The hotel was fine. The rooms were clean enough. The service wasn't great. It took half an hour to check in because they didn't have the room I reserved 2 weeks in advance ready. And then they offered a room with a fridge which we said we wanted and then gave us one without. Not sure if we will stay there again.

Clean, comfortable and pleasant. A little slow on check in.

It was nice Great location Very clean. Would recommend it to my friends

While we were checking in. The service was too slow it took us almost 1 hour standing in line because 2 blond girls were chit chatting with the customer not minding the long line up at the back waiting for them to get finish. It is annoying because we were tired from traveling to think that we still have to stand and wait for 1 hour to stand:(

really the only dislike with the hotel is the staff it wasn't to friendly and not very knowledgeable. hard to stay again in this hotel.

Good location in downtown Edmonton. They have 2 above ground parking lots, which was perfect for us since we have a large truck. It costs $10 dollars a night for parking. We had to park in the "over flow" parking lot just across the street from the hotel, it didn't have a fence or video surveillance, but they have a staff member check the parking lot hourly. Rooms were nice and clean. Our only issue was trying to rent a movie off the tv menu-it wasn't working. We called the front desk to see if there was anything they could do, they said they had been having this issue with some TVs and offered to waive our parking fee instead. My only other complaint was that breakfast ended at 10 am, I think it should be extended to 11 am. We came down at about 10:20 and everything had been put away, a couple other guests had missed out as well. I'm sure there are lots of guests who are on leisure trips who want to sleep in a bit, so it'd be much better to have a later breakfast. Other than that our stay was very nice.

Its location in downtown is awesome and it doesn't take too long to get anywhere (not considering bad traffic). The place is well maintained with great and helpful staff. I prefer it for its breakfast option that is included. Its not much (in variety - fruits, eggs, bacon, bread, cereal, pancakes) but its better than stepping out in the morning looking for something to eat. It even has a small swimming pool and jacuzzi. Useful after a tiring day. Go there every time. I don't even bother with the other places compared to the value and quality it offers.

Rooms were good, comfy beds, quiet hotel and great service.

Never before have I been treated so horribly. The staff was RUDE the hotel was dirty and our room was disgusting. When I mentioned the room had a horrible odor to it the staff told me there was nothing they could do about it. I witnessed them being horrible to everyone so at least they were consistant. I dont normally leave comments but if me doing so will prevent anotger family frim having this same experience then i think its worth my time.

My stay was amazing and it's a prime area for visiting Edmonton. The hotel was clean and everyone who worked there was so polite and kind and very helpful. They always had answer for all of my questions, when I go back ill definitely be staying at the Holiday inn express again.

Free parking + Free breakfast = Great deal!! Convenient location, comfortable rooms. All around good deal.

The continental breakfast was the best that I have had yet, it was a full breakfast. room was comfortable and clean and staff was amazing, we asked if we could buy microwavable popcorn for the microwave and they gave us 2 free bags and 2 bottles of water(WOW).

Room layout was okay, and bed comfortable, but it was hot as air conditioning didn't work in winter and there was no fan or air circulation. The reasonable rates seemed to attract partiers so that noise was a problem both nights. Walls are thin, hallways echoey and doors slam noisily. Hot breakfast was nice, parking rates were reasonable. Probably would not stay again unless pressed.

Amazing place, good service and good location

It is hard to rate a place when all one does is sleep there. This hotel was ok, though it is a bit dated. The whole surrounding area has signs posted saying that car breakins are a frequent occurrence. For a one night stay this was fine. The room would have been very lacking if we were spending multiple days there. The staff was very friendly.

The price was right, the breakfast was excellent, and the room was very comfortable for 4 adults to stay. I will stay here again.

I always stay at this hotel when I visit Edmonton. I've very rarely had any problems there, but when I have had a problem, the front desk staff is always happy to fix it. Price is always good. Breakfast is fantastic.

Great places to stay and everything was just walking distances from the hotel. Will stay there more often but the breakfast is something to pass on.

Small rooms. No fridge. Thin walls. Could hear everything. Party in rooms and hallway. Smoking, loud music, and screaming all night long. Over priced for quality of stay.

We thought the rooms were very nice and the private balcony, fantastic!The complimentary breakfast was by far the best I've had. We were very impressed with the array of items to choose from. We would definitely book at this hotel again and other Holiday Inn Expess' for future events.

The staff is friendly, the location is very convenient, the breakfast has an excellent selction and long hours, and it's really all you could ask for in a hotel.

Great location and surroundings. The free breakfast was nice would recommend it this hotel. Will be going back on my next days off.

What a wonderful week in Edmonton. The Holiday Inn is a great place to stay. The staff were extremely helpful in providing transit info and attraction info. Breakfasts were great. Not having a car, location provided easy access to downtown. Would be pleased to recommend Holiday Inn to anyone.

It was good,insept the room was very hot and no air conditioning.

The hotel staff was very friendly and efficient - and even offered to help us find things to do, IF we needed such. When there was too much noise on our floor after 11 p.m., and we called down to the front desk, the problem was immediately addressed. The breakfast buffet was good, although I expected some changes between Sunday morning and Monday morning - ie scrambled eggs and bacon one morning, cheese omelettes and sausage the next.

The hotel was dirty. No towels in the pool area. Workers at desk watched you like a hawk all the time! Workers at desk very rude! I will never stay here again!

The Wifi in the rooms were awful and slow. Even going down to the lobby area didn't seem to make the connection any better or faster. It was better just go go outside and hook into the shaw internet cable. Parking was also an additional $10 per day, but if you park directly across from the red arrow, there's a lot for only $5 per day.

The stay at the hotel was amazing! We had booked two rooms for two families and the pool was quite alright. The staff were extremely friendly aswell! :D

All the basics are there plus the pool, whirlpool, sauna and gym. Not too many other downtown hotels have all of those extra facilities. The full breakfast buffet is nice, too.

They booked the wrong bed, we didnt get what we booked online

One of the rooms we booked on hotels.ca was not available and instead we got another that was not to our liking.
