Walking distance of all the main attractions. Located in the African quarter which is a bit down at heel and there are a lot of people hanging around the streets around the hotel but there was never any bother and we always felt safe enough walking home at night. The hotel itself was lovely. Breakfast was really good.

The room was smaller than any hotel room we have ever stayed before. We stayed there for 4 nights. Breakfast was fairly good. Wi Fi was O.K. You must keep the toilet seat cover on, otherwise the smell will be too strong. I believe this has has to do with the whole toilet system within this hotel. The shower was way too weak. The neighbourhood was scary at night but I think that this is true anywhere in Milan unless you book a hotel right on a main street. When the hotel is on a smaller side street, you will be bound to walk by not-so-well-lit areas and the sidewalks are narrow. We stayed in pretty well each night and got out early every morning.

Very pleasant hotel, friendly helpful staff. Our corner room was lovely and airy with opening windows on both sides. Plenty of space to move around. Breakfast was delicious,a beautiful spread with plenty of everything. We chose to eat out in the courtyard which was quieter than the busy restaurant. Bit of a long walk from the train station dragging our cases. Loved the market in adjacent Tunisia Street on Sunday. Also bought an excellent takeaway pizza across the road for E10. To get into the central area we used the nearby metro train.

We stayed several days there, then left for other places and spent the last nine days at Hotel Sampi. The second room we had was a better one than the first. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I especially loved the beautiful indoor plants! It was a bit noisy around happy hour from the street outside, but our daughter, who lives less than a block away, assured us it would calm down around 10:00, and was right. We appreciated that we had easy access to the Metro.

The hotel is spotless first and foremost. The check in staff were friendly, smiling and helpful during our stay. The hotel is a 15 min walk from central station where we had been let off the bus from Bergamo. You can walk into Duomo in about the same time or just use the metro as we did which was only at the end of the street near the hotel. The breakfast was simple continental but was fine to kick start the day. The gym was clean and had everything you need. The room had plenty of space and a balcony facing the street. We were on the first floor but there was no noise as it is a residential street. I would definitely stay again.

This was a pleasure & would definitely stay again & recommend to my friends.

We were thrilled with this hotel. The breakfast was amazing!

the 2 singles on wheels then then move around are very annoying, everything else though was great!

Hotel is located near the main train station, about 15 minutes walk, more with a big bagpack/luggage. It is also near a a shopping district. Corso Buenos Aries, the main shopping district (longest street in Europe some say), is just 5 minutes. You have everything you want/ need. Location of hotel is just perfect.

Hotel Management is definitely on top of things, but not the staff. We had an issue with our television, despite repeated requests to the front desk for 3 consecutive days, nothing was done. An email was sent to the hotel management and our television was fixed. We are definitely very impressed with the manager dealing with the issue, but wish the staff was performing at the same level of care and attention to their hotel guests.

The hotel is perfectly located close to the cathedral and easy to find, we walked from the Central Station, took about 10 minutes. Staff were very efficient and helpful, with sense of humour, but professional. Beautiful room. The only thing is that the double bed was two single beds put together (hence the comfort scale rating is a 4). Breakfast was fantastic, with plenty to choose from, and great taste. Thank you :)

Excellent service and great staff. Great breakfast and excellent price. Over all the best hotel we found in Italy.

We were pleasantly surprise .. A real gem in the heart of Milano, with great staff and so conveniently located. We will be back!

nice, clean hotel room. air conditioning was weak, but that should be expected in european hotel rooms. the buffet breakfast was very nice and had a lot of options.

The hotel is located within 15 minutes walk from the center of Milan. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Our only wish was that the AC in the room would make it cooler.

This is a good hotel. The front desk service is helpful. The breakfast is good. The rooms are a little dated, but all in all it is a fine place to stay.

Well-maintained 4-star hotel with helpful staff, near central train station. I would definitely stay here again.

A very pleasant stay. Good breakfast buffet. The hotel has a pretty and airy garden/courtyard where guests can have drinks and light meals.

The stay at the Sanpi hotel was great: great service, comfortable and clean room, experienced personnel, convenient location.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very quite area. Breakfast is very good. Bathrooms very small and uncomfortable. Furniture in the room very old and worn. Internet is not free.

It's a nice hotel located close to metro station. There is a supermarket near the hotel, and there are two delicious Chinese restaurants near it.

Nice location, close to Repubblica and Porta Venezia subway stations. Friendly staff. Recommendable for short durations.

The hotel is located in a good place. Very close to buenos aires street which is one of the streets of nice shopping. Very close to 2 metro stations, which helps to get obviously to all milano's best sites. The surrounding people of the hotel are frightning and probably by their looks and their accent they're not italian. If you don't care about that fault, you'll find yourself in a really nice hotel, with the nicest clerks and not the best breakfast but a fair one.

All staff are extremely customer focused and helpful. Bravo !! This is very surprising in Italy ... no disrespect. Mr. Enzo at the front reception is helpful and friendly.Rooms are reasonably sized and spacious. We had a three-person room and don't feel cramped. Excellent breakfast quality. Only comment is water shower pressure is low and air-con seems inadequate in summer. Good location ... 15 to 20 mins walk to Duomo.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sanpi. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the hotel was beautifully appointed with a comfortable quaint atmosphere. Easy access to transit to main attractions. Only downside was the area surounding the hotel was not up to the quality of the Sanpi. Overall a great experience due to the great staff and quality of the hotel.

Hotel room was very clean but could use some updating. A little far from city center, but close to train station. Area outside hotel a bit loud at night. Staff very nice and helpful. Breakfast was very nice with a variety of foods. Overall very nice but a bit expensive.

Beautiful boutique hotel with charming helpful staff. Great location near all. Cute room thoughtfully decorated and furnished.

Needed to take a Metro to get to historical sites. Neighborhood a little scary at night, and a lot of noise at night. We might have been put in a room that was more noisy because we booked at a discount rate.

Helt ok, läget är bättre än första anblicken antyder. Svag 4:a...

Hotelli oli hyvällä sijainnilla ja lähellä metroasemaa. Shoppailumahdollisuudet kävelymatkan päässä ja huoneet sekä palvelu kiitettävällä tasolla. Aamupalaruokala melko pieni.

Hotellin yleiset tilat pihapuistoineen todella viihtyisät. Mainio aamiainen, palvelu kaikin puolin sujuvaa ja ystävällistä. Huone 1. kerroksessa pihan puolella, liikenne ei kuulunut mutta naapurihuoneista kantautui jonkin verran ääniä. Huone oli siisti, tosin aika hämärä ja pienenpuoleinen. Varustelu hintatasoon nähden ok. Hotellin sijainti melko hyvä, metroasemalle n. 500 m ja ydinkeskusta kohtuullisen kävelymatkan päässä. Hotellikatu hiukan ankea ja kuljimmekin usein jompaakumpaa lähimmistä samansuuntaisista kaduista. Vastapäätä kuitenkin erinomainen, perinteinen perheravintola.
