Delta Chelsea Hotel - טורונטו

המיקום של Delta Chelsea הוא נפלא- בטווח הליכה להרבה מהאטרקציות של טורנטו. זה המקום לשהות בו אם יש לכם ילדים, איזור הבריכה מאוד נחמד ונקי. מגלשת הבריכה בגובה 4 קומות פתוחה רק בסופי שבוע למרות שזה מוזכר באותיות קטנות באתר המלון אבל שווה להזכיר זאת גם פה.

המחיר היה בסדר יחסית למיקום, אבל החדרים היו מאוד ישנים, לא הייתה זרימת אוויר, היה מאוד מחניק, ומי שסידר את המיטה לפני שהגענו השתמש בסדין רגיל במקום בסדין שמתאים למיטה, ופשוט תחב את קצות הסדין מתחת למזרן, כך שלא רק שלא היה לנו סדין להתכסות בו, אלא שהסדין הרגיל לא התאים לכל המיטה, כך שהרגליים שלנו היו על המזרן עצמו כל הלילה, שזו לא ההרגשה הכי טובה בעולם. זה הרגיש כמו שהות של 2 כוכבים.

זאת הייתה שהייה לא הכי נחמדה, בסביבות 10 בלילה אזעקת האש התחילה לפעול ולא הפסיקה למשך 30 דקות. שכחתי את המטען של המחשב הנייד שלי במלון, התקשרתי למלון והם אמרו שיחזרו אליי לא שמעתי מהם מילה, אני לא אשהה במלון הזה או אמליץ עליו לאף אחד.

החל מחניית הרכב, לרישום ואז לקבלת החדר - המלון הזה עושה את זה נכון, צוות אדיב, חדרים נקיים ונוחים, מרכזי לכל הדברים בטורונטו! פשוט חוויה כוללת נפלאה.

הדבר השלילי היחיד היה שהחנייה יקרה כמעט כמו החדר עצמו!!!

הייתה לנו חוויה נפלאה החל מפקידת הקבלה--הבחורה הייתה מאוד חברותית וחייכה כל הזמן--בערב היינו בבר וצוות הבר היה נפלא ומאוד וידידותי. החדר היה מאוד מרווח ונקי. נהנינו מהשהות שלנו שם.

החדר היה נקי, נוף נפלא מהקומה השביעית, הצוות היה ידידותי, בר נחמד במלון משהו אחד זה שהחניה הייתה ממש יקרה, אבל שוב זה באמצע מרכז העיר טורונטו

התאכסנתי ב-Delta Chelsea Toronto כבר מספר פעמים. אני אוהב את המיקום, אוהב את זה שיש בריכה למבוגרים בלבד (הבריכה למשפחה / אזור הפעילות מעולים גם הם). הצוות תמיד ידידותי ויעיל. המלון נקי ומתוחזק כהלכה. מטרת השהות שלי הפעם הייתה להירגע. ניהלתי את השיחה הזו עם האישה שרשמה אותי למלון. היא שמה אותי בחדר קרוב למעלית ולמכונת הקרח/ממתקים. הייתי ער כל הלילה. בשעה 23 (אחרי שכבר נרדמתי תוך כדי צפייה בסרט) התחילה אזעקת שריפה שנמשכה כ-20 דקות. אז בין 23:20 ל-1:30 אנשים נכנסו ויצאו, ונשמעו די רועשים כאילו שהם חוגגים בחדרים שלהם, או שהם יוצאים לחוות את חיי הלילה של טורונטו. בין 2 ל-4 אני מניח שאותן קבוצות של אנשים חזרו למלון, ונשמע כאילו הם ממש נהנו. שמעתי זוג מתווכח, ושמעתי זוג אחר מקיים יחסים. בערך בשעה 6 הילדים בקומה התעוררו ורצו במסדרונות. מיותר לציין שלא ישנתי הרבה, והלילה שלי ב-Delta לא היה מרגיע. ציינתי את הדבר בזמן הצ'ק אאוט והם סיפקו לי אשראי לאכול במסעדה ארוחת צהריים. זו הייתה מחווה נחמדה. אני אשוב ל-Delta, אבל אם אני אחפש ערב שקט ומרגיע - אני בהחלט אהיה יותר מפורש לגבי המיקום של החדר בגלל היעדר הבידוד בחדרים. חדר שממוקם בסוף המסדרון יכול היה להקטין את כמות הרעש ששמעתי לאורך הלילה למינימום.

מהצ'ק-אין לצ'ק-אאוט כל הצוות היה ידידותי ביותר. מאוד קרוב לכל האטרקציות במרכז העיר. אזעקת האש ביום ראשון בשש וחצי בבוקר לא היה ממש כיף...אך לא אשמת המלון. בסך הכול כל המשפחה נהנתה כולל מגלשת המים.

מאוד נוח לתור שלי לבדיקה הרפואית במרכז העיר טורונטו. קניות וסאבווי מאוד קרובים במרחק הליכה. החדר היה נקי ומאוד שקט. צוות מאוד ידידותי ועוזר.

We loved the location! Hotel is confortable, we had a nice view, igreat restaurants at the hotel an around . I only did not like the fact that there was no wifi in the rooms. Only at the lobby

Very loud guest in the room next to ours. Very dated. I will probably not stay there again.

Original room - mould by the heater, bedside lamp broken, all the lamps mismatched, heat didnt work - and the windows were extremely dirty. Hotel Staff - Ashley was extremely helpful and transferred us to another room which was great. Acoustics in the hotel are bad. Elevators werent all in service due to the strike. Good location.

