Homewood Suites Boulder - Boulder

I lived in boulder for 4 years and never heard of the Homewood Suites. It's nicely tucked away but still near enough that I don't feel too far from the center of boulder. The room was incredibly spacious and very clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. I would definitely return.

We were very happy with our stay. The room was quiet .Easy access to the main thoroughfares and the university.

Nice hotel, good breakfast, clean and overall a great place to say.

We stayed at the Homewood Suites with our 2 teenagers. We really enjoyed the room. The hide-a-bed didn't get great reviews from my kids, but I was happy with everything else. The service was good and they provided a free breakfast adn even a free dinner on one night (Thursday). The front desk was very helpful in giving me directions. I would stay there again.

I spent over a half hour trying to locate this property when I got to Boulder from Denver. Maybe it was my Apple Maps GPS vs Google but it kept giving me the wrong directions. I stopped into a RiteAid for directions from a worker. When I finally arrived, front desk was very friendly and my one-bedroom room was nice. It was clean and adequate for me stay. Went skiing at Eldora which was about 35 minutes away. I would definitely recommend staying at this property. Good value and pleasant staff. Stayed at Ritz Carlton in Denver on business.

Only issue, shower affected by running water, gets cold fast.

Gorgeous and spacious room that accommodated all four. Only thing we would have enjoyed more is an indoor pool. Breakfast was fantastic. Front desk helped us resolve booking issue quickly and efficiently. We will definitely be back.

I stayed in a suite with a fireplace which made my stay very cozy as it was snowing outside. The only complaint I had was the noise I could hear above my head as the people on the floor above were getting ready for the day. There seemed to be no soundproofing between floors. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious! I thought because the breakfast was free it might just be a continental breakfast, but they had eggs and sausage and waffles, etc. The free wifi in the room was another attraction for me. The woman at the front desk was so nice and genuinely interested in making sure I had a great stay. I told my husband that we will be staying there from now on when we go to visit our daughter at the University of CO.

We were happy with our stay here. Accommodations were adequate. Coffee and breakfast were warm and satisfactory. Would return.

great place and price

I've stayed at this location several times and each time the staff is courteous and friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet is outstanding. The only drawback is the location can be a bit tricky as you have to drive thru a grocery store parking lot to get to the hotel, but once that is understood, all else is top notch.

Positives-Location to U of C Boulder was perfect and employee service was wonderful. Negatives-Although the location was quiet, I could hear the guest in the room above me walking around, snoring through the night and even turning over in bed! Also the bed was extremely soft and sagging; the front desk sent maintenance to a few other rooms but said all the beds were pretty similar. They put a board under the mattress and this helped a bit but after three nights my back was not a happy camper.

Others have noted the location issue. Once you find the hotel though, all was good. The staff was very friendly, breakfast was good, location convenient.

The location is very quiet and private however it's so secluded a traveler can't find the entrance!! Nice breakfast, food needed to be hotter however.

Hard to find, but fantastic hotel and great price

Great hotel just a little hard to find the first time, the strip mall was built after the hotel so you needed to go through the parking lot and around the mall building to get to the hotel. Rooms were great, breakfast was good.

Great place to stay for an extended stay in Boulder. The location is hard to find--it is behind a shopping center! Which sounds weird, but gives it a very quiet location while still being near major streets.

Price was great, room was great, pizza place around the corner great, breakfast great, ability to find hotel not so great. Took a extra few minutes to find the hotel off the frontage road behind the shopping center but hey we got to see a little mor e of Boulder than expected. All in all I am going to stay there again in about two weeks.

Nice breakfast selection. Nice, clean, quiet room. Conveniently located to major roadways that made getting around town easy. Had no problem finding the front door.

Very difficult to find this property as it is tucked behind a strip mall. It was especially challenging on a cold dark winter evening. Signage poor and unclear. Drove around the area for over ten minutes with the GPS telling me I had arrived but all I could see was the strip mall. Other than that it was fine.

Complimentary breakfast and evening welcome are very nice. Atmosphere in hotel and attitude of hotel persons are also great. To those who will stay over 1 week, such services are quite important.

The setting and rooms were great. Only problem, was access from Baseline. There are no signs readily available to recognize location of hotel. We had to call to ask where it was actually located. Other than that, terrific place to stay.

It was what we expected. CLEAN. I would prefer white duvets on the beds instead of old mustard colored comforters and green fleece blankets. Kitchen nice and helpful, Breakfast stops too early for those there on pleasure wanting to sleep in beyond 9 am (breakfast end at 9:30 am on weekdays). Not much around there if you have no car. Safeway, Starbucks and pizza very close and that's it. Great for families needing more rooms/TVs.

Had a wonder, restful stay. Staff was very friendly and complementry breakfast was one of the best . Will use this hotel in the future. 10 10 10... very quite also , I loved it.

Very nice place to stay. Difficult to find due to the small direction signs. The place is behind the former Blockbuster store.

