Hilton Garden Inn Austin Downtown/Convention Center - אוסטין

Our only complaint--the last several stays there we were not assigned a room with a view facing outside, why? Maybe the gear the squeels the loudest receives the most grease! I'll remember this the next stay.

The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping did not get the idea of not changing towels everyday, even though I kept hanging them up as instructed on the card. I didn't downgrade them for this, since it did not negatively impact my stay. Breakfast was awesome.

I stayed at this hotel for a conference nearby. The service was top-quality - their tip to get lunch at Easy Tiger was great! The hotel was an easy walk to 6th street bars/restaurants. The room/hotel were very clean and professional. My only gripe is minor and that is the bathroom was pretty small so the toilet was awkwardly in the way no matter where you were. Overall, it was a great experience though.

We checked in past midnight after a long day of travel and we were looking forward to a good night's rest, but the sound of the interstate right below our room kept us up much of the night. We asked to change rooms but every room was booked. The manager was able move us the next day to a different room further away from the interstate. We thought that the hotel was trying to accommodate us, but the room turned out to be much smaller and it was right next to a group that was literally hosting a convention in their suite. The group was having a hospitality suite with drinking and socializing. We had a poorly insulated door connecting our room to theirs so we heard loud talking all day and until midnight for several days. As a bonus, the wheels on the bed frame were broken off and replaced with wooden boards that caused the bed to lean to one side. We felt like we were being punished for asking to change rooms. The staff and the hotel seemed nice, but we didn't have a very enjoyable stay at this hotel or this room.

Room was clean and spacious and bed was comfortable. While the room had a large window, unfortunately it faced inward toward the mezzanine. Location was good - very close to downtown. My only gripes are that guests are forced to use the elevators in the lobby (no stairs?) and wait times for an elevator were a few minutes or more when busy. Some of the hotel staff could probably do better with customer service, too.

Nice hotel that close to both good food and drink. They were doing work on some of the lower floors, but it didn't take much away from our stay. Nice staff. Desk could use people who were more fluent in English. I'll never understand why so many hotels use people who didn't grow up in America, and understand the language better. Still, overall a good place to stay.

THe hotel is in a great location for restaurants and bars and the staff is very helpful and friendly

Location is great! Kinda pricey. Hotel parking $28, & the guy with the dorky glasses working it was incredibly rude. Clean room. You can hear traffic on I35, but it wasn't unbearable. Front desk was nice. Got king w sofa bed for 4 people...no pillows or blankets for sofa bed, so I had to ask front desk to have someone bring it. Felt like if you have a reservation the room should be ready for the amount of people you reserved the room for. If you are wanting to hang out on 6th street, this is a good hotel. I like the security there. Didn't go to pool, fitness center, or dining room. There was a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in my room.

The hotel was a good home base for exploring downtown Austin. However, it is a bit run-down in spots and the pool and hot tub are super small and are in a position that never gets any sunlight and is also a wind tunnel, so although we tried to use them a couple of times while we were there, it was pretty much impossible. The pool water was frigid and everyone was using the hot tub because of that so the hot tub water was pretty filthy.

Very convenient. You can't beat it, just walk down and lots of restaurants and shops to choose from. Nice decor all-around, bedding, furniture - all nice but the popcorn ceiling in the room gives it a more down-market feel. The staff was great. Everyone from the front desk to the restaurant were friendly and professional. We had a room facing freeway and there was a bit a noise, but not enough for me to feel uncomfortable. If you are sensitive to this, ask for room facing away from freeway.

My stay was acceptable but for the cost of the room and parking fee I expected more from this hotel. We had a drain in the bathroom sink that was VERY slow, bedside lamp had a broken on/off switch that I had to unscrew the light bulb to turn it off. Only received 3 towels for a family of 4.

Wifi worked, breakfast was plentiful, cookies a nice touch, great location, powerful hot shower, clean .... i'd stay there again in a minute. Less than 5 min walk to conv center.

Courteous and helpful staff and great location helped to make our stay a great time. Valet service was outstanding.

The location is perfect. Very close to 6th Street. Iron Works BBQ is three blocks to the southwest. We had a room on the south side of the hotel on the 11th floor and did not notice the noise from the construction or the interstate. The bar on the top floor has a great view. Although the valet service is expensive, it was well organized, quick and convenient. Local calls are not free, they cost $0.50. The hotel pool is small. I would stay here again.