I founf my stay at the Delta Chelsea very nice, the staff was very polite and helpful. The only problem I ran into was I drive a full size truck and it would not fit in the free underground parking. So I had to have the valet park it, in the other underground parking lot and pay almost $50.

I recently stayed at the Delta Chelsea for approximately a week for work and relaxation. I found the accomidations very nice, my room was always cleaned and the bed was very comfortable. I found the fitness area to be better than I expected, with cardio, machines, some free weights, and of course the pool and hot tub. While the pool isn't optimal for a swimmer it was still relaxing and could get a few short laps in when it was empty. The surrounding area is near Ryerson University, and as such there is plenty of things to do. Also the location near Yonge makes it great if you want to do a bit of shopping.

Our son had surgery at the Toronto Western hospital and taxi service was right at the door. There was a problem with the elevators one day as elevator people were on strike, but the staff did everything they could to keep things running smoothly. It was a very good place to stay

Service was poor. Compared to my stay at Minto suites in Ottawa Dta wasverypoor. I needed to use the airport bus (told comes every half hour) Well the bus never came answer were asked to take taxis. Will not stay at this hotel ever again.

Expensive, but what hotel in the centre of a city isn't. Good quality overall.Wouldn't want to pay to stay more than a few days though.

DC is a good hotel with very good dining options that is perfectly located next to, but not on, Yonge Street, a major shopping and entertainment destination in Toronto. The staff members are extremely nice and helpful. A pleasure to stay there.

This hotel has definitely seen better days .The room I stayed in had wallpaper which was visibly peeling at some points and there was a disconcerting hole behind the TV aerial socket. However, when I did have a problem with the toilet leaking it was swiftly fixed (within 10 minutes). This being said, I chose the hotel for its location and it was definitely worth it in that regard. There are some outstanding restaurants within walking distance, and there are a huge number of public transport links nearby. A great base of operations for any solo tourist.

The hotel was great....great location, clean and the rooms were a decent size. Been there three times before and have enjoyed our stay every time. Will be back again =)

The room is clean and comfortable. Very close to subway station. We especially enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the hotel's cafeteria during the breakfast time. Would definitely stay in this hotel again. The only complaint is that we made several phone calls to room service staff to ask for a pair of slippers, and it was not until an hour later that we finally got it.

The Chelsea is starting to show its age. Carpeting & wallpaper is a bit dated. Having said that it was disappointing on our stay that the restaurant was closed for renovation which we were not given a heads up about but I guess it all goes to upgrading. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful extending our parking pass when an appointment at the nearby hospital went longer than expected.

Great location. The hotel itself has seen better days though.

The hotel was really nice, the front desk woman was so cheerful and happy (although there were a few others who I spoke too that didnt seem very happy at all). The room was nice, bathroom could probably do with some serious upgrades, but was still nice and clean. The only problem I ran into was there was no mini fridge in the room but luckly they were able to bring one up for me right after I called!

This hotel is big and busy... Nothing worth bragging about in terms of the infrastructure or service. It is as expected for hotel of this star rating. What stands out for me is the location. How convenient it is to get around the core of Toronto.

The stay was great, the hotel was just a little dated in the rooms. Would definitely stay again for the price it was great.

Good: The lobby and common areas were clean and presentable. The staff was polite, friendly, and professional. My room was clean and neat, and reasonably sized for the price. I was in a corner room, and although the hotel was bustling, I didn't hear much in the way of noise from the hallways. The bed was really comfortable, and unlike many hotels, I fell asleep immediately and woke up feeling good - and not like I'd be in a medieval torture device. Internet was free and acceptably (but not exceptionally) fast, with both wired and wireless options. The meh: The room was drab. Tan walls with tan carpet, tan drapes, a tan chair, lights with tan shades and coffee brown furniture. It was definitely an 80's feel. Minor cracks and blemishes on the ceiling and joint areas, and the shower/tub. I'm pretty sure I had that exact same shower head in my apartment in 1990. The same "worn down" condition existed around the hotel. Example: One down button on floor 22 would never call an elevator (thankfully the other one worked). The S2 parking garage door stuck so badly that I thought it was locked the first time I tried to use it. The bad: Road noise from outside, particularly construction sounds, were really loud in the room. Somewhat surprising given that I was 22 stories up. Not much they can do about this, it's the city, but beware if you like to sleep late.

I found the rooms to be in good shape. No exhaust fan in the bathroom and no air conditioning. When I called the front desk, I was told they only heat; no cooling. It is early fall, not a huge deal. The balcony door was bolted shut and no windows for fresh air. I found the beds hard as a rock. The service however was a different story. From the beginning to the end, the service and friendliness of the staff was exceptional. A little disappointed with the pools. The kids pool on the second floor (which is seperate from the adult only pool located on the 23 floor), was only open at 8am and the slide didn't open until 4pm. Overall, i would rate my stay as a 8/10.

Hotel is close to great shopping, restaurants and theatre - Room was clean and staff was very helpful and friendly.

fully satisfied with everything except the exit signs in the underground parking lot - a little confusing!

I just wish they would get the couch suites back. Two double beds and a couch was so perfect. Not these bunkbeds

stay was good however the noise from the street was excessive. I was also awaken several times due to inconsiderate people shouting, carrying on in the halls and neighbouring rooms and slamming entry door and patio doors (every 10-15 minutes for smoking.

We asked for an extension on parking and were granted so that made it perfect for us.
