Excellent in every way. Staff is very helpful and friendly! Our favoutire place to stay in Halifax.

Spent 2 nights - room and bath quite tiny, but ambiance and location are terrific, and full breakfast is a real plus.

Friendly, helpful staff. Perfect location. Very good breakfast buffet. Looking forward to staying there again!

We only stayed one night, but found the room to be very small ( no room to put our luggage) As well it was very warm and the window air conditioner was too loud to have it on all night - did not sleep well at all. Breakfast was not great - very little selection and not tasty or well presented! On a positive note the staff were very good and the history of the building is very unique and interesting.

We loved our stay at the Waverly. The Inn was absolutely beautiful and the history of the Inn added to our enjoyment. The breakfast had everything one could wish for and was included in the rate. The free parking was another excellent bonus.

A very good quality small hotel in Halifax. We've stayed at bigger places, but they're never quite the same, so we keep going back to the Waverley. Its Victorian charm is its biggest asset, and it has a great location downtown. You can walk to the water, the farmer's market, Spring Garden and a few good restaurants. It's also the only downtown hotel I can think of that doesn't charge for parking and includes breakfast. A great value. A few criticisms: the doors to the rooms are hollow, which keeps out none of the noise from the hallway. Our ground floor room was also closer to where employees smoke outside, and the smell somehow managed to waft in. Otherwise, highly recommended.

What can I say?? The room was clean, quiet and tastefully decorated. The bed was deep and comfortable. The staff were terrific and the location was perfect. Will definitely be staying on our future trips to Halifax.

Very enjoyable stay, great breakfasts included, room was slightly smaller than we had expected and tub was in a strange spot, but all in all quite a nice and comfortable visit. Lovely home with antique furnishings. Would certainly recommend

I had to deal with 3 people just to book a room for my girlfriend who had to stay there as she was up for medical reasons. She then gets to the hotel where she is told she can not get in the room because she does not have the credit card. I went through This on the phone with all three people and explained I was in Alberta and she was in nova scotia. I had to then drive all over the place looking for a fax machene to send over a copy of the card. Very unprofessional.
