Embassy Suites Portland - Washington Square - טיגארד

It was very nice to find a hotel that excepted the few of us that still smoke. However the rooms did not have windows that opened or any extra ventilation. I suggest you take scented candles. Hockey playoffs on and it was not available in the room.

Overall our stay was quite pleasant. The location next to Washington Square Mall was fantastic. The only negative was the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable and well worn for those who had to sleep on it. It's time for new matresses!

This hotel is just beautiful! The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable and supportive. The inside of the hotel, with the plants and fountain and the walkways on each floor open to the lobby below, reminded us of a resort vacation spot. The breakfast; WOW!!! They have the best hotel breakfast we have ever had! Omelets made to order, fresh fruit, cold cereal, oatmeal, doughnuts, muffins, juice, milk, coffee, and a hot buffet with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, fried potatoes. I know, that was ridiculous to list it all, but I just couldn't believe it!

We stayed at this location due to prices and availability on a holiday weekend. Though we preferred downtown, the hotel shuttle gave us easy access to the light rail, and the staff was always accommodating with the times we requested. The room was clean and comfortable. The only negative for the room was the lack of venting in the bathroom. It caused the whole room to be humid and muggy smelling. The only negative for the hotel (for us) was the noise which is partly just due to the layout. There were kids in the pool during all open hours, and the noise carried up the center atrium. There were no issues late at night, and I wouldn't say the noise was overwhelming since the bedroom was buffered by the front room. It's just something to be aware of if you don't have kids. Overall, the hotel was great; the staff was especially great, and we would recommend it to others.

My boyfriend and I wanted to get out of town for the long weekend and decided to stay at Embassy Suites again. We both love this hotel not for the location but the quality of customer service we receive everytime we visit the Portland area.

What a nice surprise to find that our free breakfast was a full buffet with cooked to order omelets! There was also a fun and happening happy hour each night. The location was great for shopping and only about 15 minutes outside of Portland. Staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. The room was perfect for our family of 4!!

Clean, comfortable, great neighborhood, reasonable value (5 minutes walking distance from Washington Square Mall, Target, etc.).

Service was excellent, location had convenient access to freeway but was not as close to the downtown area as we expected, room was spotless. The only drawback was that we used the pullout bed and when we returned to the room the pullout was made but was not folded back up to the couch for us to relax in the "livingroom" area. Also, had to really hunt for the toilet paper which is oddly hung under the vanity, almost hidden, and unless you're tall it's definitely not within arms reach.

Size of room was very nice, Breakfast buffet was very good as well, I was a little disappointed with the size of the pool for a hotel that large, was always crowded. Also the TVs in the room were very old, expected much better from a hotel this nice. Overall had a very good stay would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and will be back to stay in the future.

Awesome hotel It was a great experience with my family. The rooms were beautiful and clean love the extra room and tv. Also the microwave and fridge. The breakfast and the afternoon snack made our trip. The costumer service of all the employees was just GREAT.Love the price.

This hotel has a much nicer Manager's Reception than the airport Embassy Suites. Also, this nightly stay is much cheaper. We were impressed. What a value for all you receive with this hotel.

The sleeper sofa was broken. An offer was made to change our room, which we decided against. Any request for help was responded to and the people were very nice. The breakfast was very good.

A nice hotel easily accessible from major freeways, right next to a large mall. There were a great deal of children (less than 10yrs) when I was there, which is good as I have children as well. Very kid friendly, nice big suites that were clean. The pool is small and can get very crowded. The free breakfast is fantastic! Would stay here again. You are a ways from downtown Portland and traffic can be a headache getting to and from there from the hotel.

We had a great stay and will be back.

Everything was great except for the breakfast buffet. The food was horrible and the staff working the buffet were standing around griping about customers while we stood waiting for a table. There were many empty tables but none clean and I stood there holding my sons and my tray so long I actually dropped my beverage cause I couldnt hold it any longer. And we had to eat with our feet in the breakfast the people before us left on the floor under our table. Nobody even offered to clean it for us and the woman who finally cleaned the table so we could sit down made us wait while she complained to a server about the messy guests.

We always choose this Hotel when in this area. It is close to the Mall and many restaurants of our liking. The rooms are spacious, clean and perfect for a family of 5. The breakfast is always good and being that it is free makes this hotel a wonderful deal. The pool is great for the kids and the fact it is open in the morning suits our needs.

excellent stay ,only issue we had was our room reeked of cigarette smell ,but was quickly resolved as they placed us in another room .

Love the spaciousness of the rooms. Location is soso unless you are there to shop at Washington square. Lots of kids there, so that might be a problem for some travelers. Food was adequate.

This place was even better than expected, top notch service, great happy hour, amazing breakfast, and it was quiet. Would recommend and would stay again.

We stayed at Embassy Suites everytime we visit Portland. Awesome location next to Washington Square, 15-20 mins drive to Woodburn Outlet and to Downtown Portland. Clean and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

This hotel is very dated. The interior of the room is dark and sofa bed should not even be considered a bed at all. The breakfast was okay, no long line for the egg station which was good. Pool is tiny and way too many kids because of spring break. The reason we picked this hotel was the location but be warned that in order to go over to the mall next door you really have to make a big round about in order to get there. If you are not careful you may miss the turn and end up on the highway. Lot of shops around but just watch out for the traffic!!

My husband and I travel for a weekend stay once a month. This is by far the best hotel we've stayed at in years. The staff was friendly and informative,the hotel was clean and well maintained, and the room was beyond our expectations. This has become our new getaway spot!

Close to Washington Square. Lots of places to go and eat close by. Cheesecake Factory, Red Robin, Gustavs. Will definitely stay again.

Usually we are completely delighted with our rooms in Embassy Suites, but this one was dirty. When we checked in, the toilet hadn't been flushed and was full of urine. There were obvious crumbs on the shelf above the coffee service, and they stayed there for both days we were there (that is, through two more maid services). The carpet was too dirty to walk on without slippers, and there were suspicious dried spots of something on the wall and on the switchplates for the lights. We usually love the complimentary breakfast buffet at Embassy Suites, too, but this one was far below average. Not a place we'd recommend!

Everything was wonderful! Enjoyed the manager's happy hour, Breakfast was AMAZING and the room size was excellent. only down fall was the room was stuffy, we had the air on but it never seemed to cool off, which was strange since it was so cold outside. Had a little issue with the toilet, but maintenance was up to our room within mins and the issue was solved.

Room was nice. Managers reception was excellent, as was breakfast. Lots of kids in the pool, but that's to be expected. Overall, very impressed, would stay again.

Fantastic value for money, loved the glass lifts & the way the place is set out. Professional reception staff & good breakfast considering it was complimentary, very close to everything a shopper needs :)
