Good clean rooms !!

I would not have been as happy with the stay except we got an upgrade to a suite because they were out of non-smoking Kings.

It was awful. The frig and microwave we requested was not there when we arrived at midnight. There was feces on the toilet seat. We stayed in a different room that night and cancelled the rest of our reservation the next morning. Needless to say, they charged us absolutely nothing. Only good thing about the place.

I don't live in Texas and was NOT used to the heat. I didn't feel like the A/C did its job and wound up having to buy a fan to cool things down. Also, the ice makers on each floor were not working and would have to go all the way to the lobby to get ice. On the other hand, the staff was super nice and accommodating. They changed my room after the first night to try and put us in a room where the A/C worked better and were super nice and understanding about it. If it was not for the great staff, I might have found a more cooler place to stay.

This hotel exceeded all of our expectations. The staff was very helpful and we had an excellent meal at the Texas Seafood Restaurant which is within walking distance of the hotel.

This time was the worst ever. The room was not clean, floors in hallways dirty, trash barrel near our room. Our room was totally missed for cleaning. Non supportive front desk staff. Meeting room was smelly with odors. This stay was horrible.

Perfect location for meetings. Hotel is old looking and need more cleaning.

Our room was nice and my only problem was that none of the ice dispensers worked on any of the floors except for the main floor. There were ice machines on every floor but none of them worked. I didn't like having to go all the way down to the front lobby each time just to get ice.

This is a great value for the money.It was close to where we needed to go,Hotel was clean and neat, bed was comfortable,Breakfast was excellent, especially the coffee.Staff was pleasant. It's not the Marriott,but it suited our needs.We would stay there again

The hotel smelled. The exercise equipment was broken, there was water but not cups, no towels and no air circulation in the tiny exercise room. The rooms were dated and hard to control the temperature. The staff, however, were very nice.

The bed was very hard.

The location was very difficult to get to even though you can see it from the freeway, I requested a non smoking room and was giving a smoking room, the light in the bathroom did not work, and we did not have water for over 8 hours, I was late to me appointment because they finally turn the water on around 7 AM I understand emergencies but the employees were not help at all.

Hotel was convenient, clean, and worth the $.

Hotel was good for the price. Could use a renovation. Noticed bugs in corridors but didn't see any in room.

Would have gave a 5 if the hot water hadn't went out but they did off to go over to the hotel next door for free to take a hot shower.

A nice enough place, located right next to I-10. The neighborhood isn't bad; I guess one guy's comment was prompted by the fact that the hotel is situated next to a "cabaret" which looks a little seedy. I can't be sure, since I didn't visit it, and you can't see inside from the road. But the nearby neighborhood looks perfectly safe, the doors of the hotel open into the hotel (not out into the street), and there are many perfectly legitimate businesses in the area. We stayed one night. The A/C wasn't on in the room when we walked in, but that's easily fixed. The beds are comfortable; the room and bathroom, clean. The staff was friendly and accommodated our request for a late check-out. Even the normal check-out time (noon) is more lenient than most places I've been lately; everyone seems to want you out at 11am now. The breakfast was a decent enough "hot" breakfast: danishes, juices, waffle maker w/mix, toasts, and pigs in a blanket. I hadn't seen those before, and while I didn't try one, they looked pretty happy sitting in a warmed pan. We would definitely recommend the place, and will likely stay here again.

This place stinks and the A/C does not work. We moved 3 times before we found a room and by that time we already had to leave. The only thing they had better than Inn at the Water Part in Galveston is they actually had good breakfast. All in All is if you want a geto place for alot of money this is the place for you. But I will NOT be going back there EVER AGAIN!!!!

Wasn't really impress with the quality of the hotel for the money. The area that hotel was loacted in I would not feel comfortable going out in at night. Called for linens and has to wait 20-30 minutes for the to arrive.

It was a very friendly hotel staff. The room was clean, the hotel was clean. They served food in the eveing the first day there, and breakfast in the morning. I would stay here again.

this hotel was more than we expected. The front office was very polite. We arrived very late but was treated like we arrived there early, very nice. The rooms were very clean. The bed was very, very comfortable. They brought us a microwave to the room immediately upon our request. They offered extra accomodations in which that impressed us. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and we will be definately staying there again!!!!!!!!!

This is a nice place to stay for business. Breakfast selections are very nice, and the staff was very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay and will use the same hotel next year for our annual business conference stay.

This hotel is great if you are traveling East in the morning. It makes rush hour much more bearable since it is on the East side of the city. Godd room for the price.

Good basic hotel for the price, near interstate, clean rooms, good for rest on trip West.

this hotel was just like it was promised, very clean with very comfortable beds and nice comforters. upon check-in we asked for a room downstairs and the attendant made the effort to accomodate us on the first floor, he was very kind and attentive. breakfast in the morning is very good. you really get a very nice return for you money staying at this hotel.

Thids was our 2nd time at this hotel in the last 3 months and both times we had a plesent stay. The rooms were clean and th e staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend it very much, it was worth the money.

As always it was a peaceful and very hassel free stay. I love how clean this hotel stays and their rooms always smell clean and fresh very friendly staff and their breakfast is always fresh and hot. I will always stay with them its safe and convinient.

For the price this Hotel is awesome. The beds are fantastic and the service is excellent. The staff helped us and answered our questions. Again, the rooms are clean, spacious, and the beds are out of this world! We are definitely going back. Neighborhood did not look safe but you are staying inside the hotel... so who cares.

Booked the hotel at last minute because we were exhasted after driving across TX for 14 hours. It was easy to find right off the 10 fwy. I was extremely happy that the bed was comfortable that I wanted to take the quilt with me. The shower head had different settings & plenty of hot water. I slept well know that security was always walking around the premises (spoke to him a while). The hotel room & premises were very clean. The breakfast was good & i liked the Texas shaped walfels in the morning! Nice little touch! will look Baymont hotel chain when I travel

THE GSR WAS VERY NICE AND HELPFUL.ROOM SMELLED LIKE MOLD. RAINED THE NEXT DAY AND THEIR WERE BUCKETS ALL OVER THE LOBBY.THEIR WAS NOT A REFRIGERATOR OR MICROWAVE IN THE ROOM. I SPOKE TO FRONT DESK WITH MY CONCERN WHEN CHECKING OUT AND HE SAID IF I HAD LET THEM KNOW THEY WOULD HAVE PUT THEM IN THEIR FREE OF CHARGE. THAT WAS NOT ACCEPTABLE TO ME BECAUSE I FEEL THEIR SHOULD HAVE BEEN SOME TYPEOF SIGNAGE SAYING THEY ARE AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST.I DIDNOT PUSH THE ISSUE WITH THE DESK CLERK BECAUSE AFTERALL, THEY ONLY WORK THERE.
