Rydges Kensington London - לונדון

I would stay at this hotel again. The hotel was clean, service was good and efficient and location was great - 50 metres from tube station. It was convieniently located. The rooms are small but they are adequately furnished so even this was not really a negative. The bathroom was a good size give the overall size of the room. My sister was in a single room that was hysterically small but even this was sufficient as we were out sightseeing all day and didn't really need anything other than a clean room to sleep in. My room accomodated myself and my two daughters one of whom slept in a rollaway cot. It was a bit tight but certainly manageable. Cleanliness is more important to me than having more space. I would recommend this hotel.

Liked the stay here; great breakfast included. Had a third person with us - thought suite meant another room - it doesn't. Still worked fine for one night.

Hotel was updated, clean & comfortable. Great food & nice cozy bar. Staff was very helpful & polite. Train station literally across the street and a bus stop right outside the door. I was traveling with my 7 year old daughter & our executive studio had 2 separate rooms with a TV in each. Great feature when your viewing taste is different from the little ones. Also, the room had a nice desk/vanity where there were several portals for electronics. Great experience!!

Location was brill close to tube Staff and facilities were spot on room was a bit compact but it's not the room that you want when you are visiting London

I don't normally write reviews, but felt I should as my stay was excellent. The hotels location is brilliant, less than a 2 minute walk from Gloucester Road Tube Station. The hotel is modern, very clean and had everything I needed and more. Would 100% stay here again.

Very clean hotel with well equipped, modern rooms. Excellent shower, although bathrooms in single rooms are very small (not unusual for London though). TV with good range of free to view digital channels. Location is great for business guests visiting exhibitions at Earls Court, just one tube stop away. Gloucester Road station is immediately opposite the hotel so almost anywhere in London only a short journey away. The only slight negative is that single rooms do actually only have a single bed. All in all a great hotel though for a reasonable price.

It is not too bad to stay overnight there.

First-class room and loads of places to eat nearby. I had one problem with the room, but the General Manager personally phoned me (brownie points for that) to sort it out. Much better than typical London hotels.

LOved the room and breakfast choices. Would have liked a bath thats all.

we recently stayed at the Rydges Hotel for 2 nights. Enjoyed our stay very much. The service and cleanliness was outstanding. Room was very nice and we had the best sleep ever in a hotel due to a very comfortable mattress and the size of the bed (king). Only small concern was the size of the bathroom. When you are over 6 ft tall it becomes a bit cramped as the space between the toilet and shower is very small, however the shower was very good.

Perfect for a quick overnight stay in London before seeing something at the Royal Albert Hall. Right near Gloucester Road tube station. Would say here again.

requested move from mouldy Lower ground floor room, this was done immediately and the problem reported.New room clean but duvet and runner had some staining.(1 on duvet, several on runner).continental breafast very good (incl in price) probably cost more than a full english .good location .

All in all, a very convenient hotel for the Royal Albert Hall, rooms comfortable, beds huge, spotless room, and a great restaurant. The staff could learn to be a little more 'pleasant', and there was a bit of noise from the road, but I'd imagine the rooms at the back would be lovely and quiet. Bars and bistros all nearby, as well as a Tescos for all the basics!

I ordered a "studio" room and couldn't help but feel cheated as the room was essentially just one room with an extra bed, which I never needed. I was hoping to get a room with a small separate lounge and tv, but I guess in London that may perhaps be asking too much. This is what I thought I paid for though - I wouldn't of stumped up the extra cash if I knew I was only getting an additional sleeper couch bed out of the deal. Surrounding area is lovely, and very convenient. 2 mins to the tube. Room service took 1hr and was almost cold when it got to me though. Not great service!

I t was my first time staying at this hotel.It is a pleasant location and I couldn't fault the room. The hotel is a good base but not the sort of lace one would want to spend anytime in. The bar is small and basic as is the reception area.

We enjoyed a two night stay when we first arrived in London-- and we returned for another night after traveling north for a bit. The hotel was very clean and most of the staff was friendly and pleasant. Several were eager to answer questions and help us with map routes. Rooms are small, but efficient and very clean.

Excellent location for our one night stay in London - we visited the Royal Albert Hall & Natural History museum. Hotel very clean & tidy. Check-in went smoothly. Room slightly small but still acceptable. Very comfortable bed. The only slight negative - the room was warm during the night & air conditioning switched itself on/re-set itself in the morning. Other than that, we enjoyed our weekend in London & our stay at Rydges Kensington Plaza.

We stayed for a week. A family of three in an Executive Studio. Hotel recently renovated in contemporary style. Welcoming lobby. Good sized and clean room. Large enough bathroom. Cordial staff. Weekly Wi-Fi package for a reasonable price, but cumbersome access. Computer stations by the lobby, but internet access only after you parches a code. No printer by the computer. Could not print boarding passes. Very good location. Two minutes from Gloucester Road station with the Piccadilly, Circle and District lines. Easy access to Heathrow airport and around the city. Ten minutes walking to Exhibition Road and Hyde Park. Cafes and grocery stores around the station. Would stay again.

the room was too small and staff very unfriendly?

Our stay was very enjoyable. We liked the little touches like coffee maker, free drinks, meal-deals. Great for Royal Albert Hall.

We were lucky and had a good size room although it was in the basement.Very clean and the staff were very helpful. The continental breakfast was excellent with a very good choice. The access to the tube was very close.

Efficient, cosy, good reception and concierge. We will return.

ideal location for us reception were very helpfull. The toiletries are funky. Would definately stay again. Room was clean and comforrtable. Coffee machine as well as kettle for Tea & mugs not little cups.

Good hotel , breakfast basic but OK , bathroom really really small ,this was the single worst aspect of the hotel .Plus side hotel very clean staff friendly and good location ,but those bathrooms !

The room was very nicely decorated. Bathroom was good sized for a London hotel. We had three people in the room, so my daughter slept on a fold out chair, which she said was not comfortable. The double-sized bed was very comfortable though. There is a 10 pound charge per day for the internet. There are a number of restaurants and museums nearby. It is a block from the Gloucester tube station on the Picadiilly Line, which goes directly to Heathrow airport.

Not the first time I stay there and it wont be the last time either! Great location..just LOVE IT!! Only thing is that there is a weird smell in the corridor (not the rooms) and that the elevator is small..but I try to take the stairs up and down. Good for the heart =) I recommend this place!!

Enjoyed our stay. What the hotel rooms lacked in space, they made up for in comfort. Village like feel to the area.
