Beds need replaced, I could feel each spring with my back. But if you are tired enough then it will nor matter. The location was good for me because it is not far from Korea town where I needed to be for a meeting.

Dollar for dollar, it would be hard to beat. Nice staff, housekeeping and front desk. Everyone helpful. Woulld reccommend this place to others.

The hotel is old and work but clean and the staff are great. They have an on site restaurant that the staff are rude and highly inconsiderate and dress unprofessional compared to the suit and tie of the hotel staff. They have a lounge but it was closed during my visit. The pool was warm and fun.

The people behind the counter are friendly. I've stayed here a couple times because of that. There aren't any amenities in most rooms. The only difference between the "upgraded" rooms and regular ones are a refrigerator and microwave. Everything else --furnishings, bathroom fixtures, service-- is exactly the same. You could buy a couple pretty decent meals for the price of the upgrade and forget about the microwave and refrigerator... Anyway my biggest complaint is the very spotty wireless service which drops constantly. That really makes it impossible to work here or surf the web or do anything modern society requires. Too bad because, like I said, the people are friendly.

Great location, virtually right off the freeway. Easy to connect to major LA freeways. Several restaurants are within walking distance. We received very good service. An example: we asked for some extra towels, since the kids left some pool side. Front desk even called to make sure that they were delivered. The room looked a bit dated. There's even a tube TV, but it's clean and quiet. We were rested and ready for a day at the Universal Studios.

This my observation,why is it at night the guys wearing suites, I would assume are the manager/supervisors ? Are there? Should somebody like that be there in the morning where it's usually the occasion ? Also, the person in the front desk ( I know it's not a 5 start hotel ) but dress better ? Just my observation,one of your staff was very helpful when I inquired the closest church during Easter Sunday.

I was impressed by the staff there. they were helpful and friendly. The room was clean. With the price, I am very satisfied with that room.

I can't believe it, this place has no fridge or microwave!

the staff is great, place is clean- needs updating, no fridges or microwaves. TV's are old and the cable kinda blows. vending machines empty and the restaurant is ok- but they need better food. also someone did not notice the TWO large aggressive dogs allowed into my next door room who barked constantly. I had to alert security- they were dismissed from the premises.

I always stay here when I'm in LA. Parking is tricky at night due to the lounge but very safe and comfortable for the money.

We were 10 mins late in checking out and during that time 2 people after 5 mins came and asked us to leave which was very ridiculous. I mean we stayed there for 3 days. It is over rated I think.

I reacently stayed at a super 8 and it was disgusting. So naturally when I booked the days inn I was kind of worried because it was the same price. But to our surprise it was very nice the building is a bit older bit very well kept and the rooms are very clean and sanitary. We loved it and plan on staying again. The staff is friendly and courtious. The only thing we didn't try was the restaurant but the food around the neighborhood is delisious and close.

Middle of the road price and accommodations, however if you need to be in Glendale and don't want to spend a fortune, this is one of the better choices. It's very close to my kid's, so I'd stay there again.

The hotel room was comfortable and very clean. However, the hallway reeked of smoke. I would stay here again though because of the clean, comfortable room and the good price.

Convenient location. Right off the highway. Super friendly staff. Food is pretty good too.

This is nice place to stay. It is conveniently located and close to tourist spots. Rooms were clean.

ok, the rooms need help- no microwaves or fridges, but there is a restaurant, room service and a bar. the Staff is awesome- esp Elaine. Pet friendly, and they clean up after pets very well. the motel does need an overhaul- the cable is not the best and no flat screens here. older bathtubs. But they have accommodations for the handicapped, it's in a central point of Glendale. Lots of parking too. And they are the last of the smoking motels in Glendale. The heater/AC units work very well and most are brand new.

Not very good ,to many lights outside ,TV needs up-dating not enough channels for viewing

I stay for two nights with my wife in this hotel. It was great experience to pay 2 stars hotel price and get 4 stars hotel service. Big clean room, excellent service at the reception and very good location(few minutes by car to all shopping).I recommend it to all who is interested to get very good service /rate ratio.

Our family stayed here over Thanksgiving 2012 to be near relatives. It is a convenient location with plenty of guest parking. The hotel lacks significant updating. Carpeting is old and ugly. Many walls need painting. Has the feel of a 1970s hotel stuck in time. Staff were okay but not overly helpful.

If you are looking for convinience then this hotel is perfect. Wifi is a bit slow though.

it took a while to get checked in because the lady attending me was on the computer and when she started checking me in she got side tracked talking to a different guest in a different language. finally i got my room key my best friend and i removed all the baggage from the car and had to lug it to the fifth floor the bell hop was busy leaning on the counter. once in the room we started to unpack and i tried to turn all the lights on. two didnt work. and the room smelled awful and the tv made a high pitch sound and the pillow had a burn hole on it, i called the lobby and they tried to say thet were completely booked and they could send a pillow case. after a few minutes of arguing they said the closest room was like two doors over. i figured she lied earlier. well the new rooms safe didnt work and the desk chair was stained. the loby said they couldnt do any thing about it. some other worker came up and he brought two chairs and fixed the safe. after that the stay was amazing. they also said they didnt do room service but when i left i found out there was restaurant in the lobby floor who delivered to the rooms...

Very friendly staff, clean room and room clean everyday. Comfortable bed, and convienent to my family,

IT WAS ABSOLUTELY ADEQUATE.

I enjoyed my stay. As a smoker, particularly liked having a smoking room. Liked having a weekly newspaper delivered.

The rooms are in great need of re-decorating. multi colored and patterned wall paper, and old carpet. The sliding door to the balcony needs to have a screen to prevent flies into the room. I thought the size of the room was nice, and it had a nice table and chairs, the bed was comfortable, & I slept well. The lobby was rather bland, lacking interest, and I saw no information about things to do in the area. I did not appreciate the need for a $$$ deposit in order to place a call to a 800 number to get food. I would use this location again when I am in the area

All comforts and amenities were overshadowed by the tree maintenance that took place right outside our 3rd-floor window beginning at 7:30 or 8 a.m. one morning. Hotel did not notify guests in advance, nor was the staff particularly apologetic. Other than that, conveniently close to freeway, as well as great access by surface streets to Griffith Park and Hollywood. Parking plentiful, but a little inconvenient and sometimes unsafe-feeling.

I like to stay here. The people are generally friendly and the rooms are big and comfortable. I do wish they didn't have the place lit up like an airport. It's so bright you can see it from space. The parking situation is pretty strange; a lot of permanent residents take up the spaces. I usually end up across the street. That's okay, I guess.

Front Desk staff very helpful- room view nice.- Room clean with one exception of tub caulk needed changed. Staff not real friendly. overall the hotel is old and outdated but comfortable bed and met my need for the time. The overwhelming smell of some cleaning chemical or spray was unbearable at first but once I was there for a while it went unnoticed.

Not bad for what I paid for. Other options in this area were way too expensive.

Very dumpy, and crowded. Attached to a Extended Stay which was very crowded and made parking extremely difficult to find. Did not have a pleasant impression. Will not stay again.

Enjoyable stay....very reasonable...very accommodating...excellent service from desk clerks, housekeeper & restaurant server & cashier. Would definitely recommend to friends, family.

Was only there for one night. Young lady at front desk was very helpful in getting me checked in and was very professional at her job.

A very comfortable room, and very clean. Personable staff were helpful.
