הגענו למלון לגלות ששדרגו אותנו. היה לנו נוף מדהים וטופלנו היטב על ידי הצוות! תודה רבה! :)

מלון Balmoral כנראה אחת המלונות הכי טובות ששהינו בו אי פעם. הבנין עצמו מאד מיוחד והצוות תמיד נדיב ומוכן לעזור בלי להיות שתלטני. החדרים מאד נוחים ומאד נקיים. מיקום המלון יוצא מן הכלל במרחק הליכה מכל האתרים העיקריים של Edinburgh. אנחנו מאד ממליצים על המלון!

שירות לקוחות יוצא מן הכל והצוות הקדיש תשומת לב לכל פרט. צוות ידידותי מאד.

המלון היה נוח וממקום היטב. הן המלון, הן החדר והן הצוות היו ברמה גבוהה מאוד. המלון והמסעדות בו היו יקרים. אכלנו ארוחת בוקר בסגנון בופה (buffet) שהיתה טובה מאוד. באופן כללי, יש מסעדות טובות באיזור שמחיריהן פחות יקרים. הדבר היחידי שהיה חסר בחדר הוא קצת יותר רהיטים. לא היה מספיק מקום בארון ובמגירות כדי לאחסן את החפצים שלנו.

היו לנו משקאות בשני הברים. השירות לא הצטיין באף אחד מהם.

צוות מדהים ומאוד מועיל. כל כך טוב שלא תרצה לעזוב את המלון!

מיקום מצוין סמוך לאתרים ההיסטוריים בתוך העיר הישנה, איזור החנויות, מסעדות ותחנת הרכבת Waverly. השירות היה מצויין. הייתה לנו חוויה יוצאת מן הכלל.

אשתי ואני נהנינו מהשהייה שלנו במלון Balmoral. היה לנו חדר מאד יפה עם נוף של העיר ורחוב Princes. נקי מאד, צוות מאד מועיל, והמיקום הכי טוב בעיר. שירותי חדר כושר ו-Spa עם בר לקפה או תה בחינם היה מאוד נגיש ושימושי. כל מי שמתכונן לנסוע ל-Edinburgh צריך לתכנן מראש לשהות ב-Balmoral.

התלונה היחידה היא שלמרות שהייתי בקומה השישי הרעש של התנועה ברחוב היה גרוע.

The management and staff could not have been more accommodating. They booked restaurant reservations. The bellman transported our bags to the train station and helped load them on the train. The management were very helpful with a problem we had. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice but not 5 star. No shower caps, cotton wool or even tea/ coffee tray supplied in the bedroom. Available when requested but not there as standard. Also buffet style hot breakfast should never be served in a 5 star hotel. The cold buffet was excellent. Most of the food was luke warm and the scrambled eggs were cold. On a positive note, all the staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly. Location is excellent and hotel clean. Spa good too and easily accessed directly from bedrooms without walking in robes through the public areas of the hotel.

My stay was fabulous. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, right from the girl checking us in to the concierge to the room service. I was magnificent. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

A stunning hotel but considering the price and having booked a superior king room u thought it was a bit small. Parking a pain unless you pay for the doorman to park the car for you. Otherwise I would highly recommend it. A real luxury experience

Central location, great service, quiet, well appointed rooms, gracious staff, wonderful restaurants, beautiful pool and spa with direct access to the train station. Nothing more anyone could ask for!

We were here on our honeymoon - The staff were wonderful at the Balmoral, and made our stay extremely memorable. The proximity to the winter festival/market and architectural attractions contribute in making it the most desired location for stay in Edinburgh. When I return, I will undoubtedly be staying here.

Staff could not be better trained. Friendly, helpful, knowledgable...etc. Overall the hoel is quite lovely. Rooms are simple but have everything one would need. Beds clean...bathrooms clean...carpets, not so clean.

Really relaxing and lovely service. I am a keen swimmer and the hotel pool and spa was the best I have come across. The dedicated lift from the room to the pool was fantastic!

Great hotel in good location. Impossible to call direct even for directions, always a call centre. Room didn't had the best view but ok.

A very comfortable hotel in a great location. Service is brilliant but why do they charge so much for the wifi. This should be free for a hotel of this quality and will deter me from staying there again.

Loved The Balmoral-absolute luxury with attentive but not overpowering staff. We had an executive room overlooking the castle. It was immaculate and beautifully furnished. The bed was very comfortable too but we did hear street noise at about 2am from late night revellers so if that may concern you ask for a room that does not face on to the street. Bathroom was beautiful with generous sized bath and very powerful shower. No coffee making facilities in room but just ring housekeeping and they bring a complimentary tray of tea/coffee to your room. We visit Edinburgh frequently and this hotel is by far our favourite!

Lovely old fashioned service, Lovely room. Best hair conditioner in a hotel ever! Valet parking service good value for Edinburgh and wonderfully helpful staff. .Lovely breakfast. A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE to help celebrate my son's graduation.

A beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. Well worth every penny.

The hotel was well run and beautifully maintained. Other than the fact that Scotland seems to want to secede from the UK there was nothing odd or wrong with this hotel and my stay was pleasant and enjoyable. I mean how can you complain about a country that wraps eggs in sausage?

The Balmoral is next to the train station and within short walking distance to everything within the city that we wanted to do and see. The building itself is just beautiful and elegant and made us feel like royalty. The room and views were amazing - this hotel was perfect in every way for a romantic getaway in Scotland.

The Balmoral is a beautiful historic hotel in a great location right in the centre of Edinburgh and only a couple of minutes' walk from Waverley Station. The service is fantastic. The staff can't do enough for you. The only downside for us was that we didn't have a great room. The room was not very large so a bit cramped and the view was looking onto the brick walls of the hotel itself, rather than the great view of Edinburgh most of the other rooms would have afforded. The bed was very comfortable. some of the decor of the hotel is starting to look a bit worn, but that's probably part of the charm.

Our room was on the first floor, so not only it was noisy from traffic, this totally lacked privacy, people riding double decker buses were literally in the room. Room rate with Hotels.Com did not include breakfast which was 17 pounds per person

The Balmoral is in the grand old hotel tradition. The only slight lack in an otherwise lovely experience is that there are no grand parlors on the first floor; they appear to have been turned into conference rooms. There is a fire in the entryway fireplace, but only two chairs near it. The room was marvelous.

The kindness of our porter at Balmoral will remain forever a significant memory from our British tour; his engaged conversation and concern for our satisfaction gave a sense of humanity we rarely experience in everyday encounters. A lovely old hotel-- unfortunately surrounded by construction at the moment. And.... bathroom heaven. A shower to soothe the jagged traveler.

Very nice hotel, room was very comfortable! Perfect location close to center of city. I loved my stay and would stay here again!

Only downside to this great stay was the construction (which can be easily ignored by staying in an interior room). Excellent service and value.

Check in easy and staff very helpful. We had a couple of issues with our room that were taken care of immediately. Fabulous location!

It must be terribly hard to keep up standards in a hotel. The rooms are fantastic with soaring ceilings and views, but tiny details were off. So, no butter with breakfast two days in a row, no hairdryer in the room and housekeeping a bit disbelieving about this -- just tiny things that are a bit irksome when on a business trip. Otherwise the staff is kind and helpful, and the food is good.
