Rooms need to be refreshed. Last time in that hotel chain.

for the price... why do the lights hum? why is the bathtub permanently dirty? Why does the tap in the sink leak unless positioned in a certain way? Why are there channels on the TV that have no signal, but have a title? Next time I will pay the group rate, and get a "premium" room that seems cleaner and has better facilities.

The curtainand the tv are too old but it is clean, well located and the restaurant is good.

Good price, good location; nice, clean rooms. Friendly staff. I recommend.

Though we only spent one night and enjoyed the accommodationms very much, we were within 4 blocks of what we wanted to see (blues cruise) and 1 block from all the restaurants. The hotel and staff made our visit a pleasant one we would return to.

Helpful staff, good location, dated room, needed cleaning along baseboards & behind chairs.

The beds should be totally changed, not comfortable….and they should all be changed for queen size like most of hôtels do. We stayed in the "classique" room two double beds….they shold be queens for sure, for this type of hotel.The pool & bar was fantastique. We paid lots of monies for the type of comfort and room we had…We will not go back to this hotel unless we have no choice and only for one night stay...

Very quiet hotel. Helpful and friendly staff. Good location within easy walking distance of restaurants, the attractive riverside park, historic distract.

The service was unacceptable as the terms of the reservation were not respected. Although 2 non-smoking rooms were reserved, we were told that the hotel was full (wedding party) and only smoking rooms were available. Although ozone treatment had been used, it was a smoking floor and the hallway reeked..... surprisingly, the exercise room was on the same floor ! By the second night, the ozone had worn off. Although the wedding group had left and the hotel was now almost empty, we were still not offered a move to non-smoking rooms. The AC in one of the rooms was not working well and the temp. stayed higher in the room than outside. It was also noisy. A repair request resulted in elimination of the noise, but still no cooling. The hotel is also far from fresh - wear and tear on door edges, hall carpeting and trim, as well as dated decor. The TVs are at least 15 years old, with poor picture definition and colors so faded, I initially thought I was looking at B&W. The shower water pressure was way to high, to the point of being stingingly painful, with no flowrate or shower head adjustment possible. Great location, but we'll be reserving elsewhere next time.

It was very clean... but, besides that I wasn't very impressed. The air conditioner didn't really keep the room very cool. There was no fridge in the room. I had to walk around the hotel for the ice machine (twice! because the first was broken). They try to charge you extra for things that are included at most places, such as breakfast. The bed was okay for comfort, but hotels usually have better.

Rooms are outdated, mattress really soft and unconfortable, Air conditioning unit very very loud and not efficient, allway and corridor way too hot and stuffy, by the time I went down, I was wet and really not confortable. TV channels very limited and poor image quality. This is my last time there, I will select other hotels in the area before going back there.

Wish they had capability of making calls from the room. Room was comfortable

This is a great three to four star hotel. Well located, friendly staff, nice clean rooms. The room I stayed in this time needed a little "freshening up", the carpet should be replaced as should the wallpaper. Otherwise, it was fine. Will surely stay there again.

Hotel Gouverneur Trois-Rivieres is a perfect location to see Trois Riviere....convenient to all and easy walk to waterfront. Great Breakfast buffet in am

I did not like the children around the lobby, causing them to hold the elevator, so we could not use them, I was told by the youngster to use the stairs. and management did nothing about it. other then that the hotel was OK. I was to received a receipt by Email, I have not yet received a deceit by email.:??????????

Very helpful and attentive staff. Free parking. Excellent location, walk to harbourfront and restaurants. Clean and comfortable room.Very reasonably priced!

The Gouverneur is virtually in the center of Trois Rivieres and thus close to some very good restaurants and the river park. Because the city is small, you can get everywhere by foot. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable.

I have very few good things to say about the governor.. Nice neigborhood, well kept rooms and breakfast.. But, my original bookings for two rooms for 3 nights that were charged to my credit card, were also sold to someone else. I was essentially kicked out of the hotel, when we called the hotel again, the person on the phone denied the entire thing. The next day we called back and with no other place to go "mysteriously" there were two empty rooms, which we bought for two nights. The next morning the same situation arose. Obviously that was the end of our stay, two rooms for five nights.... Give me a break.

Pour un hôtel 4 étoiles, je suis vraiment déçu. Chambre très vieillotte, nécessite un bon rafraîchissement. De plus, des voisins très bruyants, donc mauvaise insonorisation, avec un mauvais service. On a dû changer de chambre à 23h00 ! Mise à part la situation géographique, je ne recommande pas du tout cet hôtel.

Bon service, très propre, confortable. Très bon déjeuner buffet. Déception au niveau de la douche très petite, verres en carton.

L'Hotel est bien, mais quand on prend une douche on termine avec 3 pouces d'eau dans le bain.. mon voisin de chambre avait le même problème.

Hôtel à proximité de tout, petit déjeuner complet, lits confortables.

On dirait que le décor est figé dans les années 80. L'hotel mériterait d'avoir un "lifting"

Beaucoup de jeunes enfants qui couraient et deparents qui se réunissaient dans les corridors jusqu'à tard le soir 11:00

L'ensemble est intéressant. Bon service, bon déjeuner au resto «Le Rouge Vin», c'est propre et le quartier est intéressant. Le mobilier est vieillot, télévision d'un autre millénaire. Les oreillers sont bien trop gros, si j'avais eu les épaules 15 cm plus large j'aurais pu les utiliser.

Le rapport qualité prix de cet hôtel est faible.Cependant la restauration est bien.Lors de notre passage ils ont accueilli une équipe de hockey qui ont fêter pendant les deux nuits jusqu'au matin .....Discipline a revoir ...

Je croyais que cet hôtel avait été rénové. Si c'est le cas, notre chambre avait été oubliée!! Look des années 80, tapis, matelas, télé, couvre-lit, et bain des années 80 également. Bien situé et bon service, ce sont les seuls points positifs de cet hôtel.

nous avons passé seulement une nuit, mais la chambre était très bien, propre et grande. le seul hic, la douche qui nous laisse les pieds dans l'eau et le séchoir à cheveux qui ne fonctionne pas. le personnel est agréable et l'hôtel est en plein centre-ville!

L'Hotêl est bien situé, il s'agit pratiquement du seul commentaire positif de mon séjour. Dans ma chambre, j'ai entendu des bruits de vaiselles toute la soirée (provenant du restaurant de l'Hôtel), la salle de conditionnement physique est décevante, l'hôtel n'a sûrement pas fait d'amélioration à son établissement depuis plusieurs années. Le personnel était correct, mais pas plus. Je vais définitivement essayer un autre hôtel lors de mon prochain séjour à Trois-Rivières.
