Loews Coronado Bay Resort & Spa - קורונדו

ארוחת הערב והקינוח במלון שלכם היו כל כך טובים - למצרית הייתה דרך ממש עליזה, בסגנון "קליפוניה" לשרת אותנו.

הצוות היה נעים ביותר, והחדר היה נחמד מאוד עם נוף מצוין של המפרץ, אבל המיזגן עשה כזה רעש, שנאלצתי לכבות אותו כדי שאוכל להירדם. חוץ מזה, הכל היה מצוין.

שהינו כאן 5 ימים ונהנינו מכל רגע! בריכות יפהפיות עם ג'קוזי, ובחדר שלנו היה נוף נהדר של המפרץ. צוות שירותי החנייה עזר לנו מאוד, והם לקחו אותנו אל החוף ברכב הגולף עם כל הצעצועים שלנו וכו'. אני ממליץ על המקום הזה בחום! כמה דברים שצריך לדעת: זה נמצא בערך 4 מייל ממרכז העיר Coronado אבל יש שירות מעבורת. אני מרוצה מהשהייה שלי במקום.

אחרי שגילינו מיד שיש משפחה רועשת בחדר שנמצא בדיוק מעלינו, שדרגו אותנו ועברנו תוך שעה לחדר בקומה העליונה עם נוף מהמם של המפרץ. למרות שהוא מעט מבודד ממרכז העיר Coronado, יש באתר 3 בריכות שחייה נהדרות, אפשרויות הסעדה מצוינות, וצוות ידידותי מאוד ומקצועי. 25$ דמי חנייה הם מעט מטופשים, מכיוון שהדרך היחידה להגיע למלון היא באמצעות רכב, וישנם מקומות חנייה נטושים - למה לא פשוט להכליל את זה במחיר החדר?

אם היית פה בכדי להישאר ולשחק במתחם הנופש עם תקציב טוב, כנראה שהיה זה מקום נחמד מאוד. אני הייתי בקונורדו למטרות עסקים ומתחם הנופש היה המקום המומלץ לשהות בו. לא היה זה נוח במיוחד ללא רכב, ומחיר החניה המגוחך של 25$ ללילה או 30$ אם רצית משרת אישי - באמת, משרת אישי באמצע שום מקום? החדרים והמלון היו נחמדים, אך זה לקח כ-20 דקות להגיע לבסיס חיל הים באי קונורדו ובחזרה, ו-35$ בכדי להגיע ל-Gaslamp district בעיר התחתית של סאן דייגו. אם היה זה המקום היחידי להישאר בו, מילא, אבל יש כל כך הרבה מלונות נהדרים בסאן דייגו, אפילו בקונורדו, בערך באותו מחיר ובמיקומים טובים בהרבה - לא אבחר במלון הזה שוב.

בסך הכל החדר היה נחמד ונקי מאוד. כשהגענו למקום הצוות היה נחמד מאוד. הדבר היחיד שלא אהבנו בחדר שלנו היה גודל המיטות. כתוב שזה queen size, אבל זה באמת רק full size.

בעלי ואני לקחנו את אמא שלו ל-Loewe's Coronado לכמה ימים עם הכלב הקטן שלה. זו הייתה שהות נהדרת עם אנשים נהדרים שטיפלו בנו. אני ממליצה על המלון לכל אחד. כבר לא יכולה לחכות לחזור לכאן.

מלון נהדר! החוף מעבר לרחוב, בריכות מחוממות, השכרת אופניים במקום, נופים נהדרים מהחדרים הימניים! ללא ספק אחזור לפה שנית!

The good: We used to visit this hotel often 10yrs ago or so. Since then, they have remodeled. The appearance of the hotel is nice. The outdoor bar area is nice, and we really enjoyed our family time outside at night - they have decent food options and they did a great job of serving us while we played family games, etc The restaurant has a pretty good breakfast - the Belgian waffles are so good!! The pools are decent - nothing spectacular. They have a nice little golf cart shuttle that will take you under the roadway to the beach across the road. The beach itself is great! Very enjoyable for the family. They rent everything from boats to bikes by the hour. Which helps keep you out of the car - and on "vacation". The not so good: We had a bay view room, the beds were not very comfortable. It seems like they kept the old beds. 10yrs ago, the beds were comfy - now they seem overused and lumpy I was so miserable during the night. When I contacted the front desk - they were quick to help me find another room - BUT they wanted to upcharge me an additional $250 a night...Uh, no thank you!. The square footage of the room is misleading in a sense because there is a completely useless "hallway" from your door to the room that is included in the measurements. The balcony was very dirty - bird droppings everywhere.

To be a five star it would need a bit more luxury I almost every way. The check in staff and other staff I encountered were very nice and helpful. Things are nice but a bit worn/dated but not horribly so. The Internet wireless signal is very poor and slow. I pointed this out upon checkout.

Both interactions with the two concierges who assisted us were fantastic. They were both very helpful and provided great recommendations and service. I believe Elizabeth was one that helped but I can't remember the other gentleman's name. But we were very impressed with both! Thank you all for the great experience!

Loved the informal elegance. Family friendly, loved the pools, and drinks on the beautiful patio.

It was 2 couples and we all enjoyed ourselves!

Upon arrival, the workers were really friendly and helped guide us to find what we needed. The location is as well very nice; bay view room was a plus and suggest it.

Beautiful hotel! Great service.

If you want to be in the center of it all, this may not be your best bet, but it is a wonderful family oriented resort. Refurbished. Attentive staff.

