Improve the room update the rooms walls must be clean improve maintenance but for sleep no too bad

One of the best Motels I have stayed at during my vacation. The staff were very friendly and assisted with all my requests. Good value for money.

My wife and I were pleased with the over all service, location, cleanliness of the rooms.

carpet was too dirty, the walk way smelled like cigarreting a lot...

hotel was comfortable and quiet. Unfamiliar neighborhood looked questionable to me.

I was very pleased with the place and the service I received. I burned my hand accidentally and they took very good care of me.

Accidentally booked this hotel thinking it was a different one. The hotel needs to remodeled & an elevator added as well. Had to call twice to get my room cleaned.

Room was comfortable but we had a toilet that would run sporadically and the noise was a little unnerving until we figured out what it was.

Good hotel for the money. I got what I paid for and would stay there again. Only problem was a slight musty smell in the halls and room from the carpet. but it was clean, noise was minimal. Breakfast every morning simple but adequate.

We have stayed here before and will do again. The hotel is value for money and in a good neighbourhood on PCH in Torrance. We had first floor room overlooking the pool, with good access to the lobby where breakfast is served. The breakfast is sufficient to see you thru to lunch and if the lobby area is full it's nice to sit by the pool and eat. The staff are very helpful, and polite. I understand there are poor reviews for this hotel, but for us, it was suitable and we had no complaints.

Front desk staff was very helpful. Larger than most breakfasts. Room was clean and stocked well.

we stay here every time we are visiting family in the area. It is clean, quiet, with comfortable beds and an good continental breakfast. It is a basic hotel that meets our needs.

It's a Days Inn...you can't expect a 5-star hotel for a cheap price. Pros: the room was clean, got new towels every day, the sheets got changed when we asked for it, the fridge and microwave worked, the little balcony was cute. Cons: the breakfast was weak, the a/c was extremely loud, the paint was peeling off the walls in the bathroom, the remote control didn't work. Again, you get what you pay for.

We enjoyed our stay, except for our PTSD neighbor, who screamed obscenities from 4am-10 am!! We spoke to the front desk later that morning and they said they would speak to our neighbor. The rest of our stay was pleasant. Unfortunately, the two beds seemed oversized for the room. Cable, breakfast and the basics were available. Plus the amazing Bombay Tandoori & Banquet Indian restaurant which is located on the same lot as Days Inn. Try there buffet from 11 am-3 pm, you won't be disappointed!! The location is great, near lots of restaurants, stores and close to the beach. Plus you can bring you dog. Our dog was very happy to be able to stay with us!

The room appeared redone from a building that was not originally a hotel. Insufficient electrical outlets; floor plan very poor-booked as a suite with only one bathroom and no privacy in either bedrooms. Kitchen had no cooking supplies, we had to wait to use an iron and there were pets in the building.

Cons- Room stinks. No smoking but neighbor's smoke permeates into room. Pillow stinks. TV is bad. No iron in room. Pro- friendly staff The money saved is not worth it. Will not return.

For the price I paid the Hotel is good

Stayed for three nights while in the Torrance area for personal business. I was pleased with this hotel. For starters: This is an inexpensive and not fancy hotel. The room was basic and the decor a little dated, but very clean and lacking nothing. The staff were very helpful and friendly and we did not have any issues. Great choice for the money. Also, the breakfast they provide is a nice treat, and there is a decent swimming pool.

I think they had bed bugs. Got bites.

The hotel staff were helpful and the room was great for large family. Our room had 2 doubles, 1 pull sofa bed, and a seperate room with a king bed. The only disappointment was the breakfast. It consisted mainly of donuts, toas and juice. It wasn't what was advertised. One other problem was we were charged extra to clean our room when my son wet the bed. Good place if you just want someplace to sleep and close to most attractions.

