InterCityHotel Wuppertal - וופרטל

Convenient near the main train station and Schwebebahn, but noisy with open window.The first room we got was about a two star, smelled of stale smoke (even though rated as non-smoking). We were able to change to another room, this one perfect and corresponding to advertised 4-star rating. Breakfast buffet was great, much variety. The free transit pass is a great bonus.

Everything that was advertised and that I expected was delivered. No complaints. Right in the middle of the city.

clean hotel in convenient location close to Wuppertal Railway Station. Staff friendly and professional. on the downside, this hotel needs some updating, particularly the bathroom facilities. The breakfast is great and the public transport ticket you receive on arrival is definitely a plus. I can recommend this hotel for business travellers as well as tourists.

The hotel was mainly nice, and it is easy to reach downtown Wuppertal, train station, university etc. Plenty of restaurants and shops in the neighbourhood. Unfortunately there's a huge construction site right next door, which makes the hotel more difficult to reach. The room was otherwise nice, but the table was disgustingly dirty&dusty, as if it had never been wiped clean. Also, I could not lock the door of my room from the inside. Excellent breakfast, ok fitness room. The staff was very pleasant. A nice extra was a ticket that could be used for public transport: I used it to take the schwebebahn and to travel to airport on my last day.

Völlig abgewohnte Zimmer, Bad mit speckigen Fugen, ein viel zu schmales Bett, keine Klimaanlage, ein mit 12 EUR überteuertes Frühstück, Lärm von beiden Seiten; Fazit: Nie wieder!

Völlig zufriedenstellend.

Ankom meget sent, derfor var det ikke engang muligt at købe en sandwich i baren eller andet der kunne spises.Svært at finde indgang til hotel fra parkeringshus, måtte derfor rende rundt for at finde indgang. Medarbejderne henvendte sig til mig på tysk på trods af at jeg talte engelsk til dem, men eller ok, hotellet er af en ok standard til prisen.Kan godt anbefales for en enkelt nat eller 2.

Hotellin erinomainen sijainti esim. junalla tai bussilla tultaessa kaupungiin. Lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä. Erinomainen valinta esim. messumatkan yhteyteen. Hotellissa kaikki tarvittavat perusasiat kunnossa.

Staying in InterCityHotel Wuppertal was really much better than I expected. After reading a lot of bad comments on the booking site, I was preparing for a bad hotel where the coffee was cold. This was not the case! Instead I walk into this beautiful hotel (many hours before the check-in time - and they didn't even charge extra!) just in time for the breakfast, and the coffee was goood and hot. One day when I needed a place to practice my music in the evening I didn't want to make noise in my room, so I asked the hotel staff for a conference room or something similar to stay in for the evening. I was asked to wait for two minutes as a hotel worker was preparing something for me. I was then given a large breakfast room to play in where they had moved the things to the side so I could play my guitar. They also serviced me with a cold drink free of charge. I am very satisfied with my stay in InterCityHotel Wuppertal.

Das Hotel mag an sich sauber und orentlich sein, der Service freundlich, ich erhielt sogar ein kostenloses Upgrade, aber das Zimmer das ich erhielt hatte vor kurzem einen Wassereinbruch (gelbe unrenovierte Decke, auch im Flur zum Zimmer war der Schaden sichtbar). Silberfische im Bad die sich munter tummelten, das machte das zur Toilette gehen oder Duschen relativ ekelig. Daher die insgesamt negative Bewertung.
