We were visiting for my brothers college graduation. The hotel room was nice but the phone in the room did not work, the refridgerator did not work, the pool towels were too small to fit around my 3 year old son, and the pool was dirty. We asked for the pool to be cleaned and they told us no. Will never stay here again.

After traveling all day i would expect that the electricity at least work.

Holiday Inn Express was exactly suited for my trip. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient.

Front desk staff were not very friendly. They did the job but did not appear to enjoy it at all. I did not see a single staff smile once. The hotel is clean overall. The complimentary breakfast isn't very good but they did have fresh fruit to offer. There is a great japanese restaurant and wing place at a nearby plaza, along with a grocery store.

The room had an unpleasant scent. It was very humid in the room like the air didn't work. The temperature never changed regardless of what I set it to so I don't think the air worked. Check out is at 11am and I happen to be finishing a call at that time but at 10:59 housekeeping started a loud vacuum right outside the door. In fact, it was knocking the door. I thought that was rude.

The stay was great..... only one suggestion, variety at the breakfast bar. You offer the same food choices ( egg & sauage & danish) every morning. Maybe change the variety from time. The food offered was good and cleanliness was excellent. Thank you again, stay was very good!!

Very good stay

I was very pleased! Our coffee pot didn't work at first so I called the office and within 10 minutes they brought us a new one right out of the package! I had 3 kids with me one being a 4month old and I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the room! It was nice and spacious and very quiet and peaceful! I am coming back in April and will definitely stay there again!

Overall experience was good. Seemed like a new hotel due to recent renovations. Definitely recommend to others to check out.

We had a lovely visit for one night. The room was clean and the location was very close to restaurants and a Publix. The only complaint was that one of the two elevators was broken at the height of check out time and n one at the front desk seemed to put forth any effort to have it repaired. Otherwise a good value.

The stay was fine. It suited our needs quite well. We were on a shopping trip to Sawgrass and environs. Very conveneient. The only thing was that I thought that a microwave oven should have been a standard room amenity. That was a drawback especially when you are accompanied with kids.

The hotel was nice. Our room was very spacious and the furnishings were very nice. Quality linens and towels. My only complaint on the room was that the sink was slow to drain and the tub/toilet room had a very musty/mildewy smell. It looked clean but smelled stale. The rest of the hotel (lobby, hallways, and pool) were very well kept and nice. The continental breakfast was excellent. Only stayed one night, but for the price and lenght of stay, the hotel was fine. Will likely stay here again when we are in town for a child's sporting activity. The surrounding area is ok. Several restaurants nearby.

Nice neighborhood, confortable room, good breakfast.

The hotel was clean and inviting. The staff was friendly and responded to needs quickly. Our door was missing a lock and he fixed it right away. We never could get enough towels for our family though,, they always said they were out and we asked for a blanket for the pullout sofa bed but were told they didn't have any more blankets. That was a bit annoying but heat worked so at night we just switched from ac to heat. We all enjoyed the breakfast, wonderful selection and the lady that did it most mornings (we stayed 7 days) was fabulous! Pool was nice, kids enjoyed it which was a bonus! Loved the location, easy drive to beach and area stores and places to dine. Would stay here again. Needed to delay our trip one week and had used hotel.com and it was switched without any problem.

Hotel was vary clean and well maintained , polite and courteous employees . The room had a fresh and new look to it . I would return visit if needed.

Perfect location for us, and a very nice set of buildings. Unfortunately, we were obviously the first guests to ever stay in our room. We arrived around 8PM. 1. The lock strike-plate was installed upside down, so the deadbolt was more than 1 inch off, and unusable. A maintenace man came up immediately and replaced the latch saying that the contruction company was installing left handed hardware on right-hinged doors, etc. 2. The heating/cooling unit was running on A/C only. There was no electricity connected to the thermostat controls. Could not be turned OFF, or to HEAT or even to adjust TEMPERATURE controls. I finally just covered over the blower vent with an extra blanket to avoid freezing! 2. Electricity to the outlets kept going on and off. This affected my laptop and we also had to keep resetting the clock radio (we finally gave up). 3. The TV was blank on several channels- notably PBS &NBC. 4. The bathtub & bath area had never received a proper cleaning. The tub was both dusty and covered in older "stuck-on" dirt. 5. There was no "Do Not Disturb" sign in the room. Except for the door-latch, all the other items were minor for us, and we were just too tired to complain. Given the friendliness of the staff and situation of the hotel construction, we just let it go. We definitely would stay there again.

I recently stayed at the Plantation, FL Holiday Inn Express. I expected the same quality I am accustomed to with the Holiday Inn Express. I was very disappointed indeed. I arrived at the hotel at 10:00pm after driving 8 hours. All I wanted was a good night’s sleep as I was on business just starting a new job. What I got was quite different. The hotel was under renovation which is ok but they did not notify me of this. The place was a mess. I go straight to bed and I was kept awake all night long by an obnoxious Teen age boys Hockey Team. I called the front desk twice and they sent security up twice to no avail. The boys ignored security and partied all the night long. I got no sleep at all. Then I decided I will exercise. I had asked if the hotel had an exercise room and they told me yes. Well they had one but it was full of furniture and boxes and what not. Then the straw that broke the camel’s back was I was to meet my new boss that morning at the hotel and we were to work at the hotel all day and the most important item I needed and asked about as well was wireless internet. I was told they had it and it worked well. It was not working at all. I had reservations to stay all week. I checked out that day and went to another hotel and had a very pleasant stay there.