Great service location was great, really close to 6th st with in walking distance. Wouldn't doubt about staying there again

My overall rating of my stay at the Hilton Garden in Austin,TX was great. We really enjoyed the great location, we literally walked from out room down on to 6th street, and wasn't not really that noisey at all. The only issue I had was getting acces to my vehicle once giving the keys to the vallet, I would assume it wouldnt be an issue to get items from my vehicle without an issue but the vallet guys guarded my keys even from me, the owner, but other than that service was good.

I was extremely pleased with the Hilton Garden Inn. It is reasonably priced for a downtown hotel and is the perfect location for 6th street fun! The hotel has a walkway directly to 6th street so you don't have to risk driving after a night of hitting the local bars. The room was clean and the staff very friendly and eager to accommodate any request. My only dislike is that parking is not included with the hotel cost and a fee of $28 a night for valet parking is required. Beware of you check out cost for valet! I was charged twice for the same date. However, the problem was quickly resolved once I pointed it out to one of the hotel staff members upon checkout.

When I booked the room I thought I was booking a "bed and breakfast suite" and when I got to my room it wasn't a suite but a normal room. Actually a smaller room than most places I have stayed. I expected from the hotel room photos I saw on the internet to have a couple of chairs or sofa and a hot tub. When I called the desk they pulled my reservation info and said it couldn't be because a suite was twice the rate I was paying. I could have been mistaken when I booked the room but I don't think so. However, the room was clean, service was good and the breakfast was excellent. Parking at $28 a night seemed a little pricey but I knew that before I got there.

We love to stay here because it's literally on 6th St. The crawling is minimal when your hotel is so close to your party location. Everyone was so nice when we arrived, they upgraded us but we asked for a downgrade. We needed two beds since it was a party of 5. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the lounge breakfast. Most of the food wasn't my cup of tea, so I felt I wasted money there. Besides that, will stay again and again when in town.

We were in for my birthday and the hotel staff made it soo special!! The room was beautiful and very convenient!

The service was excellent. Breakfast was included with room and was fresh, plentiful and top notch. Staff was friendly and helpful. Had all the perks without extra charges for anything. Highly recommend it.

Room was clean. Location was convenient. I found the rate to be the best value for my one-night stay in Austin. The valet was fast and you can text to have your car prepped by the time you get downstairs which I found helpful.

Austin is always weird, just happened to be an Anime convention in town that weekend, so lots of comic dressed people all around. Every time Austin just gets weirder., and that's just great.

Be aware of $26 plus tax plus valet tip to park each night!

Courteous, attentive staff. Easy check-in and check-out. Great breakfast buffet. Only negative was loud talk outside room at 3 a.m and slamming doors between 3 and 4 a.m.

The Good: Great location. Right on 6th street so in walking distance of all bars/clubs. The Bad: Also right next to HWY so you can hear cars zooming by all night if you are light sleeper. PARKING GARAGE COSTS $26. Nice little heads up if you plan on staying here. Found empty water bottles on the floor in our hotel room, so cleanliness is not a priority here. Will stay somewhere else next time around.

Very sorry that we stayed here. A private party on the floor above us kept us awake all night followed by very drunk people running the hallways. I booked three hotel rooms for family attending my son's graduation and none of us got any sleep. The valet service was very slow, taking about 30 minutes to get the car even after calling ahead. I have stayed in Austin hotels dozens of times of the past few years and this is the worse.

The service at the hotel was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was a bit smaller than we would have preferred, but the layout was very functional and had everything we needed except for a safe to keep our valuables. The breakfast buffet was rather limited and could use some improvement. All in all, this is an excellent place to stay for those who like a small, intimate boutique hotel rather than at a larger hotel with a grand setting.

The service and the people were GREAT. But the room itself was disappointing. The deadbolt was broken (no innards), the bedskirts were worn, rumpled and sloppy-looking, the floor was not well-vacuumed, the bathroom wallpaper was peeling in places. A nice-sized desk was not usable because the only chair in the room was a very low side chair. Other than the great cooling/heating system, I would compare the room quality with a much, much lower-priced hotel.

Great location! Very convenient to 6th street and Town Lake running/walking trail. A little far from UT campus/Memorial stadium but definitely walkable. The hotel was well maintained and the staff was very friendly. We will definitely stay there again.

The hotel was beautiful, and we got upgraded to a jacuzzi suite. The staff was very friendly and professional, especially Christy at the front desk.