Access to the hotel is not the most convenient, but routes are well marked. The room was clean and nice. The sofa bed was not comfortable, but most aren't :) The full breakfast was delicious - with a very nice variety. Overall, the experience was great and I would recommend this hotel to a friend.

Very nice hotel - once you find it. It's visible but for a first time stay it's hard to find - the hardest time I ever had finding a front door to a hotel. But once we werre there, very nice service, great room with an adequate full size kitchen and right in the parking lot of a Safeway so we could shop for supplies to make lunch and dinner.

I enjoyed my recent stay at Homewood suites, Boulder. The hotel is conveniently located behind a shopping complex, so most of the things you need are within a walking distance. Also there is complimentary breakfast and limited items for dinner as well. I recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable stay, especially extended stay.

Location was difficult to find at first, very difficult. It is behind the “Meadows on the Parkway” shopping plaza and the GPS did not like the address. You really have to navigate to Laguna Place to get to the hotel easily. I would recommend navigating to the Kaiser Permanente Health building on Mohawk Dr, then follow Laguna Pl past the Boulder Public Library Meadows Branch to get to the hotel. The staff was awesome. We had a problem with WiFi in our room, no coverage, and they promptly sent a maintenance person and installed an extra wireless access point just for us to make sure we had service. Breakfast was great each morning. The staff in dining was very friendly and courteous. Personally, my only complaint was I did not care for their coffee at all. I was surprised that with all the local coffee shops that they had not partnered with anyone to bring in some great coffee. I have traveled to many hotels and the coffee here was, well, I just did not care for it at all. I can’t speak to the evening meals or happy hour, but overall a great place from which to explore Denver, the mountains, and other local places. I would definitely stay here again. One last note: our last night we had others in our building have a fire in their fireplace (the one building offers rooms with real wood burning fireplaces, plaza D). I would not do that again. Our room really smelled like fire and it had me worried. Next time I will choose a room without a fireplace. Overall a great experience.

Really impressed with Homewood Suites in Boulder, CO. The suite and kitchen are nicely sized for a family or a few nights stay. We had a large group all staying at this complex, and we would gather each morning to eat the free breakfast, rearrange the dining room to suit our group size, and sit for hours drinking coffee and chatting. We could get a little loud, but the staff was always friendly and helpful. The bed and pillows were very comfortable -- so much so that I am going to replace my bed at home with a pillow top mattress. Very conveniently situated near a grocery store and Rite Aid, and there's a park up in back for kids or running. Highly recommend.

Everyone ws so very cordial, friendly, helpful, outgoing, and wonderful! We shall stay there again! Thank you ALL!

Very good experience the hotel is very clean and comfortable, the staff is very nice and responsive. The rooms compare to hotels costing much more and are a great value. All the amenities were great and I was very pleased with the experience staying there.

First rate hotel with an exceptionally friendly and courteous staff. Above average breakfast and a bonus light weekday evening meal. This will be our destination when we stay in Boulder

An indoor pool and hot tub would have made our stay much better.

The hotel is located behind The Meadows shopping center, within walking distance of a grocery store, drug store and several restaurants. It is a bit hard to find, but you can reach the entry by going all the way around the east side of the strip mall past the former Blockbuster (to the left as you enter the shopping center from Baseline). The staff was very friendly and accommodating and gave us a room close to the dining room for our elderly father. There is a free full breakfast and nightly light dinners Monday through Thursday with a good variety of food. The room had two comfortable double beds and a pull-out sofa. The internet was free and easy to use and there was a reasonable choice of television channels. Our room had a refrigerator, microwave, two-burner stove and dishwasher and came with a few dishes and silverware plus cooking equipment. The location at the corner of Baseline and Foothills Parkway made it easy to access anywhere in Boulder by car. The spaces in the parking lot are very narrow and we had trouble parking a standard-sized car between the lines, but there is plenty of parking available.

We chose this hotel due to it's proximity to my father who is off of Table Mesa. Due to its access from FootHills Parkway, Rt 36 and Table Mesa, ideal location for picking up relatives at DIA airport ( 70 - 270 - 36) and being close to my Dad. Though it is in a shopping Mall and a little tricky to find initially at night, mall turned out to be a plus especially if you are plannning an extended stay and want to cook in your suite - Safeway rocery store is right there. Rooms were small for a suite but everything you needed was there. Rooms were comfortable, good linens, furniture and amenities. One of the other reasons we chose this hotel was the ability to congregate en-masse in the lobby/breakfast room. Comfortable tables and chairs, a fireplace (though not on while we were there in early March. For the most part an excellent free breakfast with changing menus. They even provide a free light dinner Monday thru Thursday though we did not partake. The only negatives of the free meals were an occasional lack of quick resupply - you often had to ask for things and I thought the coffee was weak! However the staff was very accomodating, helpful and friendly. We did get what I thought was an excellent rate via Hotels.com approximately 30% of rack rates - for the size, quality and location for the hotel. We did not ue the outdoor pool as it is open only during the summer but the grounds and area around the smallish pool seemed nice and well maintained. Aagain, overall a B+ experiance.
