The pick up and delivery to sights by the hotel bus/ limo at no charge was very convenient

Excellent hotel and great staff. Only criticism is that we felt that the main restaurant was expensive and that the food didn't live up to the price.

Excellent service and features. Will definitely stay here again. A true five star hotel.

We met up with family to celebrate a big birthday and staying at the Jefferson certainly made this a memorable event. The Christmas decorations were still up and they were fabulous. It is a Grand Hotel with exceptional service. A wonderful experience.

Great hotel. Would recommend to friends and business contacts alike.

It was great! Wish we could have had the breakfast package- person selling the room's stay said there were no packages avail for the weekend, however I heard others at breakfast seemed to have a breakfast package. Also wish they'd offered some discount for a VCU person visiting their child, as they do Sun-Thurs. This might make me think about staying at the lower Doubletree nearby- but really want to stay at Jefferson due to atmosphere, service & comfort. consider a weekend discount - not quite as much as during the week, but incentive for this group of customers. thanks,

The friendliness & attentiveness of all staff was outstanding, within a few minutes of arriving all staff appeared to know our names and were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is an impressive Victorian/Edwardian style, well maintained and impressively clean, yet modern. The room was adequate rather than impressive, but nonetheless fine. The quality of the food in the restaurant was also very good, without being too expensive. However, the most memorable feature of the hotel were its staff, they were outstanding.

It's fancy, very well maintained, very clean, and reasonably priced hotel.

Hotel staff is top notch; quality of the service is excellent.

We loved the package. Food and Service were great but the room was a bit dirty and tired. Lot's of dust and spots on the carpeting in the room.

Amazing place, my only complaint is that rooms are not soundproof. On Saturday night, weddings take over the hotel and we could not sleep because of the noise above us and down the hall. Great service, I'd stay there again.

Outstanding personal service and a lobby with stained glass windows and dome to die for. First Class PLUS all the way!

Our family came from far and wide to celebrate Christmas together, gathering at The Jefferson. We had a delightful stay including opening presents by the beautiful Christmas tree! The staff was always available and friendly. We will reflect on our memories of Christmas at The Jefferson with fondness and will remember the special moments for a long, long time. Thank you!

An elegant hotel with exceptional service.

Worth the money if you are looking for a relaxing stay. As I was anticipating, service, quality and hospitalty was tastefully offered by gracious team members. Definitey staying any time in the future over another location. As someone in the hospitailty industry my husband and I were grateful to recieve such balanced and polished service. Lemaire dinner was also the best!

We found this hotel, their staff, restaurants, et cetera, to be stellar. True southern hospitality and the hotel has an interesting history. Be sure to stay here when visiting Richmond and you will not regret your decision.

This hotel is a standout among its peers. Terrific service and a gracious nod to its own fine history, its crystal clear that the management cares about every detail, and makes the effort to see that its guard will not be let down. What a treat to stay here.

Beautiful historic hotel in Richmond. Wish we could have stayed for a longer time!

The public spaces -- the two lobbys -- upper and lower are astounding. I have never seen such ornate space. We spent time just wandering around looking. Our room was very nice. We enjoyed our stay and would go back.

Wonderful experience in every way. The staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Everyone went above and beyond our expectations. The room was top notch. Fabulous bedding. Our first visit to Richmond and if we return, we wouldn't stay anywhere else!

We chose this hotel for the historic and architectural interest and weren't disappointed. The common areas of this hotel are beautiful. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, servicable, nothing particularly fancy, a tad on the small side. We enjoyed the grand entrances, the lovely bar area, the indoor pool and small outside terrace by the pool, and the downstairs coffee bar, which opens fairly early. There are some streets within walking distance that aren't so nice. But the hotel is well situated, close to many interesting historical sites and a selection of good restaurants. The hotel's restaurant is top rated, though we didn't have a chance to try it. The hotel has a shuttle that takes guests to nearby sites/locations. We used the shuttle or our car, that we parked in the fenced, guarded lot outside.

Wonderful experience. Took photos of the interior for a screensaver. Perfect location. Fabulous food. Hated to leave. Concierge service the best we've had.

No visit to the South is complete without a visit to the Jefferson Hotel in Richmond and its superb restaurant Lemaire. One feels one is in history in this tribute to Thomas Jefferson and the grace and charm of the old South is in the walls of this beautiful structure.

You can never go wrong here. Ask for a Deluxe room (huge) and one on the 1st floor. That's where the pool is. It's indoor and beautiful. You'll never want to leave this property once you check in.

Lovely hotel in wonderful Richmond location. The standard room was small but very clean. However, the lighting fixtures must have all had 25W-40W bulbs- eerily dark. The bathroom lighting was too dim to even try to apply makeup. The heat was blasting non-stop and I could not control it. I guess you need to upgrade to one of their $400 -$500 rooms to have adequate lighting & temp control!

We will never stay anyplace other than the Jefferson when returning to Richmond! The hotel is elegant, old-world Southern with the most attentive and delightful, informed and helpful staff! These people want you to be content and go to great lengths to assure that end. We were addressed by name during our entire stay, found the front desk and concierge personnel to be exceptional and the restaurant and bar personnel to be informed and informative. You sense these people really like their jobs! And the amenities were luxurious - from the lobby and room appointments to the robes and towels. A great stay!

This was an imposing hotel but also felt relaxed and friendly .The courtesy bus to and from local restaurants was very convenient .

I love the Jefferson Hotel! The customer service is 5 star! They never fail to meet all of my expectations. Business travel can be such a weary experience so I always try to stay at a place that makes me feel special, is extremely comfortable and gives me the space to rejuvinate.

The classic appeal/design of the property and the attentive, helpful staff really stood out to us during our stay. We can't comment on the hotel's restaurant offerings, but it's only two to three blocks from quality eateries on Broad St. We'd definitely be interested in staying there again.

GREAT STAFF, over all its was agrat deal. we stayed as a part of theirhoilday PKg, and it came with lots of free stuff and hotel credits. Very nice hotel,the rooms are slightly small but overall a great hotel.

We stayed here for our honeymoon night, and everything was wonderful!

If you find yourself in Richmond and In need Of more than just a place to lay your head. I would recommend the historic Jefferson Hotel. .A well maintained jem it provides a pleasant reminder of a more civilized past.

This hotel is in a very nice historic section of Richmond. Beautiful building, well kept grounds, friendly and helpful staff, clean comfortable room, nice restaurants on site and also nearby-what more could you ask for?
