Had a lovely stay! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is very centrally located!! Will definitely be returning!!!

Clean room , great personal , and most of all near a mall

Everything in Fort Lauderdale is expensive at all times. However this hotel does a good job and at least you feel like you're getting value

I Didn't know that the Hotel was animal friendly, in which there were a Dog show going on that weekend at the hotel, and I don't like it when animal's and people share the same room together. Our room had stains in the carpet, and the bed was too soft. My Stay was not very good, or comfortable.

The room lay-out was nice, very comfortable bed, ac filters were clean, too bad it was the only thing in the room that was clean. I cleaned the bathroom and floors. If management wants clean rooms for their patrons; I suggest they examine what the staff does and then teach the staff their standard of clean.

Was what I was expecting and comfortable for a one day stay.

Breakfast was poor, all carbs. Coffee awful. Bed was comfortable.

The beds in our room had some kind of covering on them that crackled like dry stiff plastic. Every time one of us moved we work the other up.

We booked this location because it was the most affordable in the area that had parking and 'free breakfast" The breakfast area was really small and VERY crowded. If you were familiar with the area it may be easy to locate local restaurants but not being familiar at all with the area there was no 'local walking map' to help get around or a listing of near-by eating locations.

There were only two choices for me, and the one I got was right by the breakfast room, so it became noisey at 6am. Luckily I wasn't staying out late the nights before, so it wasn't too disturbing.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 days it was wonderful, they even checked us in early. We stay here after departing our cruise. It is a very good location for shopping and ideal if you are not driving the bus stop is accross the road over by Westfield Mall...just jump and a bus and in 5mins you are at Sawgrass Mall and anywhere else u want to go. The room was big and clean, love the setup and breakfast was good. This Hotel is real value for money!!!

Front staff person initially had wrong information but another staff person took care of the problem intelligently and timely

Breakfast was not very good cold hard boiled eggs and cold cereal also twin beds in bedrooms not a good clean place to stay

We stayed here while visiting relatives for Christmas. I basically chose it for the location and the price was slightly lower than other hotels in the area. The room was basically clean, but there was an old ice bucket cover under the sink area, and I intentionally left it there to see if the staff would pick it up, which it did not. The breakfast area seemed to be rushed each morning by people who acted like they hadn't eaten in weeks, coming back for 3rd's and 4th's! These same people thought nothing of throwing stuff on the floor. For our purposes it was an OK stay.

Non-smoking rooms NOT GUARANTEED. Everything else was ok.

Hotel needs to be updated, elevator replaced. I called to be sure we could get attached rooms and was assured we could. When we arrived, staff wanted to argue the point and gave us rooms across the hall. We waited 45 minutes and couldn't get in until 6:00 when check-in was 3:00. There was no compensation for our inconvenience and I didn't appreciate the manager insinuating that I was lying about calling the day before. Not happy with the staff response.

Older motel, some upgrades but---- Breakfast was like feeding time on the Sarongete too many animals for soooo little space--quality of food poor.

Centrally located, close to everything, comfortable rooms, front desk personal was very friendly and helpful. On the negative side only minor details not worth to be mentioned.

We stayed at the other La Quinta about a block away a few years ago and thought it was a much better set up. At this La Quinta it was a tight fit as it was 2 double beds and we are a family of 4 (with 2 little ones, ages 5 and 8). Also, the bathroom sink had no room for us to set our toiletries on, there were stains on the carpet and furniture, and the TV reception was poor on most channels. Maintenance came to fix the TV and some channels improved, but overall still poor quality. It was pretty inexpensive and showed. The breakfast area was too small for the amount of people it served. I must say the best thing, other than price is that the beds were surprisingly comfortable. Next time we would probably opt to pay a little more and stay somewhere else.

Room was not as seen on the internet. Cigarette burns all over the carpet. Room smell was smokey. The was stands of hair in the shower as well as in the microwave. I will not recommend this hotel location to anyone!!

I was very pleased with La Quinta. They allowed us to check out at 1pm instead of 12pm without any extra costs. I would recommend this hotel because it was affordable and a great location.

good location for what we had to do. a/c was very loud kept us awake. TV bad picture not many channels. sink leaked. toilet didnt work. got our room changed. will not stay there agine !

We wanted to extend our stay one night earier, but was told the hotel was full. Ok we understood, but wouldn't you expect more people for breakfast? When we went down for breakfast, there were empty bowls with ice, not sure what for. No fruit or yogurt and juice was watered down to undrinkable. Had to ask for cream cheese for a dried out stale bagel.
