Coast Gateway Hotel Sea Tac - סיטק

Surprisingly quiet for a hotel that has a ringside seat for the airplane parking lot at Sea-Tac. The rooms were well appointed and quite clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, providing essentials that were in my mis-directed luggage. Just a few steps from a pub/restaurant which had great comfort food. Complimentary breakfast at the hotel, but we had to leave too early to sample it. I would recommend and I will stay there again on my next trip to/through Seattle.

Everything was fine with the exception of sharing the hospitality room where the continental breakfast was served, with a dog. While on a leash, I find it less than appetizing to dine with a canine.

Best deal near Seattle airport

When looking around Tacoma international airport for lodging I noticed this hotel... We got in late and so that may have been why there was only one person working at the desk. Shortly after checking in we made it to our room... Nice basic... Not to bad for the rate!! This package included up to 7 days parking at master park! And so really I have no complaints... You do need to move your car to master park when you leave... But that is totally worth it given that they stow your car in a secure location... (Gated lot)

Excellent service. Shuttle provided rides to the light rail into Seattle, as well as to the airport. The only thing missing was cable access to PBS broadcasts.

Great airport overnight stay. Great early breakfast at 5 am.

Nice value for the money. Stayed 1 night, we were catching a flight out of SeaTac to Alaska the next morning. Staff was friendly, helpful and the shuttle to and from the airport worked seamlessly!!

very convenient as we had just one night to stay over in Seattle; it helped us also that checkout was not until noon the next day. Nice place.

Comfortable and convenient but for business people who need hi speed internet, this is not the place. Agonizingly slow wireless connection.

The hotel is very nice and clean, service is good, location is very good, will stay at hotel again. The only thing that was bad is breakfast.

I was not expecting this hotel to be as great as it was! I am very happy with my stay here. Clean and VERY comfortable bed, great staff and customer service, very nice. I would stay here again and again!

Nice hotel staff!

The hotel was very nice. The room small, but comfortable. It had a small refridgerator, inside a cupboard, a microwave, coffee maker, iron and ironing board. Being close to the airport the noise was not very bad considering other places. The continental breakfast starts at 5AM until 10AM. I did not try it because I was going to eat at the VA hospital in Seattle, before my appointment. Sharps Roaster and Ale House is across the driveway. Down toward 188th St, about a block away is a very nice Subway sandwich shop with gas fireplace. As you go further you will find a Thai restaurant, Denny's, Jack in the Box, Taco Bell and another family restaurant. All this within a 4-5 block area.

allowed us to check in early and check out late-very helpful staff-walked from Seatac airport-shuttle to and from light rail was great.

Very conveniently located for taking an early flight the next morning after our stay. No problems with noise, comfortable room, pleased to have chosen this hotel. Only significant problem: bathroom door did not close fully.

If this hotel were any closer to Sea-Tac, you'd have tugs in your room. Great place, very accomodating staff.

Liked the Hotel, its amenities, convenience and staff. But for a problem getting into our room - keying issue, and the fact the used coffee grounds hadn't been emptied, it would have rated an overall very satisfied experience. If the need arises to again stay in this part of the SeaTac area, we would seek out the Coast Gateway

The hotel is listed as a 3 star property but it is really a 2 1/2 star. It is an older hotel that has been remodeled. The breakfast is very limited. High price for this hotel; spend abit more for a better property.

Very nice. Hotel staff was very helpful

Very convenient to SEA-TAC Airport. I needed a hotel to overnight between flights, and this one served my needs perfectly. Shuttle service from the airport to the hotel was very prompt, even at 11:30 PM. Free continental breakfast in the morning and another quick shuttle ride back to the airport.

The place was great! Close to the airport and you can walk!

Perfect location for a overnight layover, hotel shuttle work perfect and ran all the time. Clean confortable room not much of a neighbor but worked for one night.

The room was clean and very comfortable. Probably you couldn't ask more for this prise. The only unsatisfied point was the internet access so poor and slow. Other than that I recommend this hotel to anyone who fly in and out of SeaTec.

Nice room very clean, little small but very clean. Shuttle good but have to plan only leaves about every 30 mins but no set schedule. Will stay again when arriving or departing Seattle.

Location worked out perfect for our early morning flight. Close to light rail for last minute treck downtown to watch the Mariners play. Hotel van took us to the light rail stop and picjed us up. Breakfast room open at 5am was nice for our early departure. Was concerned about location next to airport being a noise issue, we didn't hear a thing.

The only downside was the noise level. I was on the top floor and there must have been a heating or cooling unit above me. There was a loud hum all night. I was also on the street side and the traffic noise did seep through. Otherwise a nice hotel. Good location. Near restaurants and airport. The hotel felt clean.

WE LOVED THIS HOTEL. HOTEL VAN WAS VERY ACCOM. THEY DROVE YOU TO THE AIRPORT, THE LIGHT RAIL, A LOCAL CONVEN. STORE. FREE USE OF WASHER AND DRYER. THE BREAKFAST WAS VERY ADEQUATE. VERY CONVENIENT TO ROASTERS RESTAURANT WHERE WE ATE OFTEN. WE STAYED 3 NITES BEFORE OUR ALASKA 7 DAY CRUISE AND STAYED THERE ALSO AFTER OUR CRUISE. GREAT FOR THE MONEY!!

We were very satisfied.

The highlight of this stay was the service. The attitude of each employee we met was - whatever the customer wants, whenever they want it. Great staff. Breakfast was acceptable - nothing stellar. Room was super clean and comfortable.

We could not stay in Seatle during the Labor Day weekend because of all the events happening downtown. This is a great alternative - stay near the airport - hop on the light rail and walk to the events and shopping. A great alternative that worked perfectly. We were able to attend Bumbershoot and do shopping while not having to worry about parking and traffic. Plus this hotel is a great value with terrific people working there.

If what you're after is an affordable room right by SeaTac, this spot will work just fine. Nothing fancy, nothing exceptional, but the plane noise isn't overwhelming, the rooms are clean, and the continental breakfast is...well, it's edible enough. I wouldn't make an extended reservation here if I could avoid it, but for a one-night stay it fits the bill.
