The Georgian Terrace Hotel - אטלנטה

Classic hotel, great location, excellent restaurant and staff. We were updraded to a 2 bedroom suite; however, the bed mattress was old and sagging in the center of the bed. For the price a 4 out of 5.

There was a wedding going on during my stay and a couple of prom night parties. The hotel staff was completely overwhelmed. All calls to concierge kept going to voice mail and only one elevator was working! We ordered breakfast one morning and had to call an hour and a half later inquiring about it. Disappointing stay to say the least.

900sq ft room that was great! everything was better than expected!

For the past few years, I've gone to Atlanta for a visit to my favorite city in the US, and this is perfectly located in midtown. The rooms are very spacious and the staff are really great. Trust me, pay a little more and make your Atlanta stay better at the Georgian Terrace.

Very pleased with our stay. The hotel was beautiful, and the beds were luxurious - the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept on. I was sad to have to get up to leave the comfort of the bed the next morning. I would stay here again.

Absolutely great! Our room was available upon arrival and the keys were waiting for us at the desk. When I asked room service if they could deliver a pizza to the room about midnight, so that we would have it when we arrived home from a night out, they were very accomodating and indeed the pizza was in the room when we got back. They had even wrapped the pizza box in aluminium foil to keep it warm!

Anything that could go wrong did. Elevators not working, bellman and coffee shop employees ornery, and a terribly outdated room. If you're to provide a full kitchen, you better either A) provide dishes or B) make it clear that you do not. There wasn't even a drinking glass. They're clearly resting on their reputation. What they might not be aware of is that they're creating a new reputation for this "modern classic."

The only problem we had on our stay was the elevators were out so we had to use the service elevator. Other than that the hotel was wonderful. We stayed there for the UofL championship games and the hotel was really nice, especially because it was on the street right where everything was going on. Nice location...

The hotel was great, the staff was very helpful, hotel was gorgeous with all its history, our suite was very comfortable, would definitely stay there again, highly recommend staying there

Overall great for the location, its reputation, amount of money paid & service level of the staff. Staff was completely professional, promptly greeted and even offered a larger bed if desired. Valet staff was very efficient & helpful. A lot of weddings are held here but not at all disturbing to guests. Room was clean overall (sans ice bucket that had dust on top and toilet didn't flush well). Downers were the pool was closed and the elevator badly in need of repair/renovation. It was slow the first day, we were directed to the service elevator that evening & by next morning everyone was taking the stairs to checkout (14 flights)

Made the reservation in the afternoon. Went to the Braves game and then to the hotel. I couldn't get into the parking area. There was something going on and waited to park for 30 minutes in the middle of the road. Decided to drive the 3 hours home rather than wait any longer.

MY ROOM WAS SMALLER THAN WHAT I EXSPECTED. DID NOT HAVE A KING SIZE BED AS I WAS TOLD TO BE. THE PUB IN THE BASEMENT AS AGREAT BARTENDER.

overall the hotel was fine. the bar/restaurant area was quite nice. the bed, however, was as mushy as they come - not good if you like firm beds.

We stayed here for a change of scenery for our anniversary and it was great. Our room was upgraded to the bridal suit. Did not use any off the space but the view was beautiful from the 18th floor. Great clean room and bathroom. Felt like being home. But family friendly though for one reason, the windows open! With no safety screen and we were on the 18th floor. Oh and parking is 25 a night. Ouch!

Everyone on the staff was very friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the Georgian Terrace prior to attending a play at the Fox Theater which is right across the street. Great hotel, very clean, enjoyed the stay. Amenities are excellent and the Livingston Restaurant is the place to eat!

We rented one of their one bedroom suites and found a clean large suite. The staff was very accommodating and prompt. We will stay again the next time we are in Atlanta. We felt the accommodations were well worth the price.

Upon checking in, everyone was very pleasant. Check-In was a breeze. When we arrived to my room with the bellman, we noticed that the entire window was out & on the floor next to one of the double beds. Yes, I said "double beds" even though I'd reserved a premier luxury suite. An engineer was called to fix the window, but we no longer felt safe in the space - we were on the 17th floor. The hotel "upgraded" us to the room we'd originally booked and we were satisfied. It's truly a beautiful place - once you get to where you're supposed to be.

They still use single pain windows as a result the room was freezing. The furniture is very old.

We came into Atlanta for business and stayed one night. Our room was amazing! Everything had thought behind it. Black out curtains, linens, beautiful shower, a walk in closet AND an extra closet. The shower head needed to be soaked because it had 3 streams of water only, but it was a nice room and beautiful hotel. Midtown area is really cool. Easy to navigate with tons of food places.

This is a beautiful hotel! The manager provided us with a free room upgrade & allowed us to check in 2 hours early. The room was spacious & very clean. The hotel is located in the heart of downtown Atlanta with access to many restaurants & amenities within walking distance (ie: Fox Theater, coffee bars, & cafes). The hotel is also very quiet & we enjoyed a very pleasant night with spectacular views of the city from both our room & the rooftop pool. We will definitely return to this hotel on our next weekend get-away.

