Miramar at Waikiki - הונולולו

We had awesome stay, & excellent service but had trouble with the temperature of the water in the shower.

Great central location, though the hotel overall and the saggy beds in particular seem a little worn and in need of makeover. The location is great, with supermarkets and the beach only short distance away. Right on main shopping area. Good service, efficient. Sound basic accommodation with a short walk to beach.

It was near a lot of restaurants and shops and easy to walk to places to eat and shop

My stay was too short (one night). For the time I was there, the staff was friendly, the room was clean, the view was wonderful. I would stay there again.

We went to 3 hotels while we were in Waikiki, I would highly recommend Marina Towers.

would have preferred a kettle rather than only a coffee machine to make tea.

Definatly need wifi in the rooms, very inconvenient to have to go sit in the lobby and the slips of paper to get on were complicated.

You get what you pay for with Waikiki hotels and we paid less so expected a lower quality. Plus points, it's clean and a great location. Negative points, decor is dated and service was OK but nothing spectacular. You get what you pay for and I'd say this is definitely value for money!

I was well pleased.

I was happy with the hotel except the fact that I called and they old me I could check in at noon and had to wait until 3 pm to get my room. other then that it was great.

Though obviously an older property, the Miramar was well kept and uptodate. We were extremely pleased with the service provided by Peter at the Bell Desk and even Charles (security) went out of his way assist us. Did I mention the included breakfast? A very pleasant surprise. Full breakfast with bacon, eggs, etc. Overall I would definitely stay there again, and for multiple days

Hotel was well located, friendly and helpful staff. Housekeeping was very good. Only thing was that WiFi was only available in the pool area and the lobby. Had internet connection in room but that was useless as i do not know anyone that connects to internet like that anymore

The rooms are nothing like the photos posted online. Also, they conveniently do not post pictures of the bathrooms. The top couple floors have been renovated somewhat recently, and have ok rooms. (Bathrooms still out-dated and gross.) Bottom ~15 floors are awful. Dirty, stained walls. Ceiling over tub sagging in. Tub and 70's style tile is dirty. Also, the neighborhood is very average. No good food. Lots of bad chains (KFC, BK, Round Table)

Would like to see a better wifi system.When restarting pc having to relog on making it inconvenient doing a windows update to sync on the restart

Check-in was a breeze, and the hotel makes a good first impression. It's in a good location - easy walk to many restaurants and shopping, close to the beach. After arriving in the room, I was disappointed to find that the reasons I booked the room were not present in the actual room. Within a couple minutes, I went back to reception and discussed the issue with the front desk. The service there was superb - it took a few moments to check my booking, and the hotel had availability to move me to the room I had actually booked. No one was sure what the mix up was, but it was quickly and easily resolved. I did not go in the pool, as it is a very small and closed off area, though it did seem to be rather empty in the late morning. It did look clean and well-kept. I could see staying at this hotel again, especially knowing that the front desk is top notch and tried their best to assist. They made me feel welcome, and after the initial setback, really did strive to make things right. The level of service seems higher than similar hotels - I never had to wait here as I have at other Waikiki reception lines. The bell desk was also great - kept the luggage safe and secure after check out and before departure. Everyone was always friendly - high quality service all around.

The staff was great and the hotel location is prime, especially for the price. The hotel shows it's age a little, but it's far from a dump. A great place to stay close to the beach, shopping and food.

Only 2 block away from the beach and across the road from restaurant and some of the best Japanese eateries in Waikiki. The room is small but clean and comfortable. All the staff there are really friendly and helpful. Wifi access is free on lobby and pool area, but not available in the room.

We had a great time! The staff were incredibly helpful at the desk and the men at the bell desk were as well. Being able to store our luggage there until our flight time.

Location was good as was price and I guess this is an instance of you get what you pay for. Room was relatively clean but could do with a major refurbishment. The breakfast restaurant sevice was excellent.

It was very nice.Nice location.Walking distance to Waikiki beach.International Market place is with in 5 mins walking distance.As a whole our stay was nice.I would like stay one thing though that parking is really expensive at this hotel.It's $20 per day which really bad.But we were knew it :(.

This is the most consumer unfriendly hotel that I have ever stayed in!!!! We made a reservation for March 15 but because of airline flight changes, we had to add the night of March 14. When I checked in, I requested that we check in for both nights, 314 & 15. We were told that they could not do that because they were treating our reservations as two separate reservations in their computer. There fore, we would have to call "Room Control" between 6 and 7 AM on 3/15 to see if we could stay in our room. I called at 6:15 AM on 3/15 and I was told that we would have to vacate our room by Noon and check back in after 3PM. It is a Japanese hotel and nobody speaks clear enough English to discuss the stupidity of their position. The did offer a $60 fee option for me to keep the same room. The internet is not WiFi and it has very poor service. There is no heat in the rooms and there are no extra blankets. The room temperature dropped to 63degrees F during the night of the 15th and I froze but they didn't ruin my vacation with my grandson. There are many many better hotels adjacent to this property.

My wife would probably say that the room could use modernizing, and maybe retiling in the bathroom, and she'd probably be right. But for the money this was a great hotel in my opinion. Wonderful service and super-friendly staff. Clean and comfortable. No frills, but nothing missing. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Top Waikiki hotels are really expensive and some of the cheaper ones are not very good at all. The Miramar is mid priced and good value. Don't expect the Hyatt. Know that the property is 30 years old and has some rough edges but its generally clean, comfortable and has great staff. If they have availability they will give you an upgrade to a newer room so arrive early if you can. You can't beat the location right next to the International Marketplace and just a couple of blocks from Waikiki Beach

I reserved a room last minute on a friday night and they were very accomodating on getting me a room. Once we got there they let us check in at 11:30 a m and they also gave us a wonderful ocean view king room on the highest floor. I was satisfied and very pleased with the service.

Would stay there again.

Our room is on the 21st floor which gave us a good view of the city and part of the ocean. The room size is just right but its condition is not what I expected for the price I paid. The carpet looks old and worn out. The sliding patio door needs a hard push to lock. It shakes and creates a vibrating noise during high winds which is annoying when you're trying to get a sleep. The front desk staff members are okay but not exceptional.

Staff not very friendly.. no dining facilties..bed horrible...ac couldnt regulate to a comfortable level..bed linens smelled

The location of this hotel was a plus. Very easily accessable to shops along Waikiki Beach which opens late. The room was fairly comfortable and clean.

Older hotel. Bathroom could use updating, rooms were clean. Great location!

This hotel has very poor customer service all the way down from the management to the housekeepers. To begin, we booked a king bed room and was given a double bed room with tiny full size beds. Then, the water in the bath tub flowed extremely slow. Lastly, the housekeeper entered our room without knocking when we had the "do not disturb" on the door! When I reported it to management, they made me out to be a liar. I will never go again.

Only stayed one night but recommend it for a longer stay too.
