I booked Knights Inn to cover a one night gap between hotel reservations. Good points: easy to find; bed was surprisingly comfortable; room was clean; good food close by. Bad points: neighborhood is questionable; refrigerator & coffee maker didn't work; no WiFi. Knights Inn is okay in a pinch, for one night, but it is not a place I would choose for an extended stay.

It's an ok place to stay if you are on an come and go trip but if I was stay longer I would get something else that's just me ever thing els was just a good place to get a bed for the night.

My Stay was very ok and I would stay there again , the price I paid was worth the inconvenience, but not by much. I paid $70 per night. The facade of the place , mainly the stairs leading upstairs mainly the stairs closest to the Sonic Restruant was hideous looking and SHOULD be repaired and that is what set teh stage in my mind of the whole place, luckily the room 200 was very clean. There was only a sheet and thin hotel nylon blanket though for each bed. The bathroom door handle/ lock fell apart when I was there, and maintenance was right on the job within a half hour of me reporting it, it was removed and replaced right away !!. My biggest complaint was all the loud door slamming from other people and I beleive it was due to the same reason I had much difficulty of closing my own, the door was not lined up properly , therefore I had to use extra strength and effort in getting it to close withotu slammiong it, but most other inconsiderate people routinly chose to slam their door and it was very frequently heard and very annoying to me. Hotel customer service was Great though, but OH MY, clean up my complaints I mentioned here and it will prove to be very worth the improvements. Yes the TV was a little fuzzy and I heard others talking, but with an inexpensive room like this, youre bound to get uneducated neighbors who werent taught consideration for others. YEA Im right, face it.

Room was excellent for the cost. Roll-away bed was free since we reserved it ahead of time. Mini fridge and microwave was good. Room was tight for 3 beds, but still worked. lots of parking, but a little tight at times. can't beat the price for the area.

Sketchy but got the job done.

three bad nights outs of seven ,thanks to inconsiderate guests who speak so loud everyone can hear through the paper thin walls. no sleep for anyone.. tv reception was deplorable.

The hotel looked dirty. The tv was fuzzy. Didn't have blanket just top comforter(who uses those?) and a sheet so it was cold. I had my own blankets in the car. I missed a nights checkin due to car problems and the man tried to tell me i couldn't check in til 3pm the next day even though I paid for the room up front for 5 nights. I was not satisfied and will definitely not stay there again.

Scary neighborhood, dirty hotel. I wouldn't book in this hotel again.

This was the WORST hotel I have ever been into the room looked like someone stayed there and just left it had a terrible smell there was holes in the was the people that was already in the hotel was yelling out the window to us I didn't even go in the room or put my stuff down I just left please please don't stay there

Hotel was old and in poor repair. Tap in bath ran constantly. If neibour was watchin TV you could hear every word. When neibour entered their room, our door rattled. The neibouhood was scary. Never again will we stay here.

room was unclean, dirty floors and some moldy- mildew on windows. Next to run down trailer park on one side, close to good neighborhood and shopping on other. Across from Saints (NFL) training facility. Not a scarry environment though.

It was a pretty cheap room, and I really enjoyed staying here! it's about a 15 minute ride to down town, and all of the staff are real nice and willing to help you out with what you need! If you're a little tight on cash, this may very well be the hotel for you.

Outside of hotel looked a mess. Didn't look like a safe area. Inside the room was a pleasant surprise.

It was just adequate. We needed a place to crash until we went to our final destination a French Quarter resort. It was a crash pad, no frills, not too bad of smell, though there was one. The best thing I can say is the coffee was pretty good.

I stayed there for a week while working in the area. Room was damp and musty, but a good spraying with Lysol helped. Service was OK but the whole place was pretty run down. Location seemed to be OK. There was a trailer park across the street but just because people live in a trailer park doesn't mean they're bad. I would stay here again only as a last resort.

Beautiful pool but the rest of the outside was creepy. Breakfast was 8 donuts that were as hard as rocks. Can see why it was so inexpensive. Spend a few dollars more and reserve a nicer place.

I should have checked the reviews before booking. Based on the neighborhood and the level of trash in the parking lot raised concerns. The hotel owner needs to do general maintenance on the building. I stayed my one night and left.