We booked Days Inn Torrance last minute. The price was cheap, we had minimal expectations. The staff was friendly enough, we checked in early to drop off our stuff and find dinner. My wife and I always check mattresses for bed bugs etc. to avoid taking home any uninvited passengers. We pulled back the sheet in HORROR to find what appeared to be a large (We are talking the size of a dinner plate) pool of what appeared to be BLOOD on the MATTRESS. We immediately went to guest services to make them aware of the situation. The guest service seriously replied "I believe you, and I am not surprised." I asked to be upgraded to sanitary room. He made a phone call and we were upgraded to a cleaner room on the top floor.

good value and facilities

this hotel is a very comfortable hotel for the price. they have a better than most continental breakfast with fresh fruit, assorted breads and cereal. It is not the ritz. if you are looking for a clean, comfortable, bargain hotel, this place can't be beat

Did not stay at the hotel much but it was a good place for a reasonable price!

Counter personnel were very helpful and pleasant. Maids were also helpful as my pillow was like cardboard and they exchanged it asap. Rooms need to be painted and cleaned. Hallways need to be redone. When you open the door it hits the front of the bed. There is a light outside, above the little window that shines in the room. I had to put a pillow over it , it was so annoying.

Good...hotel is in a good location from the beaches, restaurants, and shopping centers. Hotel staff is very nice, helpful, family oriented, rooms are very spacious (loved that) with all amenities. Beds were comfortabl Bad-old amenities. Walls had broken light sockets, dried liquid on it. Ugly-Sleeper sofas need to be cleaned The carpets were filthy!!! After 10 minutes of arriving my littles one feet were dirty black on the bottom. We all kept on shoes whenever we stepped on the carpet. Horrible!!! I spent over a hundred dollars buying cleaning supplies and table covers so I could feel like everything was sanitary and clean. Looks do make a difference!! If it looks dirty, then it is hard to feel it's clean. If homeless with no options, than I would stay at this hotel in a heartbeat, but if on vacation or want a nice comfortable clean place to enjoy your family this is not the place until major upgrading of furniture, cleaning walls, replacing carpet, and replacing missing parts and pieces is done the feeling your going to experience is going to be...the rooms are filthy: for I rented two due to our large family.

room smelled and needed a coat of paint. Very stuffy. Needed windows that could be opened. Both tv remotes didn't work even after exchanging at office.

the room was DISGUSTING nasty carpet! the i didn't even want to step foot in the room! let alone walk barefoot on it! we got a "NON SMOKING" room which reeked like cigarette smoke. the room was so dingy and nasty i will never agn stay at ANY days in EVER as long as i live!!!!!!! the only good thing about our stay was the neighborhood was safe, and the little indian restaurant attached had really good food

Everything was nice about the hotel except that the carpets were dirty. Not stinky, but dirty. If you walked barefoot on the carpets, your feet looked like you had walked outside.the carpets were vacuumed everyday and still gave u dirty feet. Otherwise, everything was great.

Great value for this hotel. I would certainly go back.

I was very satisfied with my stay at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone who just needs a comfy place to stay for a few days with a friend or two. I would say that the only real downsides to this establishment would be the slightly cramped parking lot and the limited breakfast choices. There was also a minor issue with the floor of our room being slightly dirty; only enough to darken our feet and socks a little. Besides that everything was excellent and despite these things I intend to use this hotel to house my visiting friends again in the future.

When we first checked in, they gave us a teeny, TINY room with absolutely NO view. We paid for a king bed and got 2 doubles. They were more than accommodating when we mentioned this to them. We then ended up with a room on the 3rd floor, facing the pool /restaurant. It was an okay room, but the noise from the restaurant was ridiculous!! We were in a NO SMOKING room, but had to smell the smoke of those at the pool. There was NO where for us to park either. They have reserved parking for the restaurant, so that the hotel patrons have to park in the back...even with our rooms in the front. The rates were pretty decent, but I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone that wants rest and relaxation. It was a lot of frustration!
