was nowhere to be found for 15min. We began to unload our own bags for him then to run up and assist finally. Check in was fine but the room needs a maint. Check spider webs in corners of room bath shower had black mold! Charge for internet that would always get knocked out by next door hotel. Left for dinner to return and no valet again was super frustrating... I love the hotel til this last stay ..... A REAL LET DOWN...

We enjoyed being downtown--our event was at the convention center. It was fun being in a historic hotel, but the hotel could use a bit of a face lift although it is certainly fine. We did not eat in the world-famous restaurant on site but we did eat the breakfast buffet and it was delicious and the service was great. Beds were not that comfortable (a little bit of a roll to the middle going on) but our room was huge.

Size of room was very nice although the room itself was dated.(bathroom especially). Breakfast was amazing!

Valet was $28/day and it was less than satisfactory. Often people weren't there and wait time to get the car was unacceptable. When I'd call to ask for the car there was no answer. Rooms were big, clean, room service was timely but limited.

Very nice hotel for the right price. Not really a luxury hotel at the level of room we had , IMO, but on par with a well up kept or new Comfort Suites or Holiday Inn. Great location. We had only two minor complaints. One, we booked a king and got a queen. We had dumped our stuff and went roaming for a while and didn't realize it til hours later so didn't say anything . Two , we were surrounded by rooms full of college level volleyball players competing at a local tourney, both male and female, so the nights were Spring Break in the hall with roaming parties between different rooms . I don't think luxury hotels rent rooms to swarms of athletic teams . But overall a very nice place if the price is reasonable .

I've stayed all over DFW metro and primarily near uptown - service and attention and quality can't be beat! I will only stay at two primary locations anymore and Adolphus is one of them.

It was beyond FABULOUS!!

I love staying at this hotel when in Dallas! I love the old world charm of the building and well as the great service. The location is great and you can't beat the number of great restaurants that surround this hotel. I can't wait for my next visit!

We wanted to stay in downtown Dallas for a few days during our visit. This hotel was in a great location & allowed us to walk (less than a mile) to the The Dallas aquarium, dealey plaza & many restaurants. It's an older historic building but well maintained. Our room showed some minor wear but overall was clean & well represented.

Great weekend getaway. Walking distance to lots of great restaurants and bars. Hotel is so lovely with old historical charm. The parking is pricey at $28 a night.

The Adolphus has a nice old luxury hotel feel to it. Not sure it is five-star quality though. The rooms were huge as well as the bathroom. The size of the room made it very comfortable. The service was great. The only complaints I have was the 28$ valet that was charged to the room and the 80$ hold on my card. I understand the hold just wish I was told ahead of time. I don't understand why the 28$ valet just isn't included in the price of the room. I mostly just use cash so it would have been nice to know ahead of time. The furniture in the room needed to be updated. The varnish was chipping off, and the headboard was cheap and had left several marks on the wall. Whoever parked my car had changed the time on my dash (probably on accident.) They also had rolled down my window and lost my rangers flag I had just bought the day before. Overall nice hotel, but for the price and hype you expect better furniture, fee and hold notice, and for your car not be messed with. Nothing huge to complain about though.

Great hotel with some amazing history. Perfect location in downtown Dallas with so many attractions within walking distance. And the food at the French Room is as special as the room it is served in.

My wife and I stay here each and every time we come to Dallas for a couples weekend.

Rooms are need of updated decor but staff was friendly and helpful with the exception of valet services on checkout. Room also needed maintenance in bathroom. Broken towel rod, bent lamps, peeling ceiling paint and dirty soap holder.

Got a great deal and it wasn't a bad stay. Room wasn't ready until 3 but was LARGE. I've stayed before and not had this large of a room, almost like a suite. You can hear the elevators running at night but it doesn't keep me from sleeping. Will stay again.

This hotel was great! The location could not be better.. In town for a concert at the American Airlines center and cab ride was $8! The surrounding area is excellent for going out. We parked the car on wednesday when we arrived and never used it again until we checked out on friday. The hotel is clean, quiet, and very spacious! My only complaint was that we arrived at 3:00 (check in time) and our room was not ready. We were told to come back in 45 minutes which we did and the room still wasnt ready. They told us to come back in 20 more minutes. When we came back the third time it was ready so around 5 we were able to get into our room. It was only frustrating because i had worked the night before and had not been asleep! I do however like that we didnt have to check out until 1 pm! That was great so we didnt have to get in a hurry. Overall, this hotel is magnificent and i would definitely return again!

Nice hotel with beautiful furnishings and decorations. Got a great deal for under $100 bucks, so it was worth it to me. However, it is a luxury hotel, so don't expect any freebies. No continental breakfast,etc.

OTHER THAN A 30% ADD- ON FEE FOR PARKING. IT WAS A PLEASANT STAY. OUR PARKING RATE WAS EQUAL TO 1/3 OF OUR ROOM RATE! A BIT EXCESSIVE!