Not a hotel for a family. People watching you as you walk to your room. I took my bags with me eveytime I left the room

the rooms fit our requirements. They were very clean and the bedding was clean and the beds comfortable. However, I have two criticisms: One bed was so close to the air conditioner that cold air blew on the occupant constantly and area surrounding the pool was dirty with cigarette butts and the tables were not clean.

The staff was great but the hotel is not in the greatest area.

Not bad for a 2 night stay. Could use some minor repairs. I've seen better and I've seen worse. No real interraction with staff and the staff that came iin to clean my room didn't speak English.

Room was clean and price was right for a stopover.

It was okay it served the purpose

First off, I have to say this place has a gem right in the middle of the grounds, it hands down has one of the nicest, biggest pools of any hotel I have been to ( I have been to ly fair share). It has nice tables, reclining pool chairs, a small sitting pool attached to the big pool. It was decently clean, it was termite swarming season in New Orleans (yes, we have that here), so it was impossible to keep spotless. The hotel is next to a trailer park, which is not the hotels fault, and after 10pm the lobby's closed & u speak to a worker through plexiglass, check-in was easy even tho I made reservation just minutes before my arrival. I did not leave the room at nite but the whole hotel was very well lit! There were several places nearby to eat and a grocery store too. The room was just a little old and worn, a bit tacky but for the price, I am not complaining, it was clean, beds were comfy and sheets spotless. Other than the flat screen & cable, the room didn't have many amendities, but we didn't ask for a fridge r microwave either. I did peep out some empty rooms that looked much nicer than ours, so they are there. Simply put, I would stay there again, mostly for the pool and never for more than the hotels.com price. Decent but I am accustomed to a bit nicer accommodations for more $$.

reasonable price, great art deco colors. Sonic (for food) next door, no on-site option.

The hotel is very old and dated. The bathroom was a bit worn but clean. The towels are awful but the maid service was great. I didn't swim in the pool but it looked good. For the money it was a good deal.

The first room we were put in had dirty towels on the floor. Maintenance was so poor, that a whole section of rooms were bolted shut. Lots of seedy looking characters hanging around. I doubt we will stay there again.

Front desk staff was rude and unbecoming of hotel staff. Room was unkempt, small, uncomfortable, and thin walled. Neighborhood made me feel like I could get robbed and or stabbed at any time. I wouldn't pay fifty bucks to stay there ever again.

the clerk at the front desk was very kind for unlocking the door and letting me in the office for a late night check in. It was not safe to be outside at that time of night

The Motel, was clean, comfortable bed. The staff were exceptionally helpful, especially helping me get a cab in the evening on a weekend in New Orleans! They also let me store my luggage so I could shop before leaving for home. Having a microwave and fridge in room did help, as restauants were near, but not walking distance. There is a Winn-Dixie half a block away which was quite helpful. TV worked, WIFI was free. Local calls free. There is a airport route bus to downtown which stops right outside the motel. Pretty good value.

The hotel was great for the price. It was a 7min. drive to Bourbon Street in New Orleans. I would stay there again rather than trying to pay the high price fees to stay in New Orleans. The carpet need to be cleaned or replace it was old and stained. Overall I was pleased with the stay it was only for one night and I would do it again. I saved a great deal of money.

Room was full of trash when we got to it, we had to call them when we go to it, to clean it. They then asked if it was out trash even though I had checked in less than 10 minutes prior to asking. Hotel was I guess what I paid for, cheap.

The hotel looks nothing like the pictures. I don't know where those pictures came from but it is NOT this place. The hotel has all kinds of crap laying around the premises like boards and buckets. The rooms were OK, but were very old and had stained bathtubs and sinks. Carpet and floorboards were dirty. Rooms are very small. Shower would fluctuate between hot and cold, and scald us. Staff was rude, brief, and careless. I had to call 4 times to confirm my reservation before hand. Each time they couldn't find record of my reservation, and I had to wait on hold while they got their manager??? The first night was more than I could handle, so I cancelled with hotels.com and went to a great place nearby called "Days Hotel" which was where we ended up staying afterwards. Days was pretty reasonable, it's like what you would expect witha cheap hotel. Cancelling with Travell In Plaza was an absolute nightmare, I had to spend 2 hours on the phone to get it done. People... this hotel is the WORST I have stayed in. I have stayed in motel 6's and many roadside inns and this is THE WORST experience I have had. I couldn't beleive what I was seeing. get a hotel that isn't ghetto trash. avoid this place, it is NOT WORTH THE $5 difference from nearby hotels.