The suite was huge but looked like it hasn't been updated since the 70s. Water temperature was very hard to control, it went from cold to scalding hot with just a little movement of the knob. I burned myself several times. They also did not provide hair conditioner unles you specifically asked for it. The hairdryers provided were also terrible. On the plus side, the service was great.

Lots of street noise at night to keep you up. Bring your ear plugs. I was there fve nights and every night I was woken up by sirens or loud cars.

Very nice. Close to attractions we wanted to see and do. A little better co-ordination needed between bell staff and valet would alleviate some congestion at check out.

Staff was rude and definitely not worth the money. The charged for parking which is fine but when they fill the parking lot with people attending a concert across the street and you don't have a spot, thats just poor planning. They nickle and dimed for everything and the room looked like something from a welfare hotel. Dated and in need of a total update! Microtel has more to offer, is cleaner and gives a free breakfast. It has potential but not with the current management and staff.

The hotel was represented as an updated classic and it is anything but. The elevators worked sporatically, the bell hop never brought the bags up, there is a full kitchen that is dated and has cheap cabinets, the bathroom is old and was cheaply redone in the 1980's but the toothpaste and hairspray splatter on the walls was nicer than the ugly peeling wallpaper and the moldy ceilings. They charged me a pet fee of $75 per dog per night and $25 per day to park in their lot, ALL without my consent. To add insult to injury, they filled the parking garage the one night for with people attending a concert across the street with no thought that paying guests need spaces too. The Red Carpet as more class and is probably cleaner!!! STAY AWAY!!!

I had a pleasurable stay here. Service was good, rooms were clean and the location was perfect for my business meetings. I had great connectivity so business meetings went of well. This 100 year old building is pretty well maintained and definitely worth coming back to. At night you might want to avoid wandering too much on the streets since it gets a little deserted after office hours.

My girls and I come to ATL every year at this time to go the aquarium and coke museum and anything else we can find to do. They are 7 and 8. The hotel was in a great spot for walking around and finding things to do. We walked to the Varsity to the local Starbucks to Publix for snacks. The hotel staff was helpful and pleasant. We would definitely stay there again!!!

Please check the descriptions of the rooms on the website vs. actual rooms that are available. I thought I was getting a deluxe luxury suite with a king sized bed. Instead, I was put in a room with 2 queen beds & no suite per se. I thought a suite provided a living room area and a kitchenette or refrigerator. I was told there is no "suite." Suites were available but I don't know how they described it. I thought I had looked at pictures of the room... but I did something wrong. It's a great location.

I have stayed here before and return because of the location and room rates. It is a lovely hotel and the staff are helpful and pleasant. This trip I did not get the room type that I reserved. The hotel said it was an upgrade, but instead of a one bedroom suite I had what seemed a standard room although very large.

the location is great even on a very busy road. But almost all the rooms are on the back. The bad comfort rate is due to the noise you have in your room. The fridge was probably in the movie "Gone with the wind" and was making an unbelievable noise. Noise coming as well from the boiler and from all around (other fridges in other roooms). For 120$ per night I would expect stuff from this century and not from 1800!!

I loved the hotel and the service, it was great but the condition of the room was not as nice as the rest of the hotel. The pictures shown online are mostly of the penthouses not the actual rooms or suites. But overall good experience.

Loved the cozy corner petite room! Perfect!

This hotel is awful and you should never stay here. I stayed during the NFC Championship weekend and one would think with all of the activities going on they would be eager to do business NOT AT ALL. I checked into the hotel at 2 pm on Sunday and found out the hotel room service did not start until 5 pm, I thought most hotel room service hours were from 6 am-midnight. First time I have ever stayed in a place where it had hours of operation. Room service closed but so are all the bars in the hotel. So you are expecting me to leave to get food from another establishment and watch the games, interesting. My friend and I decide to relax in the room, watch the games and order a cheese platter from room service when it opened. I kid you not; it takes 2 hours, for the hotel to deliver a cheese plate and 2 beers. Their excuse was other people had ordered ahead of me. But, how long does it take to make a cheese plate? The real kicker was my friend and I smoked in my hotel room on the balcony. The waiter who brought the food must have smelled it, and immediately went to the front desk staff and told them. The hotel proceeded to lock me out of my room with all of my belongings inside and refused to let me in until I had paid a $250 smoking fee. This is after spending the money on the hotel and upgrading to a suite and spending $50 on a cheese plate that took 2 hours to deliver. This hotel is nice but a complete rip off. There are nicer hotels in Atlanta with better service.

Wife and I used this hotel as a launching point for a concert in Downtown along with shopping an bar hopping in L5P, Virginia Highlands and Buckhead. Perfect location (as long as you don't try and drive on Peachtree around morning or evening rush hour - took us 50 minutes to drive 2 miles on Peachtree at 5:15 in the afternoon). Cab rides to and from average $10-$15 each way - which is definitely reasonable, but I would still recommend brinign your own car - MARTA is unrealiable. Hotel staff was super freindly. Check out Proof and Provision in the basement for quality cocktails. Would abosultely stay here again. Reserve one of the Superior (i.e., refurbished rooms) - we did, and heard that these rooms are way better than the older rooms.