We felt safe, room was clean,breakfast was decent, and the staff was helpful and friendly. No complaints.

i recommend this hotel, the guys in the front desk are very very friendly, located between Fort Lauderdale and Sawgrass, convenient for shopping at Sawgrass and visit the city of Fort Lauderdale.

Our room was very comfortable and clean. We were surprised , however, with the abruptness of staff in closing breakfast when people were still eating and then having housekeeping come by to kick us out of the room at exactly 11:00 on Sunday. Wherever we have traveled, food is left out until guests finish and guests may leave at their leisure at 5 or 10 minutes after checkout time. Also, a car was broken into overnight at this hotel's parking lot.

So we were looking for a hotel near the bank atlantci center because we attending the Iron Maiden concert on april 16, 2011. This was in excellent location of attractions near by and away from violence (some parts of florida can be iffy) We parked our car in the parking lot and walked around at night...safely..It was an overall great experience. They have nice rooms for the budget prices. Breakfast was great, filling, and they even had eggs..who has eggs? lol...Service was great..you know when you get a hotel room and they give you like 2 towels..well i walked downstairs to the housekeeping door..knocked on it..asked the woman for some towels...and she gave me 6..thats what im talking about. Rooms were extremely clean upon entry....maid came once again and cleaned up all the trash and changed out all the towels and etc. The pool was quite nice with music playing outside. All in all...go with this hotel...you surely cant go wrong!

We were very dissatisfied with this hotel. the lobby appeared un kept,the roomwas extremely small,there were people figkting in the lobbl and the sorrounding grounds there were security to be found, we couldnt wait to check out the next mornng.

I really liked this hotel, for what I paid for the room I was very Pleased. The location is very acessible and not far from the Mall. Which is a plus is like to shop. We were there for the fourth of july so our intended purpose was for sleeping as our days were filled with activiites.

Die Lage des Hotels ist recht ab vom Schuß, jedoch mit sehr guter Erreichbarkeit vom Sawgrass Outlet Center (Riesig und sehr zu empfehlen) oder der BT&T sport arena (z.B. Florida Panthers Eishockey). Das Frühstück war überdurchschnittlich für Verhältnis der sonstiges USA. Die Rezeption hat uns über Erreichbarkeit der Stadionarena weitergeholfen und war sehr freundlich. Internetverbindung war ebenfalls sehr stabil und fix.

Bien, buen hotel. Cómodo, rico desayuno, el único problema que no existen recepcionistas que hablen inglés

Good Hotel, if you can stay in the main tower is better, closer to carry bags and closer to breakfast. Don't get late for breakfast ends sharp on time.

Sempre ficamos no hotel. O café da manhã é excelente, padrão de todos os hotéis da rede Express do Holiday Inn. O hotel é muito novo, limpo, a recepção muito atenciosa. Fica há 5 minutos do Sawgrass, tem vários restaurantes, lanchonetes e mercados na região. O quarto é pequeno mas confortável. Sou cliente e só fico nele. NUNCA FIQUEM no Quality Inn ao lado - é uma bomba, o pior hotel que já fiquei na vida. Sejam fiéis à rede Holiday Inn Express porque vale à pena.

Muito conveniente para quem vai fazer compras em Sawgrass, café da manhã bom (para os padrões americanos), quarto amplo e confortável.

Ich habe ein Standardzimmer mit meiner Frau gebucht, erhalten habe ich für 4 Nächte ein Zimmer für Leute mit einer Behinderung. Das bedeutet: Keine Badewanne, keinen Duschrand (Wasser läuft beim Duschen ins ganze Badezimmer) zudem keinen Zimmersafe wie beschrieben, kein Kühlschrank im Zimmer oder keine Eismaschine im Gang. Einziges und für uns auch wichtiges plus, die Zimmer waren sauber. Nach Angaben der Hotelrezeption konnte mann uns wegen Vollbesetzung unmöglich ein anderes Zimmer geben...

Boa, porém o hotel não cumpriu com a reserva feita. Pedi uma reserva para um quarto melhor e colocaram-me no standard.

El hotel estuvo bien, solo que la reservacion estaba para 5 personas y me dieron una habitacion pequeña con dos camas dobles, tuve que pedir una cama adicional por la que pague 10USD x noche, pero en general bien, buena atencion, comodo, incluye desayuno (no es muy variado)

YO CATALOGARIA EL HOTEL COMO BUENO, LO MALO ES QUE NO TIENE NADA CERCA, FUE UN POCO COMPLICADO LLEGAR, Y EN MI CASO QUE SOY FUMADOR NO TIENE HABITACIONES PARA FUMADORES... DE RESTO CON RESPECTO A LAS INSTALACIONES TODO BIEN Y CON RESPECTO AL COSTO ME PARACE MUY COSTOSO PARA LO QUE OFRECEN CONSIDERANDO QUE AL LADO EN OTRO HOTEL DE SIMILAR CATEGORIA QUE NO ES DE LA CADENA HOLLYDAY INN SALE EN 50 DOLARES MENOS
