Starke - Days Inn - סטארק

One of the worst places I have ever stayed

while returning I stayed in the hotel. But it is worst hotel during this trip. A frog welcomed for the first floor room. it is quite dirty as well. So changed room but still looks not so good. Breakfast is supplied but not so good except waffle. price does not match to the quality.

IT WAS THE WORST MOTEL I'VE EVER BEEN AT . iT WAS SO BAD ALL TOGETHER, i COULDN'T EVEN STAY THER. YOU SHOULD HAVE NEW MANAGEMENT TO CLEAN UP THIS PLACE. I WILL NEVER STAY AT A DAYS INN AGAIN.

This was one of the most run down hotel rooms i have ever stayed in, holes in the walls, seat cover worn with foam protruding, outlet was so worn laptop plug would not stay in.

The hotel is very run down and dirty. the front desk help was good. wouldn't stay there again

It was OK!

The hotel is old and needs updating but it was clean and pretty much my only option.

The room was very nice , refrigerator was kept sodas very cold which was great , it was clean and comfortable. I only had 2 negative things to say , 1 minor - they didn't place a bath mat in the room and more importantly , we had a late check in , check out time isn't until 11:00 a.m. yet the maid knocked loudly on our door around 9 a.m. to ask if we wanted house keeping services ( waking us up ) that was not appreciated , it is my understanding the reason you check out at 11 yet check in isn't until 3 pm is to allow time for housekeeping services.

"Spotted" toilet was obvious once you raise the seat!! Alarm clock was dusty and sticky. Glad the sheets were clean. Even after a complaint and housekeeping 're-do' when we went to dinner, you'd never know it had been there -- except they took one of 2 hand towels. Oh, the desk chair was ripped and 'leaking' padding.

OK..AC was weak..could not cool room down sufficiently

We were just staying overnight before a long drive back. The room had not been pre-air conditioned so it felt muggy and hot when we first checked in. There were bags of popcorn, chips and snacks left from the previous guest in the night stand, so thorough cleaning is not a priority to them. Only two towels in the bathroom and the toilet did not flush properly (had to hold the plunger the entire time to flush). Also, the attached restaurant/lounge wasn't open due to "no bartender"? Basic cold breakfast samplings and the coffee wasn't good. The only positive was the staff behind the counter who were very friendly and knowledgeable.

When first arriving, hotel staff was helpful and nice. Once in the room though, had to buy febreeze because it had a funky smell. But once there, overall stay was good. Housekeeping was excellent, a spanish lady was helpful.

There was a young man working the desk the nite I checked apr 30. He was absolutely wonderful. Helpful friendly cheery. He did everything he could to make my stay grt. He needs to be recognized for his attitude and hard work. Sorry I didn't get his name but I checked in at 2am on the 1st of may

I would go back again.

Was satisified with the room. Would have been better if the facility had a workout room. The continental breakfast did not have alot of variety. Only apples available, no other fruit and one day there was not any fruit at all.

We had a very nice stay. The rooms were clean and it was quiet. The staff was friendly.

Had an event at the European Rally School in Starke and decided to stay at the Days Inn which was reasonably priced as well as well located. Close to good food and other facilities. Beds were confortable and clean as well as the rest of the room. Place could use a lift but everything worked out fine for me and me mates. Will be going back for more events and will stay again at the Days Inn. No complaints.

This motel is right on the main thoroughfare. It is not great but not bad for an in/out stay. I wouldnt consider this for any long stay over. The breakfast was OK but nothing to compare to other Days Inns. The room could have been better maintained.

Comfortable room, convenient to my activity near Stark, no complaints.

My family and I came to Starke for a funeral and stayed here. Everything was pretty good except that the Continental Breakfast was somethng to be desired! We have 3 children and they were so looking forward to the waffles, NOT! The waffle iron wasn't cooking the waffles all the way, YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The room was clean, fresh and furniture was very good with comfortable beds.

Interior of rooms are worn. Looks like heavy traffic. Did not see volume of traffic. Think they should dress up and clean up insides of rooms. Obvious that theydonot need to revive the inventory of rooms.

The hotel was nice it was in the location we were looking for but it needed some work. The carpet was coming apart by the wall the tiles in the bathroom were cracked and loose. The bed was comfortable basically we just needed a place to stay seeing as though we live 4 hours away and were taking our boys to a football game the following day in Jacksonville.

The price was reasonable and the room was found to be clean with plenty of room inside to move around

tHE FRONT OF THER BUILDING LOOKS GREAT, BUT THE REST IS NOT VERY NICE TO LOOK AT.

They advertise a restaurant and lounge and both were closed down. The hair dryers in the rooms look like a 1940's vacuum cleaner hanging on the wall. The mattress and pillows were like rocks. The continental breakfast was disgusting and consisted of a loaf of bread, some Little Debbie cakes, some generic waffle mix that tasted 100 years old and some watered down OJ in a coffee dispenser. My air conditioner in the room would work during the day and shut down at night. It literally would not turn on. Like it was on a timer or something. Therefore I woke up sweating every night. I reported it to the office and they said there was nothing wrong with it. Need I say more?

WE just needed a place to crash for the night. No harm done and it worked out just fine. No complaints.

Facility is rather old and not in the best of condition. Ice machine in rear not working--required long walk to front. Handle not fastened to water control in shower, hard to turn on and off. Walk in type shower, curtain ripped and stained. Stool/seat in shower had collection of old soap remnants stuck to seating surface. Disgusting! Saturday night meant a party in the rooms above, too, too noisy unending until 1:00 am.

HOTEL WAS CLEAN,GROUNDS WHERE OKAY. STAYED TWO NITES,ROOM SERVICE DID NOT MAKE THE BEDS,DID NOT PUT IN CLEAN TOWELS BUT TOOK THE WET ONES,CALLED THE FRONT DESK AND THEY BROUGHT US SOME TOWELS,DID NOT PUT IN DRINKING CUPS,NO TISSUE IN THE HOLDER, THE FLOOR OF THE TUB WAS SO SLICK HAD TO HOLD ON THE BAR WHILE SOAPING,TALKED WITH THE MANAGER ABOUT A TUB MAT BUT THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY.OUR STAY WAS JUST OKAY,NEED HELP ON DOING THE LITTLE THINGS.

Rooms were clean. Could have been stocked a little better. At first had great front desk service then turned disaster. But I believe the problem was taken care of. Very friendly managers. All in all I would stay again if I couldnt find a closer hotel to my destination.

Great price for a good hotel. The only bad thing about it was the continental breakfast; the coffee and juice were watered down and the small selection of breakfast foods were tasteless at best.

The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The bed was a little hard, but overall it was a good experience.
