Hyatt Regency Pier 66 - פורט לודרדייל

Cheaper rate means cheaper room. The location was great and the staff was helpful. Would stay again.

Overall, the Hyatt Pier 66 is a nice, quiet hotel with a very nice pool area. However, we dealt with a very aggressive and rude valet guy who was not at all hospitable. We informed him to check with the front desk and to bill the parking to our room; however, he did not listen and caused a fiasco. Next time, be more hospitable to your guests as we are accustomed to staying at the Fontainebleau and Trump. I give the hotel 4 stars and valet one star.

Great hotel, staff really nice & friendly.

I was very pleased with this hotel . The staff was so welcoming and nice . The BEST staff on Ft. Lauderdale very helpful and will to make your stay pleasant. I will book this hotel again. Clean room everyday,

Our room was located on the first floor. Such easy access. The staff was wonderful and helpful. We would love to visit again.

The number one great aspect were the personnel - everyone we encountered was cheerful, helpful and professional. The room location did reflect our booking method, located in the rear and this room was unfortunately close to the dumpster. The furniture was very clean but all the wood was scuffed and showed the scuffs. A plus with this room - it was very close to parking.

patio on room only one chair no cushion[ s/b two w/cushions] had to request additional. patio table was a mess. room keys gave trouble all wkend. bathroom toilet had to flush twice to work properly. Wife bought jewelry at shop. neckaclace broke right away. was told could be fixed next day and would get additional 20% discount. by rayne the clerk. went back next morning, Sun. was told could not repair and would not get additional discount. stayed at hyatts in arub a an other cities. really doubt i would recommend after this experience.

Pier 66 was a lovely hotel and the staff were super friendly and very helpful. The pool area was beautiful and there were lot's of choices for restaurants. A little pricey though. There was also a small gift shop and a computer for flight check in and printing of boarding passes. Located right on the marina, walking distance to beach and very close to cruise port. My only complaint was the air conditioning was not turned on in our room upon checking in and it took a while to cool down as the A/C didn't work very well. Would definitely stay there again.

This place really needs a re-do. I travel for my job and this hotel does not rate the prices they are charging for their rooms. I'm a Hyatt Platinum member as well. They let me down at this location.

Make sure you get a tower room. The marina rooms are small, dark and run down. Staff at front desk were friendly and helped us upgrade to a tower room.

Hotel staff was very friendly, rooms were very clean, and the hotel pool was open 24 hours! It's about a mile and a half from the beach so we just walked there in the mornings. I'd return!

I have stayed in this hotel before and it never seems to disappoint! I always reserve a suite in the tower,and have enjoyed gorgeous sunsets over the intercostal each visit... Overall for the price it is the best choice for lauderdale unless you are willing to spend over $400 a night for beach front. Cheers!

Great location, the hotel provides a shuttle to the beach every X hours however its resort is super extensive with multiple pools and a huge hot tub so you might not need the beach. Everybody was super helpful and nice.

We had a room in the Lanai (not the tower), which many other reviewers have rated negatively, but we found it very comfortable. The room opened onto a small patio by the marina that was quite lovely. Grounds are beautiful. Staff was polite and helpful. Only complaint was level of cleanliness and occasional noise.

Staff was very responsive & courteous. Very relaxing, clean & comfortable. Look forward to stayint @ Pier 66 again!

Terrible for +$200 ... room was very dated , marks on tables , lamps were old, bathroom very cheap, no food, room service/shop/snacks available after 11.pm . step it up , you're a hyatt ..

Very disappointed. The hotel site states that they offer smoking rooms and we requested said room, but the reality is that there are NO smoking rooms anywhere in the hotel. Very misleading advertising.

Have stayed in hotel many times over the past 20 years. Love the hotel. however our booking thru Hotels.com landed us in the worse room in the hotel. We had to pay additional $40.00 per night for our stay.

While I had reserved a king bed, none were available. The hotel was nice, but not meeting my request for a king bed was a big negative. We had to request a new room due to air conditioner noise in the original room.

One of my worst experience with Hyatt. The A/C was so noisy I could not sleep. The shower was not working, it was not repaired and no one seem to care at the front desk. It was one of my worst hotel experience.

Nice place, beautiful surroundings, but quite dated interior. Pool was fantastic as was the walking around the marina.