It was ok

Room was quiet clean and had a more than the regular amenities. Staff was spot on. The location of the hotel permitted us to visit Imperial Beach for a burger and brew and the Coronado shops which were both within 10 minutes of driving.

The service of the hotel staffs is good. We stay at the ocean view room but it is just the view of the inland ocean port with no real good view of ocean. Their selling point might be their facilities such as three swimming pools and kids playroom which are very small and average and for sure no 4 stars rating. With the same price we paid, we can stay at much better hotels since we have stayed many hotels around the area to compare with.

Loews Coronado Bay Resort was absolutely awesome! I stopped several managers while there to compliment them on their outstanding staff and the overall beauty of the resort! Absolutely every single staff member was super friendly and helpful. We will definitely choose this place when we return! They had a shuttle that take you for free into town of Coronado. Everything you need is right there at the resort. We recommend only renting a car when your day trips take you like to SeaWorld or sightseeing the different beaches. Pacific Beach, Mission Beach and La Jolla are beautiful! The beach right out front of Loews Resort is pretty, too. Only a 10 minute walk or they shuttle you in golf carts for free if you want a ride. Again, this place was totally awesome and highly recommended!

My family enjoyed our stay very much. We have three children and they were never bored. My daughter especially loved the bathtub in the hotel! My husband loved the private beach access. I enjoyed the outdoor patio area with the contrast of the fire pits and ocean views. I only have two regrets as follows: booking through a third party and forfeiting a daily food allowance for the hotel food and also staying on the first floor, as we had a child staying above us awake and run back and forth every morning before 7 am. Also, by booking through a third party, we were not made aware to the daily incidentals fee. Any unused money was returned, but had I known this information, I could have planned better. We hope to stay here again!

Best part was hotel was it's pet friendly so we could bring our dogs. Friendly service and nice spacious rooms with peekaboo view of Bay. Nice quiet location with lots of amenities. We were hungry so we ate in the hotel and had a terrible but pricey meal at The Market. Raw cold steak was served and had to be sent back. Fish tacos were dry and flavorless (fish was crumbled and looked like ground turkey). If we could do it again we would drive to Coronado and eat at one of the fine dining establishments and have a delicious meal and probably save money. Disadvantage of the hotel location is its separation from places to shop and eat in Coronado.

We had a hotels.com credit so we decided to take a staycation here since we love spending time in Coronado and had already stayed at the Hotel del Coronado before. The Loews Coronado is a pretty nice hotel on the outside and the lobby is very fancy, but the rest of the hotel is starting to look a little tired and in need of refreshing. Our room was pretty standard, nothing special, but the bathroom was very nice with a big tub and glass shower which both appear to be much newer than the room. I gave the hotel a rating of 3 because of two things: 1) It was very noisy (we woke up 3 times due to people running and screaming in the halls and the kids - we assume - in the room above us decided to run, jump, and pound on the walls starting at 7AM for more than 2 hours. Calls to the front desk were unanswered, so no one informed these people that they were disturbing other guests. 2) This leads me to the other issue which was the service. They only had one person working the front desk when we checked in and had to wait more than 15 minutes to get check in, then the same story when we checked out. Unfortunately the self checkout on the TV was broken, otherwise we would have just used that. When checking out, I mentioned to the woman about the noise overnight and her only response was a mumbled "sorry about that" when looking down at her keyboard. There seemed to be a real issue with the quality of their staff.

It was very restful and relaxing

Great hotel with full resort amenities. about 4 miles from the main area of Coronado, though was worth the drive. place is spectacular.

Wow! Way beyond expectations. New, beautiful, superior service, safe feeling, lots of amenities, great on resort dining. Lived the privacy of the location. With simple parking, actually faster to get to down town Coronado than from some places in town! With so many beautiful places to stay in San Diego and Coronado we will come back here!

Cost too much it not worth it!

My son and flew in to San Diego from east coast and drove up the coast to Sant Barbara, Monterey, and San Francisco. Loews Coronado Bay is a beautiful resort, in avery nice and convenient location. The room was clean and the service was outstanding. I would stay there again and woul recommend this hotel to friends.

Great resort with no complaints of the actual hotel, services, room, or staff. But I didn't realize how far it would be from all the action on Coronado bay until we got there. The hotel is a few miles from the main island strip, which is okay if you have a rental car, it would have been nice to stay close to that area and walk to the attractions though, they provide shuttles out to the main island area though. Great hotel, with great amenities!

Ladies...bring your showercaps...this is one weird shower that looks fantastic when you first see it...but it's small and designed for a 6'5" guy...so you hair is soaked if you're a normal size woman...they should istall hand held showers...place is lovely...Market to Go is great place to eat...nice that they take dogs and even cater to them..that's a nice plus if you travel with your dog friend...the dog in room menu is great idea but expensive and just a nice idea...our dog appreciated it...again, a hidden parking charge...seems to be the norm in San Diego. Room deal was $109 but $25 a night for parking....beautiful location...the young man in Market to Go was fantastic and the gal in the beach shop was also Miss Personality...worth driving there if the price is right with special deal...

We reserved the standard room for $189. Upon arrival, I asked if we could get a room with a view of the water. The young lady said no problem and upgraded us to the deluxe room for free. When we opened our room door and saw the beautiful view of the water, we were sooo pleased! The room was very spacious and very nice. The bartender, Bobby, was friendly and provided excellent service. We also had room service for breakfast and it was served very quickly (my husband's breakfast enchilada was delicious, but my omelette was a little dry and overcooked and didn't have but one mushroom in it). My only complaint is that I love to take baths in the tub, and the tub was dirty. And you have to pay $25 for overnight parking! And its more for valet. I think overall we would come back again.