This Hotel had good ratings, which made is more disappointing. We thought for the nighly rate was too high for the room size and quality . The 3 issues that stood out were 1. There was no milk in the fridge for tea and coffee, 2. The air conditioning unit even after turning it off, was so loud ( the motor in stand by does not turn off completely ) that we had to call a handyman after midnight , who then disabled the unit manually. The noise was like a parked motorbike next to your window. When our unit was disabled , we could still hear the neighbours one, which made us believe that other guests put up with to noise.....the units are old , so is the bathroom , the resort rooms do need an upgrade! 3. Complaint about the spa. Don't get a bikini wax .....it was the most unprofessional service we received. We could have sent in pictures of afterwards and sue the spa for negligence .....

This turned out to be a great stay, for not much more than what a basic extended stay hotel would have cost. Needed a place close to the Cruise Terminal and the airport, but wanted to have a pool and a nice place to hang out without paying serious money. I think I hit the jackpot here! Used a combination of city bus ($1.75), local trolley ($.50), walking and taxi (to airport $16.00) to get around, there is a $21 fee/day to park if you have a car. Nice to stroll around the grounds checking out the yachts on the canals bordering the hotel - Steven Spielberg's huge yacht is docked here!

Great location and excellent hotel facilities, especially the fine dining....but the service was lacking. A friendly smile goes a long way to make or break a hotel experience and, when we were there, they were fresh out!

Great hotel, and I will happily stay there again. It is on the Sun Trolley line that takes you from Galleria Mall to the Mall with the Total Wine store with its fabulous selection of wines, liquors and cigars, at 50 cents per ride. There is an upscale restaurant on the grounds which we did not try, but at a pricey average per person, we decided to pass. Unfortunately, there are no restaurants within easy walking distance, so we ate at the lobby restaurant. The first night the food was good, but the second night the appetizer was a deep fried frozen crunchy, greasy, duck pasta. Not the best. The fish main course was a little salty, and the Cobb salad was a little less than crispy fresh, and not as good as the previous night. Different chef? The shrimps in the salad were large and delicious, however. We decided that we would not eat there again. The Sun Trolley does not run after 6:30, so any other restaurant would be a taxi ride. The room was particularly spacious, and overlooked the huge courtyard and large pool area. Very inviting, and well used, the pool area is definitely a highlight. The snack bar at the pool serves excellent espresso, as well as snacks. The property was first class. The food less so.

This is a lower end hotel. I was expecting more from a Hyatt specially at the premium price paid. I do not understand the 4.1 rating from the guests. On my trip, this was the most expensive one and the worst. We changed room 3 times B-4 getting something acceptable. Smell, cleaningless, bad services and cold pool and spa should give us a rating around 2.

We took the trouble to call the hotel before leaving the UK to confirm that we wanted x 3 rooms overlooking the waterway on the second floor. We arrived to find that we weren't where we were told we would be. After some conversation with the receptionist we managed to get the rooms we had requested. All the rooms where we were staying had a balcony, but were very 'shabby' and needed a complete refurb. On two days our room wasn't cleaned or clean towels etc provided!! The bedroom furniture, carpets etc were dirty. The cupboard door in the room was hanging off and one of the drawers was missing. We didn't find the receptionists at all helpful, indeed they had the attitude that they were doing you a favour. I can't comment on bedrooms in the tower, but we certainly wouldn't recommend this hotel. It had that 1950's Butlins Holiday Camp feel to it!!

Very disappointing

It was very pleasant and nice surrounding.

This is a nice property that is less than a mile from cruise terminal. It does look and feel like it needs to be updated. It just feels kind of tired.

We arrived at our hotel after a lot of delayed fights and missing luggage. We entered our room and it was on the ground floor, facing a canal, which was very nice. However, the lock on the patio door was mangled (it really looked tampered with) and did not work. Unnerving! And when I rang the front desk, a woman said someone would fix it and if that did not work, they would then change the room (which, considering the lock's condition, was not enough). I went in person to the front desk and was met with a very helpful and friendly young gentleman who immediately changed the room, with an upgrade. It was a great room with a balcony over the pool and tile floor. He was so nice about it that he changed my entire view of the hotel. The hotel needs some refurbishment (our new room was much nicer, but a bit shabby around the edges). But with an employee like that...the stay went from a possible two rating to a four rating for sure (with him getting five stars- wish I had gotten his name!).

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed swimming and love the hot spa.Very nice place to stay and beautiful.Highly recommended.
